So, on and off for the past couple weeks, I've been listening to the audiobook version of this. I feel like I'm already learning so much, but I'm waiting for the e-book to be available with my library because I think that will be a much better way to absorb the information.

The book has given me what feels like a million other things to research!

While, at times, I felt these readings were repetitive, I still felt like I learned a lot from this collection, especially regarding prison abolition. I was actually a TA for a psychology of women course at a women's prison. I worked directly with women who were in there for a variety of reasons, and I'm thinking of all the ways the system fails them, including how they're set up for failure when/if they are released.
