You Are Not Alone, by Greer Hendricks- 3 Stars

Super quick trendy popcorn psychological thriller. Alternating narrators, a girl clique with a shade of mystery, something to solve, a protagonist that you want to root for. All popular and good things in making a "girl" kind of book.

This follows Shay, who witnesses a woman commit suicide by jumping in front of a subway train. When she delves deeper into this woman's life, she meets her friends, and starts getting entangled in their web of who knows what. Who is lying, who do we trust?

The chapters fly by. I thought it was a satisfying ending (view spoiler)[ 3 sisters instead of 2! (hide spoiler)], albeit kind of manipulative of the author the way it was fleshed out to leave OUT key ingredients for us to figure it out on our own, and dump them all at the end. I probably won't remember the details of this in a few months. Exactly what I was looking for from Greer Hendricks. My main qualm was why does Shay care so much about this random girl she saw commit suicide? She digs and digs and digs, and we never really reveal WHY she cares so much.
