"Can you wake up?" Lyla asks, knowing she most likely wouldn't get any sort of response. But she was hopeful.
She tried to. She felt less tired. Her eyes slowly opened.
Lyla sighs, relieved when she sees Ary's eyes open. "Welcome back, sleepyhead," she teases
She smiled, " I didn't want to sleep. Didn't have a choice "
"Well it's good you got some rest," Lyla tells her.
She got up. " Why was the nurse trying to catch us ? "
Lyla sighs, not seeing a good enough reason to lie. "She worked for the hunters and wanted some of my blood,"
Lyla shrugs, "Not sure of their reasons."
"I'm not sure. Wait until you, Jacob and Cameron are fully healed and then go after Edlyn again?" she says.((Sorry!!! I fell asleep!!! I'm back now tho))
"I'm fine now, except for my leg," Lyla tells her.
" Good. Is Cameron okay ? Will Edlyn be okay ? Is Jacob okay ? "
"They'll all be fine," Lyla tells her, hoping it's true.
Lyla grabs her wrist. "And what do you think you're doing?"
Lyla looked nervous. ‘The boys have been gone for a while,’ she thinks.
Cameron limped in, sweat beading his face. "Lyla!" He hissed. "Get out of here. NOW."
Lyla looks at him confused but stands up, picking up Aarna. “What’s wrong?” she whispers.
"Jacob, what's happening?" Lyla asks, her eyes worried.
" I don't know. He found some paper with something written on it..... Then the nurse appeared... "
Lyla shakes her head. "I don't want her to get to us."
" The school is the safest place. There are so many Werewolves and Vampires here, she won't be able to touch us. " He looked at her and it seemed like he was asking her Do you think she wants your blood because you are part Fey ?
Lyla has her arm tucked against her protectively. 'I'm scared,' she mouths back.
He nods. But what can they do ? These guys just wouldn't stop hunting them.
"Guys!" Cameron screamed. Everyone had ignored him. "I know what to do!"

Cameron sucked in a breath. "The note read; 'You'll never find me. I'm always one step ahead.' And I think that we should right back, 'You're right. We will meet you at midnight tonight at the entrance. Don't accept and we'll be the ones who'll be one step ahead.'" Cameron looked down. "Is that good? And if you guys wanna write that, I can bring my knives and seemingly go alone. Jacob and Lyla would wait in the bushes to see if something bad happened to me. If anything happens to me, don't rescue me. Go rescue Edlyn. I'll be the distraction."
"No way am I letting you get captured or killed! You're my friend, and I don't do that to my friends!" Lyla exclaims.
