Tell me what you think! It's pretty lengthy in description, which can be irksome, but I really liked the story and characters. Especially Buruu.

I'll be reading Climbing the Stairs, which is set in India.

Fay Roberts I just finished A Single Breath by Lucy Clarke for this, set in Tasmania, Australia. It was OK. I found the twists somewhat predictable and that the author wasn't able to build the tension adequately between her "bombshells" but it's only her second novel and she has a good writing style and it was tightly plotted with no holes or gaps in her conclusions. It wasn't bad but I like to think that her next books will be better as she matures as a writer. I'd recommend it as a holiday read.

Jennifer A Tale for the Time Being - Ruth Ozeki.

Partly set in Japan, part in Canada.

I really enjoyed this book, especially the parts set in Japan.
