I read this book about three years ago about a mother whose mute son gets kidnapped and there's a bunch of investigations and eventually the case is dismissed. Years later she moves to a cabin far away from her home and starts seeing ghosts of dead children?? I do not remember much but I know the book ends with her eventually finding her son hiding in a bat cave? Anyone with even 'shot in the dark suggestions' would be helpful! Thank you!
