Gina, I'm so sorry to read about your daughter's eye surgery and near-blindness. I've had five eye surgeries myself, though I can now see fine. I hope your daughter's sight can be saved. Even if she just sees light, it keeps her from developing non-24 and having her sleep cycles disrupted. It also helps ward off some isolating feelings.
Sending positive energy and best wishes for the best outcome possible.

I have to thank many of you for multiple suggestions. I went to Netflix on my iPad and started some 5 or so shows so they will show up in my “currently watching” area when I watch on tv with Roku. So much easier to search on the iPad. I’ll have to try that on Prime. I find searching there really difficult. I get stuck after spelling out what I want. I guess my tech skills haven’t evolved enough for Prime.
But I plan to watch some soon. I loved the opening shots of the dancing birds. And I don’t remember who to thank for that.

I think someone mentioned Atlantic Crossing on Tuesday. I have now watched the first two episodes and thought they were excellent. I was surprised at how involved I became, and quickly, in these people’s lives. I really care about them. I’m not sure if it’s partly the fact that it’s primarily not in English that adds to the reality.

Carol, I'll make sure Jane includes you when she sends out the next Zoom link. The link usually goes out a day or two before the meeting. Anyone is welcome to send their email address to Jane to be included, but we don't post the link here because it would be unwieldy if all of our members on GR tried to attend.

1. Click EDIT MY USER PROFILE
2. In ACCOUNT SETTINGS, click EMAILS
3. Scroll all the way down to GROUP EMAIL PREFERENCES to choose how often you are notified of group posts.
If not, that's all I've got.

Oops, I meant Lynn.

Thanks

I no longer get these either. Ken, I checked and I still have the settings marked in my profile. For some time now, I have been experiencing off and on problems with the daily digest emails. I have finally given up and just to to "discussions" and then click on the topics that have posts that are marked "unread."

That’s exactly what I do, Ann. Daily digest emails have been very sporadic.
