Did Not Finish and rating books

I wish the star rating system had a sixth option of ‘Did Not Finish’ in addition to the choice of 1-5 stars. I don’t think we should be encouraged to rate a book that we did not finish. Sometimes books don’t make sense until read in their entirety and if you abandon it half way though you have an incomplete picture. I don’t want to rate a book that I did not finish with a star rating, and I don’t think others should either.
