Name: Titania Xantho

Personality (5+ sentence): Titania is very goofy. She loves joking around, but is also very defensive. She doesn't get attached easily, but when she does, you see her funny side. But, she is suicidal. This is because in her town, she was harassed for being a gorgon (more on that later). Titania's name means fairy queen, and her last name means golden-haired sea-nymph. But her name is very deceiving. She is a Gorgon and with a flick of her mouth, you can be seriously injured, so don't get on her bad side.

History (5+ sentence): Titania lived in a small town. Everyone would make fun of her for her strange looks. She tried to cover up her snake hair, but always failed. Her parents had died and she was left in this wretched town. She didn't know what she was, but some people said she was a Gorgon. She had no clue what those were, but soon discovered that she had powers. When the bullying had gotten really bad, she looked at one of the boys with such hatred, and he just fell down, withering in pain. Everyone said she was a monster, and banished her from the land. She soon opened up a book that her parents left her. It said that her father was something called a Faerie and her mother was a Gorgon. They had fell in love and had her. She wasn't a Faerie, but had a Faerie name.

Species: Gorgon

Powers (limited to two specific powers, and they cannot be over-powered): Has the ability to inflict massive pain with a kiss or she has her snakes look at people and can make them in pain. Usually, she temporarily blinds her best friends (which they [the snakes] forgive her for) but if she gets mad at you, the snakes are coming out.

Weaknesses (view spoiler): When she uses her powers on someone, she sleeps for 3 days straight afterwards.

Likes: Singing, Playing Tennis, Swimming

Personality (5+ sentences): Lilya is ruthless. If you get on her bad side, you won't hear the end of it. Or see the end of it. Or you might not be alive. Lilya is known for making enemies. But those enemies will regret talking to here in the first place. Lilya can make friends, but if she does she gets super close to them.

History (5+ sentences): Lilya was born from a line of goddesses. Her mother was a divine being. But Lilya has anger issues, and tended to let it out on innocent people. Her mother saw the rage in her eyes and decided to give her the gift of revenge. Lilya sees it as a curse. But she does get to let her rage out. So she's happy with that.

Species: Goddess of Revenge

Powers (limited to two specific powers, and they cannot be over-powered): The person who hurt the victim will get the same treatment as they gave others. After that, she can't control them anymore.

Weaknesses (view spoiler): She can't use her power for 1 week if she uses it.

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: waist-length black hair that fades to purple at the ends, eyes that shift from violet to silver when she uses her powers, bronze skin, tall and lithe.

Personality: extremely witty and clever, loves studying and philosophy, always has a response to anything, enjoys getting into debates but not arguments (although she almost always wins them anyway), fierce and doesn't like backing down, strong reasoning and can be annoyingly sassy with her responses; good at lying and deceptions and can be extremely manipulative

History: grew up in a large city, but was always singled out at her academy because of her exceeding wit and the weird occurences that always happened around her; her parents distanced themselves from her, and she was always alone wherever she went; this led to her being deceptively charismatic and manipulative, partly due to her bitterness toward others but also because she hoped she could really make friends

Species: Goddess of Wisdom

Powers: knowledge manipulation; can absorb knowledge from a specific subject and can impart it to others by touch; she can easily absorb all of the information from a book and once went through the whole floor of a library before collapsing; she imparted fake information about herself to her old "friends" as manipulation

Weaknesses: gets extremely fatigued and physically suffers when she expends too much power, and suffers stomacaches and headaches; personality-wise, she has trust issues and is afraid of being emotionally alone, and when she loses her patience then her temper is explosive

Likes: magic, experimentation, winning, learning as much as she can, chocolate, secrets, symbolism, music, exploring and finding out new information in all areas she can find

Dislikes: losing, being restrained, being isolated, loneliness, fear, being overpowered, overexpending her magic, being stuck on something

Trivia: has a pet panther named Chyra who sometimes spies for her is very loyal and is one of her closest companions.
She is pansexual.
She is very sensitive/bitter about her past and family and wants to have a fresh start at the Institution.

Personality :She is friendly and is a person who would always support her friends and family. She would always help a person in need. Her reasoning skills are great and she is really good at deception. She is protective towards her friends and family and is always there for them. Anyone who dares to mess with them will have to suffer the consequences She can be really sensitive at times and may need someone who will listen to her problems and try to understand them. She can be really stubborn at times. She might try to prove herself which can result in a few problems
History: She was the youngest in her family and was often underestimated. She hated this which resulted in her tendancy to try and prove herself. Her dad was one of the few people who believed in her. He trained her in martial arts and fighting with weapons even though everyone else said that a girl shouldn't be doing this. Even though she trained alot, hand to hand combat didn't come that easily to her. He was the only one who actually believed in her so she has always been trying to make him proud.

