((Really there is no reason for the game to hurry up and finish up at this point since Hg 8 has already started........Unless you want to do three games now.))
Erika squints her eyes and her tears suddenly stop. The girl....she was in so much pain....no, she could not think like that. She was a Career right now, And she had to do this for John. "I'm Erika?" she whispers, confused.
"Which district?" Enhildabrigid asks, her voice becoming a whisper.
"4," she replies, realizing how shaky her voice was. She tries to make it steady again. "You're from...." Why was she asking these questions??
"District 8." she replies. "I know we've both lost friends, and for those of us who died our families and friends have lost us. So I want you to remember, when you get home, just how fortunate both you and your family was. Even with twelve other children and thirteen grandchildren, by parents, I know, will still miss me. If you don't have any family at home, you should make family." She smiles at Erika and then laughs softly. "and yet, sometimes its nice just to be alone for a little." She closes her eyes, a smile still on her lips as she draws her final breath. A cannon fires a loud shot that shatters the silence, the last cannon fire of Hunger Games Six.
Erika heaves out a breath she didn't know she was holding. "Oh my gosh...I won," she whispers. It made her happy, that she won for John. But she killed someone?? She tries to grin and whispers, "Don't worry, your family will remember you. For all you've done. Girlie." She lets a tear run down her cheek and thinks of John. And her best friend, Kendric Morris.
