Please start a new topic for your work in this folder, labelled "[your name]'s writing" or "[your title] by [your name]"

How do you start a folder?

Also, I'm a bit concerned about plagiarism. Not sure if I'm asking this correctly, but is that a problem here? I mean, has it been known to happen in this group (not necessarily by the people *in* the group)?

Only mods can start a folder, but anyone (with permission of course ;) ) can start a thread. There are two ways to do this:
One, you can go to the folder that you want to start a thread in, and at the top it says 'new topic'. You can click that to creat your new topic.
The other way is to go to the group home page, and at the top of all the discussions, on the bar that says 'Discussion Board', it also says 'topics: all | new | unread' on the right-hand side. By clicking 'new' you can create a topic. If you use this way, however, you have to select which folder you'd like it in from the drop-down menu.