Powers: Ability to freeze, slow or fast forward time.
Weaknesses: She isn't that good when it comes to hand to hand combat

He wears a well kept spruce suit with a handkerchief that he flaunts as a pocket square. He keeps himself clean shaven. His hair rises from his forehead naturally without the application of gel. Generally the choice of colour of his tie depends on the circumstances. But he appreciates contrast and symmetry in his clothing and therefore strives to keep the colour of his tie and his jacket similar.

Personality (5+ sentences): He tries to represent the best interests of the people above his own. His personality is of a really protective guy and therefore he takes the necessary measures in his manners to prevent it from surfacing. He considers the potential of people to be strong and better than him in every perspective and therefore believes in the greater good of people.
 

History (5+ sentences): One of his ancestors argued with Augustus De Morgan over the importance of negative numbers in the 19th century. He does not exactly remember his name but he is sure of the name being present in a family tree book hidden in the huge piles of old books his grandfather owns. This event holds a lot of importance in his mind. He therefore believes in the power of education and studies sincerely. And in times like these where wars are egregious and terrible, he believes the strength of the student increases. He just recently realised his role as the God of Sky. He believes in his depth for the position and his ability to fulfill the responsibility this holds.

Species: God of the Sky

Powers (limited to two specific powers, and they cannot be over-powered): He can see the skies very clearly (power of eyesight) and he can control the climate.

Weaknesses: He cannot look at the edge of the universe and despite his ability to look at the stars he cannot see something that is beyond his time. (Basically the speed of light is still 299792458 m/s for him.) He cannot look at miniscule ordinary objects because of relativistic reasons but he can look at the stars very clearly. He has never controlled the climate before and therefore is very inexperienced in it.

Likes: Studying, Chess, And a little bit of Gardening

Dislikes: Tests, Good people acting badly

Enver is fairly tall and muscular; tanned skin; aqua colored eyes. He dresses casually, often wearing jeans and a simple t-shirt.

Personality (5+ sentences): Enver is a little bit of a “bad boy.” He doesn't like be told what to do. His past caused him a become tough as nails and gave him an awful temper. He prefers not to talk about his past and can close up easily. He treats the people he cares about incredibly, but this isn’t a large number of people. It takes a lot for him to trust someone completely, and normally comes off as a bit cold when you meet him. He keeps a fierce and rebel-like facade. Over time, this “disguise” has grown on him and has become who he is now. Enver is snarky, moody, and arrogant at times, and often finds himself in dangerous situations. He may soften a bit around certain people, but this is rare. He is also very impulsive and rushes right into danger. The ocean makes him feel calm, so he generally heads there to cool his temper.

History (5+ sentences): Enver didn't learn about his role as a god until he was eight years old. He was adopted as a baby after being found on the orphange's doorstep one morning. At first, his parents were loving and caring, but after Enver found out about his powers, his mother became very abusive. She was terrified of him and what he was and very jealous. As a result of this, he formed a close relationship with his father, who taught him fighting and martial arts skills to protect against his mother if he ever needed to. Enver's powers became stronger as he got older. A few days before recieving his invitation to the school, his mother was killed accidentally by his powers.

Species: God of the Ocean

Powers (limited to two specific powers, and they cannot be over-powered): Can manipulate/create water, powering and channeling it to do as he pleases. He can breathe underwater.

Weaknesses: The greater amount of water he tries to create or move around, the quicker he tires out. If he attempts to do too much with his powers, he will faint and become very weak afterward.

Likes: The ocean, coffee, cookies, exercising/working out, music

Dislikes: People controling/telling him what to do, feeling helpless, rules, school

Trivia (pets, sexuality, twins, etc.): Straight, no siblings, no pets

I think he is mainly fine too, except for his personality in that they don't seem to meld very well together. He wants to have fun, yet he is cold. He is arrogant and snarky and moody and is also tempremental but he would suddenly be a lot of fun later when we know him? I think we need more on the circumstances when he is a specific personality, that seems a bit more complimentary. Do you get me? Sorry if I don't make the most sense T-T

Personality)) Seems mysterious at first and quiet until you get to know her. Reckless at times but kind at heart. She can be very competitive and irresponsible, which is usually what gets her into a lot of trouble. She may roughhouse a lot but means well. She is understanding, loyal, and sees the best in people. Lynn is sometimes snarky when she gets mood swings but almost always apologizes after.

