Jacob had come in a while ago and was listening to songs while drawing the view he had seen from the tree branch they were sitting on. His drawings were beautiful.
Lyla knocked on the door, hoping Jacob was still there.
He hears the knock on the door and goes to see who it was. When he sees Lyla there, he smiled and opened the door wider " Come on in ! Is your girls' day out over ? "
Lyla laughs. "Yeah, Zagon and Kelly ran into the forest after we got coffee," she says, "I also missed you too much." She steps inside and looks around.
" Is that so ? " He raised an eyebrow. " I thought you might forget about me in all the excitement " he joked
"Like I could do that," she teases, "I love your dorm."
" You might if you wanted to " he smiled innocently " Thnx, I have no idea how they knew the type of dorm that would suit me "
Lyla shrugs. "Not sure," she says, "and I couldn't forget about you even if I tried."
He smiled " You wanna do something or go somewhere ? " He asked
Lyle shrugs. "I'm a bit tired honestly, but whatever you want is fine with me," she tells him.
" I just wanted to know if you wanted to do something. I'm okay with anything. "
Lyla sighs, "Some people are so exhausting," she tells Jacob, leaning on him.
" Tell me about it." Then he said " On second thoughts, tell me about your time at the café "
"We were talking for a while, that's pretty much it. Oh, I was outside at the entrance for a bit, and I met a nice guy named Cameron," she says.
"Of course not!!!" she says, "no one is. He's just a new friend. Oh yeah, that reminds me. One of my swimming friends wanted to meet you."
" Chill, I'm just teasing you. You look kind of cute when you are surprised by my sudden questions " he smiled
Lyla blushes at his remark, then acknowledges his question. "His name is Matthew," she says, "and he couldn't believe that I have a boyfriend."
" I'll go meet him later." He sat on the bed and gestured for her to sit beside him
Lyla sits beside him and leans on his shoulder.
He smiled and they sat in silence for some time.
Lyla begins to fall asleep, her eyes closing. She sighs happily before letting her exhaustion take over.((I gtg to bed. Good night!!!))
He adjusted his posture a bit and rested his head in here and he too closed his eyes (( Goodnight ! ))
Jacob suddenly heard a howl. An agonizing howl. He quietly slipped out of the dorm and ran out.
((Back!)) Lyla wakes up. "Jacob?" she says. When she realizes he isn't there, she panics.
Lyla stands up and follows his scent to the main entrance.
“Wait Jacob got stabbed?” Cameron got carried in
Lyla nods. "We went to the caves when you were all asleep. Two hunters found us and Jacob got stabbed."
" Yeah, not my favorite part of today " he said coming in behind them. " The sedatives haven't completely worn off yet. " He said gesturing to Aarna who he carried in and laid on his bed. She was asleep.
"Definitely not the highlight," Lyla agrees. She watches Aarna and smiles.
Lyla puts Cameron on the bed and walks over to Jacob, kissing him on the cheek.
“No, I don’t wanna be useless. Tell me to do something and I’ll do it.” Cam said
" I'm gonna go check the entrance. If you wan then you can come " he shrugged
Lyla sighs and sits next to Aarna, brushing the girls hair out of her face.
Lyla lays down next to her. She really wants to go after the boys to make sure they don’t do anything stupid, but she knows she should stay here with Ary.
She holds her sister's hand and mumbles in her sleep, " Hunters "
