she rushed to his side and offered a hand
"I don't think we can go anywhere with Ben hurt like this," Penny says. "Let's scavange around, there may be no weapons here but we can surely turn something into a weapon." She clutches her broom tightly, like she's afraid it will fall apart, which is not a completely ridiculous fear, given what happened to Adria.
"oh no!" Adria moaned and looked at Ben's leg again, "why didn't you tell me it was this bad" she asked, annoyed and worried, "look, all we can do is wait for medicine that's it"
Ben looked at Adria. "What happened to Adria?" He asked, hiding his leg
Adria shot him a glare that said, 'shut up, and show me your leg'
He sighed and looked at his leg. It looked infected
she stifled a gasped and took a deep, slow, long, breath, "I'm sorry, there is nothing I can do, just hope we have sponsors"
Penny winced and turned away, heading into the school to look for things to be used for weapons. She still clutched her broom.
"None of us here are exactly nice to the Capitol. I doubt we have sponsors" he said
She found a classroom where the desks were still mostly intact and pulled a leg off one of them, testing its weight, all while hoping--begging that they had sponsors to help Ben.
Adria nodded and looked away, she was trained in almost everything, just not how to take pain, especially when it was happening to someone she loved
Penny pulled a few more legs off desks, not ready to go back yet and see how awful Ben's cut was.
Penny returns when Ben is asleep, averting her eyes from his awful cut. She places the desk legs on a table and then practices with one, testing its weight and wondering how it will hold in a fight.
Adria curls up in corner and closes her eyes
Penny decides to keep watch, glancing at Ben worriedly. How would they save them?
Penny continues practicing with the desk leg, swishing it in the air and lunging towards an unseen enemy.
Penny looks at him then leans down. "Ben are you trying to say something?"
His words become clearer. "Dead dead dead."
"Ben?" Penny becomes seriously concerned. "What are you talking about???"
He doesn't open his eyes, just keeps mumbling "dead"
"BEN!" Penny shakes her. "What are you talking about?"
"Dead." He said, then suddenly stopped
Penny jumps at the sound of Adria falling and runs over, glancing back at Ben as she helps Adria.
Penny glanced back at Ben's sudden silence. "BEN?!" she cries, extremely worried. "Adria, Ben...I don't know what's wrong with him."
Penny ran back over to Ben and felt his pulse.
Penny sighed in relief and wiped the sweat off his forehead, feeling to see if he had a fever.
Penny groaned. "What are we going to do?" she asks the sky. "How do we save you?"
"Ben!" Penny exclains. "You have a fever and...I don't know what to do!"
"No, you arent," she responds
"What are we gonna do?" she asks, partly to herself.