History)) The very earliest she can remember was her lying in a hospital. She cant remember anything and is about 3 years old. She wanders around, and after a while it turned out she was at a blood hospital, but got left behind. Behind? Her mind automatically thought of an orphanage, and she quickly sought refuge on the streets, playing on peoples emotions to take in a poor little, sickly looking 4 year old for the night while her 'parents were out on an errand and forgot a babysitter'. Around 8 years old, it had stopped working because she feared she would be found lying so she started relying on the wild. At 13, she cheated her way in to school and stopped lying so much, afraid to get caught. She mastered her powers at night and went to school by day. She found a book on gods and goddesses along with a invitation to this place a little while into her school years.

Powers)) As Goddess of nature, she can call upon the earth and channel it however she would want, like use vines to grow and trap someone, or lift boulders to throw at something. Lynn also has healing abilities. Technically, she uses the life energy in the air to heal it.

Weaknesses)) If she uses a large amount of energy too much too soon, her body weakens quickly, like you would feel after losing a long, tiring, fight with someone.

Likes)) Likes to do art, swim, plot

Dislikes)) Deathly afraid of needles, and hates mosquitos

His skin turns a pale green whenever he is using even the littlest of his powers.

Personality: Cayenne, in contrary to his name, is sweet and kind, and usually goes out of his way to help others. He is pretty shy, and doesn't really like to open up unless someone probes him to do so. He is not very vocal with strangers, but with people that he knows, Cayenne will be more comfortable and outspoken. He is also humble, and rarely brags about his powers to anyone, hardly using it unless someone asks him to - in which case, he doesn't reject them because he would therefore feel bad. Cayenne only gets angry when he sees injustice, but even then he won't confront anyone directly, and will try his best to help sort the problems out in a relatively passive manner.

History: Born on a full moon with his twin sister, his parents discovered that they were fraternal twins by looks, and by powers - as they radiated different forms of energy from the time they were born. As a Earth male-nymph, Cayenne was always someone whom the family looked upon for their future. They had hoped that he would join the Dryad battalion one day, and while he did enlist eventually, the boy absolutely hated it. He hated the stringent rules, the ferocity of the older Dryads and how they treated him and other young nymphs like they were leeches and worthless. His introverted personality forced him to quit the battalion, and he returned home dejected. Inspired by his sister's ridiculous and seemingly endless positive vibes, he decided to start a small centre for younger nymphs, male and female alike, to guide them with their powers with the Earth. He wasn't the most powerful, but he had the kindest heart and most patient soul to teach them. Cayenne returned home one day to find the letter of offer to the Celestial Institution, and hoped that by enrolling, he would refine his powers and skills, and help even more nymphs out there.

Species: Dryad

Powers: Cayenne has the power to control and manipulate plants and vegetation, and is extremely sensitive and knowledgeable as to what plants are useful for any purpose, most frequently, healing or cooking using spices.

Weaknesses: He can operate most of his powers during day time, but when evening hits and the sun goes down, he starts feeling more drained; just like plants that relies on photosynthesis to rejuvenate. He is the weakest at night, when the sun cannot be seen, which justifies his natural aversion towards the dark.

Likes: Cayenne likes the basking in, and just generally the sun, being surrounded by the scent of trees and nature, music, the colour teal, drinking hot tea; and many more

Dislikes: He dislikes certain personalities that are arrogant, entitled, clingy, and for more tangible things - coriander, environmental pollution, the darkness

Personality: Chryseis is someone who values several things- loyalty, happiness and humbleness {which, is what her brother holds dear to his heart too}. Born on the full moon, the was a Naiad, and everyone instantly thought that she would be the milder one, the one with a more calming personality. On the contrary, she is someone who is loud, fun to be around, and witty. She is always optimistic, believing that there will never be a problem that cannot be solved. It takes quite a lot to bring her down, but for the vast majority of the time, she is happy and grounded. This had helped her inspire her brother to start his own center within the woods, as she had felt horrible that he was forced to enlist when she knew for a fact that he would absolutely hate it. Furthermore, Chryseis is extremely loyal, and helps people whom she trusts to the ends of the world. If you are her friend and you earn her trust, then you're in for a treat whenever you encounter a problem. Her loyalty extends to the point of protectiveness over Cayenne, and even though he was technically the first-born by a mere 3 minutes, Chryseis finds herself protecting him from bullies more often than not. She feels that it is very important to always be humble, and to not brag, so you would rarely find her showing off her powers, unless it's necessary in defense.

