Elizabeth | 9 comments Is Lies of Locke Lamora considered Urban Fantasy? I'm listening to it now from audible. I love it so far.

I figured it might be fun to start of the year with something a little different so I didn't mind including it in the vote (next month will return to normal). Plus, it sounded promising.

Reader-ramble | 17 comments I really like this book. It's a fun one, for the most part.

Paulette I am really not a fan of the whole thing where an author bops up and down the timeline with no regard for the flow of the story. I find it really hard to stay interested. It would have been a great book except for that, though.

Vera M. I really liked this book. Characters were so interesting.

Paulette, you are in the same mind as my husband about that. He felt if he read it through without the "intermissions" he would've like the story more. Or if they were 2 separate books. He liked the main story, liked the intermissions, but didn't like how they were set up back and forth, kind of took him out of the book.

Vroom | 21 comments I am struggling to get through this. I'm sure the book is great but I'm not entirely convinced I'm the right audience for it.

Rick Maloy (redantec) | 1 comments Just finished the book and I too suffered through the first half. It moved a little slow but I was glad i stuck with it. It took some time to get through the changing between time lines but at the end of the book I rather liked it. It was nice to skip to another time and leave you hanging while you learn a little more about a character and why they are the way they are. So much fun stick through it if you are thinking of putting it down, it gets better.

Andrea Domanski I actually enjoyed this book. I know the switcheroo of timelines bothered a lot of people, but I kind of liked that. It was like having a cliffhanger every time and although it took me a bit to get my head in the new timeline, once I was there it was smooth sailing.
