Andy | 5 comments Scifi series where ancient ship is found buried in South America. Bases then found in France, New Zealand(wrecked) and North America and the Moon. Bases have portals to other locations. Ancient races of humans where heavy worlder (dwarfs) where soldiers for the bad guy alien leadership and still have strong control of the chinese government.
One portal leads to a world where there is an American war of independence army fighting aliens still for control of an ancient city.

When did you read it or when was it published;
author's gender;
cover.

Andy | 5 comments I think its a recent set of books in the last 10 years. I usually read male authors and I have no idea what the cover had on it. I think the plot above is over a few books, but the first is the one where they dig up the ship in the South American jungle.

Andy, can you describe the main characters and who they work for?

message 5: by Andy (new)

Andy | 5 comments I think the main characters are private individuals and upon getting the tech they are constantly avoiding the national governments who will grab everything. I seem to recall that they have to make some sort of deal with a terrorist in France which leads to a large number of terrorists fallowing them and attacking the hidden base there. A little more on those portals in bases. There is one in olympus mons on mars and another is on a large ship circling our solar system.
The original alien master race seems to have devolved to a lower level with fragments of them in different systems but with limited access to their old technology.