History: During her formative years, she had grown up to be someone who was confident of who she was, and had a strong belief system. Hence, when he brother was subjected to enlist in the battalion, she had fought hard and long for him not to enter. But Chryseis' father had the final say, and during those years separated from her twin, the girl went to travel around the different oceans around the world, gaining insight and knowledge from the sea creatures. Her parents were appalled at her recklessness, but deep in their hearts, they knew that it was just her coping with the worry for Cayenne, and her wanting to be a free spirit. And a free spirit she was. She honed her powers from engaging with power lessons with the creatures in the sea, learning about the rich deep sea culture and history, and absorbing so much more knowledge before returning to their forest home, and that was when a dejected Cayenne appeared before Chryseis. The nymph helped her brother, pushing him to use his powers for good, helping him to set up the center and sourcing for young nymphs to enroll. This went on for about two years before she saw the letter for Cayenne and herself on the table at home, and wanted to join the Institution to meet even more variation of species', and what they did, in hopes of further developing her power.

Species: Naiad

Powers: Chryseis is firstly able to manipulate the different stages of water - creating vapour, freezing, and heating water up. Secondly, she is also able to understand aquatic animals, a skill that she had honed whilst travelling around the world's greatest and deepest ocean.

Weaknesses: The Naiad can only use her powers when she is near a large, big, water source. Even though the air around her is water vapour, unless she tries extremely hard, in which it will cause her to faint, Chryseis still has to have access to other forms of water that can be seen. After she has used her powers, it would decrease exponentially within a 6 hour frame; so much like her brother, she can basically fully utilise her powers in the first half of the day

Likes: Romance novels, water, aquatic animals, the vast ocean, food; no seafood though!

Dislikes: Disloyal and dishonest people, individuals who bully, seafood, being in dry places like the desert.

History (5+ sentences): Pixie is a Siren that was blessed with a beautiful singing voice She loved how merpeople would stop to her her sing. Her king heard about her voice and told her he had a special task for her. Sent to the Surface, she was to sing Sailors to their death. But her first night, she couldn't do it. The king's anger was wrought against her, sending her into hiding. Having received a letter from the Celestial Institution, she felt she could be protected and made her way there.
Species: Siren

Appearance: Amar has olive skin, two moles on his left cheek and one above his right eyebrow. His hair is short and curly, a light blonde that’s on the cusp of white. His eyes are a deep brown. He has white wings that are more often then not tucked to his body and hidden by a jacket. He’s of medium height and build.
Personality: Amar is annoyed very easily, and tends to ignore people instead of yelling at them. Since basically everyone is annoying to him, he’s often silent, keeping to himself. He is antisocial at the school, but if you ever find him at his favorite place, he might be more inviting. He does well enough in school, answering questions when needed, but never does more than he has to. No extra curriculars, or sports.
History: Amar grew up in a town consisting of cupids. As soon as he could hold a bow, he learned how to use one. His family believes their only duty is to match other people, but Amar disagreed. They all thought he would grow into his job but he never did. Not because he was going through his rebellious phase, but because he doesn’t understand love. He doesn’t know what it means to love someone, or be loved. He knows his family loves him, but he just can’t feel it. As soon as he could leave his town, after months of trying to convince his parents, he left and went to The Celestial Institution.
Species: Cupid
Powers: Amar can fly exceptionally well, and knows how to shoot love-filled arrows; though he hardly does.
Weaknesses: If he flies for too long, or in too strenuous conditions, he gets extremely sore, and sometimes just can’t leave his bed out of pain.
Likes: The quiet, reading, board games, volleyball though he isnt on any team, and gardening.
Dislikes: himself (in terms of being a cupid), love, repetitive noises, most people.
Trivia: Has never dated anyone, kissed, etc. He doesn’t know his sexuality, is the middle child out of four others, and used to tend to the garden in his childhood home.

Appearance: Dorian has long brown messy hair that reaches halfway down his back and is normally tied back in a low ponytail. He has pale skin, with bags under his eyes. He’s of small build and below 5’5. His eyes are a cloudy blue-grey. He normally dresses in comfortable clothes, and wears wireframed glasses that are slightly crooked.
Personality: Dorian normally has a bubbly personality unless he’s tired, which is usual. It dulls him down slightly, but he still sports a smile if he’s not too sleepy. He enjoys calm activities, but does work out slightly to keep him awake when needed. He isn’t a huge talker, but is always polite and there when someone needs someone to talk to or a shoulder to sleep on. He’s very kind, and most find it easy to like him.
History: Dorian found his God powers fairly recent, compared to others. He fell into a coma at age 15 after hitting his head on sharp rocks in a river with a fast current. When he woke, he found out after his prolonged ‘sleep’ he had gathered enough to gift it to others. He hid them from his parents, but one day a sudden outburst occurred when his family had guests over and they all immediately fell asleep. Soon after that a letter from the Celestial Academy arrived at his front door.
Species: God of Sleep
Powers: He can grant things sleep, or rest, which isn’t just limited to other beings sleep. Animals, insects, etcetera.
Weaknesses: This gift of rest doesn’t come from anywhere, it comes from him. He’s constantly tired after helping someone out, and needs to sleep longer than the average human to be able to function.
Likes: Sleeping, bubble baths, theatre, helping others out.
Dislikes: Those who care only of themselves, any activities that could be considered dangerous, sleepovers.
Trivia: He’s gay, has no siblings, and writes his own plays! Though they never get produced. He’s ambidextrous and allergic to pollen. He also doesn’t enjoy swimming after the incident.

