[[Continued]]Ashlyn curls up into his lap and falls asleep quickly, breathing deeply, almost as if she were purring.
Derek watched her fall asleep, he wanted to protect her from all the danger out in the world.
She slept peacefully, occasionally shifting and burying her face into his chest.
Derek hugged her closer to her chest. He felt an urge to kiss her on the cheek. He felt himself falling asleep.
Ashlyn snuggled into him and woke only for a few moments to pull the blanket over them both.
Derek twitched in his sleep and pulled teh blanket closer to him.
Ash sighed and continued to sleep, completely exhausted, but woke a few hours later, sliding out of his lap and out of the bed as she whiled her sweaty forehead with her sleeve.
Derek let out a soft moan and squinted his eyes." How are you?"
She shrugged and yawned, "Still tired." She replied and pulled her thick hair into a bun to keep it off her neck;
" I think the party is dead, it's safe to go>" Derek said and got up.
Ashlyn shrugged slightly, "I don't know, I prefer not to walk through someone else's house when nobody else is here. On the bright side I can tell everyone I actually slept with a guy for the first time." She said half jokingly, her eyes drooping as she stretched.
Derek arched an eyebrow and whistled." Your first time..." he was a little shock, a girl like her, has never ever slept with a guy before?
Ash sighed, "Like I said, I can take care of myself." She said sleepily, sitting back down on the bed, eying the spot she had been before curiously, wanting to curl up again, feeling safe but couldn't help but be wary.
Derek rubbed his eyes and shrugged his shrugged his shoulders." Come here and lay down next to me, I miss your body heat." he groaned.
Ash furrowed her eyebrows and flushed deeply, but gingerly slid over and layed next to him slowly, facing him as she eased herself under the blankets, looking at him curiously.
Derek ignored her stare and snuggled closer to her." COme on, close your eyes."
Ash clenched her teeth. "Don't you dare try anything." She warned but slowly closed her eyes, shivering slightly as she slid into his arms.
