I have the book on hold at the library and am second in line so fingers crossed it comes in sooner than later. Can't wait to get going on this one, it has popped up on my radar quite a bit lately and the reviews have me eager to read it!
I hope to start reading this at the end of July. The sheer size of it!
I have the book from the library and will be starting it soon...most likely this weekend!
It's a slow start and starts getting interesting about 20% into the story. I am enjoying the world now. Found it frustrating at first.
I am loving all the action so far but the characters are not very lovable. I feel for Tane and her ambitions and guilt but other than that the remaining characters are not making an impression.
This book had so much scope with its world building. What did you like and dislike about the storyline?
I tried with this one...I tried over several days with this one but it just wasn't for me. I am sad to say, DNF. I couldn't find characters I wanted to root for and my (distracted) mind just didn't hold all the threads together. Still glad I tried it!
Yeah I almost DNF as well. I skimmed through fast. 800+ pages is too much of a commitment if you don't feel good about a book.
