Proper way to update a book with a new title/ISBN?

Hello! Apologies if this has been asked here before, but I want to make sure I do this correctly. I will be updating titles, covers, and ISBNs for 3 of my books. The content is still the same, so I'd like the Goodreads reviews and ratings to transfer to the new titles, if possible. How do I go about making this happen, or at the very least, getting the new titles set up correctly and making it clear they aren't brand new books?

If the ISBN is different, you will click "Add a new edition" from one of the book editions.

If the ISBN is the same, you will click "Add an alternate cover edition."

Then you can set the new edition as the primary one.
The reviews and ratings will remain with the book record overall, but they will not transfer to that specific edition. All the ratings and reviews will still be linked together.

One last question (hopefully) - if I already created a new book rather than a new edition, is it possible to have the new book deleted? I know normally not, but I created it in error before I thought to ask for help (sorry).
