Months Challenge

So, the Months challenge. Curious? Well the months challenge is like the 12 days of Christmas. You know that song where it goes, "on the first day of Christmas/ my true love sent to me/ A Partridge in a pear tree/ on the second day of Christmas/ my true love sent to me/ two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree/ etc..."? Well, the Months Challenge is similar to that. Each month you will read a book that corresponds to the number of that month. For example: For January, as the 1st month, you will read one book. For February, as the 2nd month, you will read two books. And so on...

However, that's not all.

For each month, we're going to have a theme to spice things up!

SO Here is the list for the challenge:

[ 1 Book ] January - Beginning Month - Time Travel books.
[ 2 Books ] February - Month of Mythology - Books about Mythology
[ 3 Books ] March - Mars' Month - War books/Books featuring a big war.
[ 4 Books ] April - Aphrodite's Month - Romance books {Classified as romance, or strongly features a romance plot}.
[ 5 Books ] May - Maia's Month - Books with flowers on the cover.
[ 6 Books ] June - Juno's Month - Books featuring a marriage?
[ 7 Books ] July - Month of Beauty - Books with beautiful covers.
[ 8 Books ] August - Caesar's Month - I would say books on Ancient Rome, but that might be a little difficult, so the theme for August is Court Books! Books focussing on a royal court.
[ 9 Books ] September - Month of Creatures - Any book focussed on supernatural creatures.
[ 10 Books ] October - Hunter's Moon month - So any book where someone is being hunted in the book.
[ 11 Books ] November - Writer's Month - Books where the main protagonist has an interest in writing/ being a writer/author
[ 12 Books ] December - Month of Christmas, End of Year and Celebrations - Christmas, End of Year, and Celebrating is the main theme ~ so anything that falls into those categories.

[Notes] So we know that for the later months (July - December) it might be more difficult to find the exact number of books that might follow the theme, theme here is the alternative!

[ For The Months where the reading list is 7+ books ] You may read Two or three that fall into the category, and then to fill the rest of the books for the month, you can either follow the theme or select books that are at least published in that month.

So are you up for the challenge?

Just declare that you want to partake in this challenge, and pledge to and make sure to update your progress throughout the year. This challenge starts once you declare your acceptance and ends January 1st, 2016. Remember so long as the book fulfils the requirement of the month, anything goes!
