Lyla smiles and walks back over. She starts to pet her.

[Edlyn]She rumbled deep in her throat happily. Sorry I scared you.
Lyla smiles and kissed the top of her head. "Are you going to talk now?"
[Edlyn]... Tilting her head she thought about it. ...Yes...
[Edlyn]Where's Jacob? Is he okay?
Lyla nods and motions to Jacob, laying down beside them.
He simply smiled at the two and closed his eyes.
"Do you want me to go, Jacob?" Lyla asks him so quietly it's nearly inaudible.
" It's your choice whether you want to stay or not. " He mumbled sleepily
Lyla nods. "Okay," she whispers, and lays down next to him, "Is this okay?"
[Chilali]With a grunt, she climbed into both Jacob's and Lyla's lap. Ya'll better not be going anywhere without me...

She smiled softly and cuddled into him.
She falls asleep in his arms, smiling softly.
He slowly opens his eyes after a few hours.
Lyla keeps sleeping a peaceful, dreamless sleep.
He gets up, careful not to wake her up and goes to wash his face.
He comes out and sits at his desk, drawing/sketching scenes from memory.
Lyla has a nightmare, whimpering and whispering things quietly as she sleeps.
He turns around on hearing the whimpering and gets up. He walks towards the bed and sits down beside her, running a hand through her hair and whispers reassuring words to her softly.
She calms down almost immediately after he touches her, holding onto his arm.
He gave a small smile at this and continued doing it.
A soft smile appears on Lyla's face and she looks calm and happy.
After a while he stopped and slowly got up.
About half an hour later, Lyla wakes up, her eyes fluttering open.
Jacob was sitting at the desk, his back was to her and he had his headphones on. He seemed to be listening to some song on YouTube. https://youtu.be/UpCXg_CKlRk
She frowns at his back and sits up. She looks at the date on her phone and texts Izzy: Hey. I'm assuming you're at the cemetery by now. Want me to come? I miss them too...
He paused the video and turns around, " Oh, your up. Good morning ! " He smiles
Lyla smiles back, putting her phone down. "Good morning!"
" Well....... Earlier, a few hours ago you were having some bad dream...... Wanna talk about it ? "
She sighs. "It was just the usual... except..."
She shakes her head, trying to clear it. "Today... is the day a friend of mine's family died years ago. She lived with us for years after that. I just... I used to hear her screams whenever she had nightmares, and they were in my nightmare."
He got up and sat down beside her. He put one arm around her and simply sat there. Not saying anything.
Lyla leans on him, partially hoping he'll say something. Her phone dings, a text back from Izzy.
" You might wanna answer that he said (( Sorry ! It's past midnight ! I'm gonna go to bed ! See ya tomorrow ! ))
Lyla nods. She looks at the text. Sure. Come if you want. Lyla texts back, Okay I'll come in a bit.
[Edlyn]A note was left. Gone for a walk.
Lyla notices a note and looks at it. I wonder where she went?
((At the Playground. Meet her there?))
[Edlyn]"Lyla, Jacob. I'm back. I brought a couple of friends!"
Lyla hides her shock at hearing Edlyn’s voice. “Okay,” she says, looking up from her book.
[Edlyn]Jumping into her arms, she said, "Why are you surprised? I said I would talk." Pointing to Luke, she said, "He helped me talk."
