is from Avowals and Denials - A Book of Essays but I was unable to find it in the dropdown list to assign it.

It only shows the author's first 500 works. I don't know how or if there is a way to assign it to one of the books that doesn't show. Someone else might be able to confirm.

ETA in case anyone else sees this thread and needs the information, I will provide it here. A workaround is to move the book to a new profile, assign the quote, then move the book back to the correct one.
Do not merge the authors. See #6

Be careful, as soon as you hit "edit quote" now, the book disappears again, which also happens with merged author profiles.
