I never believe it was Cody stalking her as I felt like that would be too obvious. It did keep me guessing to figure out who it was.
For about one second I entertained the possibility that Cody was the stalker. For the same second I entertained the possibility that the stalker and the vigilantes were connected.
As soon as someone suggested her stalker was Cody I completely dismissed it. It felt too obviously. I never knew who her stalker was...of course we were never told his name and he ended up being a virtual unknown.
I thought it might be him for a little while but eventually that began to make less sense. He didn’t need to stalk her as he could have as much contact as he wanted.
I thought it might be him for a bit. I thought he was possibly jealous that Lucy and Sean seemed to be getting closer and he wanted to get back with Lucy. But I agree, he could see her whenever he wanted so I dismissed him pretty early on.
I didn't believe Cody was Lucy's stalker. I had no idea who it really was, but I hard a hard time believing that Cody would stalk Lucy since they had an amicable break-up and were still friends.
I never thought it was Cody. He still loved her, but I felt like he had accepted it. It was challenging though. Some of the chapters from the stalkers point-of-view could have pointed to many people. I was shocked when they found out the "Cody" has sent Lucy the flowers and they immediately believed it.
I never believed Cody was the stalker, and I never thought he sent her the roses. Knowing they dropped the ball, but not knowing who else the stalker could be still added to my suspense, wondering about every other guy out there [besides her brothers and Hans et al].