I don't mean to sound rude, condescending or mean by the way ;( It's just some feedback and how you can work on her + in other groups that you join next time! now here are my comments:

All right, it's slightly better, but a few things that you need to change~

1. With regards to her history, let's anaylse it together. So this is what you wrote: "One morning, when Emily went to the post office, the man over there said that she had received a letter. She never received any letters. She brought the letter home, and opened them as quickly as possible. She then left to this mysterious place, during the night, so that her "Parents" and her sister wouldn't know about it....." ;

My questions: I'm not sure I understand what you mean by she didn't receive a letter, but later brought it home. And, her "parents" are foster parents, right? :o Why does she have to secretly leave for the institution? And most importantly, how are her powers related to her history?

2. Her personality- why does she hate rainbows, or bright colours? And why is her love for animals specifically mammals, since reptiles like crocodiles, snakes, are also animals. So does her "sacrificing anything" refer to the reptiles too?

3. Her powers - I like that your power and weaknesses complement each other, and aren't overpowered, so that's awesome. But maybe you could add one more power related to the moon? Like invisibility and moon doesn't seem to be matchy matchy

1. Could you try to not use ellipsis like "....."; because it's quite difficult to read + try to punctuate properly? For example, I spot a comma and full stop next to each other, and that doesn't work :/

I think he is generally fine, except for the part on history, where I some changes needs to be made. So according to our welcome letter, the school actually "scouts" celestials, which basically means that they personally invite them through a letter; so it probably won't be them asking around until they find someone who knows about celestials! You could afford to be slightly more detailed, like why and how did he fall into a coma etc. :)

Nice way of him finding out his powers though, and good weakness! :)

Appearance: gorgon form: slender, bicep-length, reddish-black cobras as hair, with gold bands around their necks (they look kind of like braids); pale-gold skin; slanted, slit-pupiled snake eyes the color of imperial topaz; normal human top down to the waist, where her torso shifts into the tail half of a king cobra; overall she's about six feet long; human form: she has normal human legs, and is about five foot four; if she shifts when she's not wearing anything, she is automatically covered in a scaled jumpsuit, but if she has clothes on, her legs are pretty much normal

Personality: she's very closed off and is not prone to talking with others; extremely, viciously intelligent and quiet; she's very honest and clever and can be stealthy if she tries to be; she's scarily observant and can attack without warning, though she only attacks when provoked; she is generally quiet and cold but if she gets mad, she is deadly (not literally of course)

History: she grew up in a small, close-knit town where everyone knew everyone else; this led to her being very quiet and shut off because she didn't want everyone to know her secrets; her community was very accepting and mixed species, but this generally led to more gossip and rumors, so she buried herself in studying and kept herself quiet so that she wouldn't draw attention to herself; her family was small and one of the few gorgon families in the town, and they tried to remain private; when she got the letter for the academy, she almost immediately decided to go, and her parents agreed with that decision, because they all felt that their town didn't allow much privacy.

Species: Gorgon

Powers: her snakes and eyes are venomous, and her venom can either drug someone (inducing euphoria or sleep, kind of like the effects of opium) or paralyze them; she can also shift between her Gorgon and human forms; the Gorgon form provides a lot more speed and stealth; she doesn't like using her venom much but she will use it if provoked/in self-defense; she shifts in and out of her Gorgon form depending on what she's doing; she likes studying and sleeping in human form because it's harder to do so with a snake tail, but she finds it easier to move around in snake form

Weaknesses: shifting takes a lot of energy and concentration, and if she shifts back and forth too frequently, it causes fatigue and pain; if she uses her venom, she collapses for at least six hours depending on the potency and what she used it for

Likes: quiet, studying, privacy, being alone, analysis and observations, snakes, drawing, puzzles, security

Dislikes: being spied on, loud or obnoxious people, nosy people, invasion on her personal space, feeling dumb, being provoked
