Why is my BR in this folder?

I've seen some confusion in the past year about Standalone BRs...
Is the folder just for BRs of Standalones (non-series/trilogy books)?...
Or Standalone BRs (BRs for the first, last, or any book in-between, in a series, with no commitment to read the rest)?...
Or both?...

Both, but more the second one. It's the buddy read itself that's the stand-alone, not the title. From our end of things, it's anything that doesn't justify creating a separate folder for. If a first in series BR goes well and more books are scheduled, that's when we create an author folder.

This folder will contain:
-true stand-alone titles
-1st in series - any that doesn't have the entire series scheduled out (if later people want to continue on with any given series and present a schedule, then we will create a separate folder.)
-random titles. Where it doesn't feel like it justifies an entire folder. Like if you want a read for book 7 in a series (New Releases have their own folders).
Hope that makes sense. If you find you're having trouble locating your reads, I suggest using the "search" box in the upper right area of the group page (desktop). Or a send out a plea for help - the members in our group are always so kind at answering questions.
Thanks for your understanding as we adjust things to accommodate a growing group! :)
