I didn't do much reading last night or today. We had friends over last night and we played Cards Against Humanity until 1 am. Then today we went out for breakfast and over my in-laws so hubby could mow their lawn. I'll be alone at the office tomorrow so can listen to an audio book if the phone isn't ringing too much.

I need to look at what I have on the spreadsheet and what I have checked out. I might remove Out of this World. Almost done with Pale Rider.

I finished a book that works for A and O and P. Apologies for not reading as much. I had my anxiety get really bad a couple of weeks ago and am dealing with furlough days and filing for unemployment for this month.

Does anyone know how to adjust the page count in the update area? The page count on The Last Ever After page is showing correctly at 655, but the update area is only showing 600.

I know this isn't Hobbit related, just being thrown off when I update my reading progress. :)

I will definitely finish the three books that I've marked on the SS and that are listed in msg #756, but no more before the end of this round.

We're back home for at least a couple of days, had to change our plans again. Glad to have access to the PC, shower and TV, none of which exist at the summer cottage. I haven't had much time to read, when we're at the summer cottage, we spend a lot of time with hubby's relatives (hmph....).

You've put another edition on your shelf, namely this one The Last Ever After, which only has 600 pages. You need to switch editions to The Last Ever After if that's what you're in fact reading.

I feel like I'm getting through my books so slowly this round. If it wasn't for audiobooks I'm not sure if I'd have finished a book yet since I'm still working through my one physical book. I think I need a reading holiday where I just go somewhere by myself to relax and read books

I'm reading 2 at the moment, 1 isn't listed on the SS, but it will work for the S that The Spanish Promise is listed for. I'll try to get both finished if possible. Haven't got as much reading done as I expected to - thought I'd do more with being away this week. (We got our new motorhome yesterday - yay!) But I've been spending more time on a game so I can reach another maximum level before my fiance. I'm very competitive... lol

@Cassie - I saw that your book The Unbroken doesn't have a page count on Goodreads and guessing you got the 293 pgs you listed in the SS from amazon?

If you could confirm perhaps one of our many librarians can update the GR page. If not I can get one of the librarians in the captains group to do so.

I know the feeling! I don't know why it took me so long to read Written in Red because I really enjoyed it. But I wasn't breezing through it. I haven't really been dedicating any "reading time" in the evenings so mostly I listen to audiobooks during walks and throughout the day.

I've just looked at the other edition on the GR page and it has 293p (the kindle edition) so I'm happy to use that as the default p count.

Every so often I have a book like that. I'm enjoying them but I just seem to get stuck when it comes to making time to actually read them.

Sophie - we've had a motorhome since 2015. We were meant to trade in our last one & collect this one in March but lockdown was announced the evening before we were due to go over to England for it. We finally managed to get over this week! Dunno if you've ever used one before but they're great, I'd recommend it. We hired one the year before we bought our first which is a good idea to see if it's for you or not.

Vikki- glad you were able to pick it up eventually! I haven't used one before, will look into hiring one (but don't want to overexcite husband about it until I've thought through whether it's sensible with 2 small children)
