I should have 2 more books finished this week. At the beach this weekend but it's been rainy so lots of reading time and it's a 4h drive of uninterrupted reading time :)
I finished a couple more but I’m too tired to get my laptop out. I’ll update them tomorrow. One is a Z book.

the U book on I have on the spreadsheet disappeared from my library loans. I didn't think I had missed the return by date. I have another one.
I currently have three books on the SS that I'm reading and will finish by Wednesday. Let me know if there is a specific letter that needs to be read for, I can fit in a short book, otherwise I'll start longer books that will be completed during the next round.

Camilla - we've got 3 spaces for Us waiting in current otherwise completed spell outs and 2 more in the next one we are starting. If everything on the planning sheet gets completed we should be ok for other letter

Okay, I'll start a short U book just in case. It's an anthology, those are usually good for many letters, so if it isn't needed on Friday I'll just complete it next week.

I read a short Q book last night Started a U book that works for a couple of other letters.
Do we still need more Z's or are they enough done that haven't made it to the spreadsheet? Wondering if I should read a couple of U books or a U and a Z?
I’ve just finished a U book. Not sure if I’ll get a Q book I’d planned read by deadline, especially as I’m not feeling so inspired for it at the moment. Are we doing ok with Q books?
I think we'll be gated by Z books before Q books. :)
The letter we need the most is U followed by Q and Z as the next most difficult ones. But we're actually doing pretty well. I'm obsessively reading the Psy-Changling series which has a couple of Z characters and will probably get a couple more books in before the end of the week
Also, don't worry if you're falling behind your weekly book count, I'm definitely going to pass mine as I'm flying through the series.
Most books tend to work for more than one letter. I know I won't be upset if I read a Q,U or Z book and you end using it for something else. An X book might be a different story. Those are really hard.

Who is currently reading Under Pressure? The tracking SS just freaked out on me and I accidentally overwrote the name of whose reading it. (It also mysteriously changed the name of the book while keeping it linked to the old one, I've no idea how it happened. )

Please select which task you want a book to be used for. There are a few which have been marked as read with empty spaces. I don't want to guess where they will fit or use up easy tasks when they got work for the more tricky ones. These are easy points I don't want to miss out on.
If you could put a brief description of the task in, that would be a lovely time saving bonus for me!
Check-in on Friday - please finish your books by 2 hours before this countdown clock which will give Victoria and I time to check everything and transfer it over. Anything finished after the timer will count for the next round. Please don't finish anything in that 2 hour window!
I'm reading Under Pressure in place of under the harrow. But I also have another U book to add to the spreadsheet. Under the Harrow was the one that mysteriously disappeared from my library check outs. Now it's wait listed. It was slow today so I've been reading an ebook on my phone.

I fixed my listing of Under Pressure to add my name.
Wasn't there a couple of players who said they couldn't really do the task part because they were working from phones or something? I would say if time is running out and they haven't put a task in then use whatever one is obvious for the 5 extra points. But I'll be happy to do some investigating on those to help someone who can't do it themselves for some reason.

Let me know if there's any books you want help with task matching. I'll probably finish one of my U books tonight and the other tomorrow. Then I'll see what we are in need of more. I didn't like the Q book I read so I don't want to read more of that series. But I can squeeze in a Julia Quinn book as needed or find something.

I am wondering whether I should put Something Wicked This Way Comes aside for a few days and not complete it during this round. It looks like it only works for B and G in our current task. Let me know, I can do either way. I'll definitely be finishing two U books (Unnatural Disasters was missing from the list on msg #522).

I have updated the spreadsheet - Untamed is finished. Adding it to my shelf directly.
I am also keeping track of my task assignments on the main tab AND in the task tab. Please let me know if I need to go elsewhere with it.
I can't promise any others than the ones I have listed for right now - but I can promise that those will be done. Nash is a reread and available audio for me. A Good Neighborhood is more finished than my progress suggests, it's just downstairs and I am too lazy to go grab it right now. :)

Tonya, we have enough tags for this first leg already, so no need to stress about them. But it's anywhere in the tag list (but you can't add your own tag and count that one).

If you are talking about the cover color tasks, books don't usually have to be tagged or shelved that color.
I want to say thanks for the task tracking spreadsheet. Very handy for seeing what I've used already. Kind of disappointed that we have no hard letters. We get bonus points for those don't we?
