Izzy laughs. "Where are we going?"

“Wanna go for a walk in the gardens?” she asks.

Iz smiles, getting up.

Izzy walks to the gardens with him.

Kay comes here and sees that the package containing the engagement ring is here. Thank god, I was so worried it wasn't gonna be here in time! He grabs it and unwraps it as he goes inside, then takes out the box with the ring in it. He opens it and smiles as he sees it. It's perfect. He closes the box again.

Archie walks in here with kay. He goes to the bathroom, gets a washcloth and some bandaids.

Kay looks distrustfully at the washcloth and bandaids. "Do we have to?"

"I want to make sure they are clean." he tells kay going over. "It'll be quick"

Kay instinctively pulls his arm away.

Kay frowns and shakes his head.

Izzy stops outside the door but doesn’t knock yet, debating it. She was still crying.

Kay hears her crying and looks over at the door. "Iz? Is that you? Are you okay?" he asks. He gets up and opens the door. "Izzy, what's wrong?" he asks, wrapping her in a hug.

[Maya]

“I-I’m a t-terrible mother,” she stutters, “I-I’m not good enough f-for them.” She’s hiding her arm from him.

"Izzy, you're not a terrible mother. You're an amazing mother to Ashley and an amazing wife to Asher and you're perfect for both of them, alright?" Kay says, holding Izzy tightly. "You're so amazing. Don't ever tell yourself otherwise, alright?" He hopes she doesn't notice his arm either.

[Maya]

“I k-keep messing things u-up,” she says. Iz looks behind him and sees Archie standing there with a cloth and bandaids. “Did I interrupt you guys?” she asks, “I’m sorry… I’ll leave.”

"No you don't, Izzy." Then Kay pauses. "No, you didn't. It's nothing. Come on in," he says, practically dragging Izzy into the room. He hopes it will let him avoid the cloth and bandaids.

“Kay, what happened?” Iz asks, knowing he was lying to her.

"Nothing, Iz. I'm fine," says Kay quickly.

“Well then why does Arch have a washcloth and bandaids?” Izzy asks, hoping she’s not pushing him too far. Her arm is slightly showing but she doesn’t notice.

Archie bit his lip.

[Maya]

Izzy turns to face him. “Archie?” she asks, expectant.

He looks at kay.
"If kayden wants to tell you he can. I'm not speaking here" he tells her sitting down.

"I'm fine, Izzy," Kay says again. Then he sees her arm. "You're not," he says while grabbing it. "Iz, what did you do?"

“Nothing,” Iz says, grabbing her arm back.

"It's not nothing! You're bleeding, Iz!" Kay insists.

[Maya]

She sees his arm. “You are, too!”

Kay curses. "You weren't supposed to know that."

“A-and you weren’t supposed to kn-know about this! My husband a-and even my s-six month old d-daughter are disappointed in m-me!” Izzy tells him, tears starting to fall again.

"Because they don't want to see you hurting yourself, Iz! Because they know that you're strong and you don't have to hurt yourself to cope with things!" says Kay, wiping Izzy's tears away. Tears well up in his eyes as well because of how sad Izzy is.

[Maya]

“I-It’s hard…” Izzy says, “Y-you know how h-hard it is.”

"But you're strong, Iz! I'm not! You can get through this, okay?"

[Maya]

“Y-you’re strong too.”

Kay shakes his head. "No. No, I'm not. But thanks for believing in me, anyway." He turns away, taking the cloth and bandaids from Archie. "I'm gonna clean up your arm now," he tells Iz.

[Maya]

Izzy holds her arm close to her. “No… that hurts.”

"You know what's gonna hurt more? An infection which could lead to hospitalization," says Kay, turning back to her with his arms crossed and his hip jutting out slightly.

[Maya]

“I didn’t use a knife…” she argues weakly, “It shouldn’t get infected.”

"What about any germs on your hands or under your fingernails?" Kay asks, raising an eyebrow.

[Maya]

“I… Fine,” she says, giving up.

Kay took the cloth and gently cleaned Izzy's wounds, then put bandaids on them. "There."

Archie watches quietly

[Maya]

Iz winces each time. “Asher’s gonna be mad…”

"I don't think so. Disappointed, maybe, but not mad. He loves you," says Kay gently, ignoring the fact that his arm's starting to throb. He'd used a very unclean piece of broken plastic to cut himself so infection's probably starting to set in. He doesn't care, though. He's more worried about Izzy than himself.

[Maya]

Izzy shrugs. "I guess... now let's get you cleaned up. I can do it, or Archie can."

Kay's eyes widen slightly. He knows he's being a hypocrite, but he can't do this, or at least he thinks so. He shakes his head. "No, no, I'm fine."
