I don't have a routine I am all over the place lolSometimes I can read all day. Other times I read late at night only. Other times I can wake up at 5am and read for two hours. I'm crazy.
My ideal reading situation is reading at the beach with a drink by myself.
I have a routine for everything! I read during my lunch breaks, usually whatever is my "main" read at the moment or whatever I'm trying to finish. Then I read before bed a little of a darker or horror novel and then switch to something lighter before going to bed. Then I read in pockets throughout the day, especially if I have to wait for something like a doctor's appointment.
I have somewhat of a routine when I can keep to it. I usually have three books going at a time; one hard copy book, audio book, and a digital book. I listen to the audio book when traveling back and forth to work and read the digital book during my breaks at work depending on my work load. The hard copy book is for the weekends when I have a little down time when the grandkids are calm which is usually after breakfast on Saturdays when my husband and I put on a movie for them. Of course, there are those days when nothing goes as planned which is often. 😂
I have a one year old, so I squeeze in books when I can. Although I LOVE to read a physical book, ebook is easier on my phone to read between the neediness. At night, after his bedtime, I typically read a physical book. Also when I’m in the car or cleaning I listen to an audiobook. So I typically have three books going at a time, but no set schedule.
No real routine here. I do try and read before bed. It’s nice to end my day with a good book. I have also started doing audio books which I like cause I can listen to them while I clean.
I don't necessarily have a routine ... but I am never without a book. I carry whatever physical or ebook I'm reading in my purse at all time in case I have time at an appointment or waiting for friends ... and I read that on my lunch break and in the evenings and always in bed before I turn off the lights. I listen to audiobooks as well now, so I always have that available for when I'm at work, cleaning, driving, going for a walk or working out. So I blow through a lot of books because I always make sure I have something available if I have 5 minutes of downtime to read a physical book or no brainpower activity for an audio.
I don't have a routine now that I have a baby at home, but I used to just put on the tea kettle and get a snack to cozy up on the couch with a good book. I am a graduate teaching assistant (English literature masters candidate). I have to read many books at once. This will be my first time actually completing the Paper & Glam Book Club selection in the correct month!
I have a reading routine depending on the book format! If it is an audiobook, I listen as I clean, cook, walk, and do other chores. If I am really in to the book, I will also listen as I get ready for the day, but I typically take that time to catch up on Bravo shows (guilty pleasure!). For books that I am reading in book format, I typically read only before bedtime, but if it's a page turner, I will read on the couch during quiet time after dinner with my husband.

Today's question comes at you after many hours of binge watching Booktube.
Do you have a reading routine that you follow and/or describe your ideal reading situation.
