This does not appear to be a series by Goodreads standards, and the original series was created in error. I can suggest making it a List on Listopia. I can create it, or you can if you prefer.

Suzi | 8661 comments the Goodreads definition:

Imprints and other unrelated collections of works (usually by multiple authors) are not series. They can be grouped with a Listopia list, or the collection/imprint information can be listed in the edition field, but they should not be grouped into a series, or listed on a book's title line.

As a general rule, a book is only part of a series if that designation would apply to all editions of a work. To be a series, books should have characters and/or universes in common. In the case of imprints and other non-series collections, it is common for some of these books to be published under numerous other imprints as well.

For example, SF Masterworks would not be a series, and neither would Harlequin Blaze.

P | 5 comments Thank you, I'll make a list!

I'm also wondering what exactly is an imprint? Like if these writings were never published anywhere but in this book would it still be considered an imprint?

And also similarly how could you tell what should be considered part of a series for non-fiction or technical writing?

Best I can tell there is not a non-fiction series.

I've played with Listopia a little bit. It's cool, and you can manage it yourself. If you need help along the way, post a new thread on this forum.

Do you want me to leave the series for a bit while you convert it to a list? And if so, will you let me know so I can delete it? If you don't need it to make your list, I'll delete it now. Please advise.

Wikipedia explains imprints pretty well, here is the gist:

imprint of a publisher is a trade name under which it publishes a work. A single publishing company may have multiple imprints, often using the different names as brands to market works to various demographic consumer segments.

Non-fiction books can be a series on Goodreads, but it's far less common.
