As Bill pointed out in the previous section, at least it wasn't Yurl. Close, but at least he is not the mastermind... I like the way all the murders were connected as the well of power for the emotion leach.
Yeah that all came together nicely.I feel like the plot against the emperor and family is bigger than just the priest. Adiv seems shifty and for some reason I don't buy into il Tornja. The whole dinner conversation just didn't feel right.
Who are the merchants? Who is tan? Why does every fantasy series have a tan?
I agree, Adiv seems extremely shifty. And really, why in the WORLD weren't Ketterals (however you spell it) sent to Kaden as soon as the Emperor was killed. That makes absolutely no sense to me that they didn't send a quick, elite fighting force to him.I do like how the murders were tied together in a subtle way.
i guess the Kettral are independent enough that they don't really care who sits on the throne. Also unless they knew there was a plot why would they need to defend the new emperor.
Ah that could be it. Plus, that would have been like the Eagles flying Frodo all the way to Mordor - the Kettrals coming in to pick up Kaden right after the death of the Emperor would have made the book much shorter :).
So finally all the murders are converging, also I have an idea regarding the priest who murdered emperor (view spoiler)I seem only to remember few names as they are just to hard to pronounce.
