We're nearing the end! Do you have an predictions as to how this story will come to a close?? Let us know!

Morgan Blanch (hopelessbookaddict) WHAT EVEN HAPPENED???!!! I'm sorry, I refuse to believe this. This absolutely CANNOT be right.
Okay, rant over. Please excuse while I stay up all night devouring this book.

Bookworm | 31 comments Nooo! This can't be true! :(

Amber (ambervla) | 1 comments This can't be happening. Everything went so fast.

Libby (arakazi) | 5 comments This was a very strong Part in the story. Kelsier dies and has most likely turned himself into a martyr and even more of a symbol for the rebellion. (p.413)There was the Vallan religion Kell asked Sazed to tell him about and asked about how they managed to keep going (the longest then any other religion) even though the Lord Ruler had their leaders killed. And it was the faith, hope and determination I think this will happen here - Reaching? I don't know.
I loved the chapter where Vin killed Shan Elariel and we find out that she is a mistborn and then how Eland decided that even though Vin only wanted to rob him he thinks they could still make a relationship work.
I feel like Sanderson could do a few different things in this last part and I would be happy.

Some of my musings..
1. Vin, Sazed and Eland escape Luthadel and go into the country to recruit more rebels.
2. Spook better not have died.
3. What is a Kander? I feel like I missed something.

Libby (arakazi) | 5 comments 4. Is the Deepness that (pre)Lord Ruler wrote about in his logbook something to do with the Mist or was it something that the Ruler created.
5. Does Sazed know what happened because he is a keeper.

This is maybe the most importent worry I have.
6. Vin didn't even know what a flower is and of course, because there apparently are none (that we know of) yet there are fruit. This is probably my biggest frustration in the whole book. They always eat fruit. Where the eff is all this magical fruit coming from??

Moriah So sad, isn't it...? I wanted to commit suicide by this point. Grieve properly, guys, because there's a lot more drama in the following books, believe it or not :P

Nathan | 5 comments Kelsier!!! No!!!
What else can you even say at this point? Of course there's gonna be a turn around now (there should be anyway) but I fail to see how.

Kaylene (kylnmllr87) No not Kelsier! :'( I feared this would happen but kept hoping I was wrong.
I did really enjoy this Part though. I flew through it unlike the first three. There was just so much happening! I have no idea how this book is going to end. I'm wondering if it will wrap up to some extent or if its going to be an open ending since its just the first book of the series. I hope there's at least a little bit of resolution.
I'm hoping for some answers about the Lord Ruler still in this book. He is just so different from the journal entries. The Lord Ruler seems more like the Deepness he describes in his logbook.
I also love Elend even more in this Part. I love how he wasn't revolted when he found out Valette (Vin) was skaa. Instead he was intrigued and curious. He is such a curious noble. I'm still hoping he'll become part of the revolution. He and Vin better talk soon, now that he knows. I want to read that conversation. He better not die too. Oh and I love that Kelsier saved him for Vin even though he hates nobles. So good!
but still Kelsier!!!! :'(
