Omg im sorry about that! Got mixed up lol, thanks for fixing that.
I will finish Xanadu tonight. So the 3 I read this week gives us a few choices to move around if you need to. If they aren't needed it is fine I enjoyed them......Starting tomorrow on Round 2.

Okay, thank you! Some is fine and in a story like this, expected. But I wanted to make sure it wasn't a gore-fest. So this is really helpful :)

Hehe, too bad that's not long enough to use for the challenge. Though I think that is a red squirrel not a chipmunk. I'm still trying to find a chipmunk on cover.

Your books are excellent to have as back-fills if someone doesn't finish with all the letters the books work for. Though I think everyone has confirmed they'll be done on time, but life has other ideas sometimes.
We are allowed 1 partial spelling (and can be non-contiguous letters). So even if we don't need them to finish a spelling last minute, we'll still get points for everything you've read.

Judith, sadly all the chipmunk shifter books I found for you are too short:1. Wolf's Sweet Chipmunk
2. Hot on a Chipmunk's Tail series
I found one that might be fun but it is children's and the audio is 4:59 min and 40 secs so no go. -
Hahaha, those are great though. Still not the strangest shifter books we’ve come across.
I keep hoping a chipmunk will pop up on some cozy mystery cover in the background.

Beth, Magical Meditations: Guided Imagery for the Pagan Path is not on your wheel shelf. Can you shelf it so we can use it today?
Beth, also missing completion dates on Harvest Song and The Hallowed Hunt. Can you add it or we cannot use them today?Edited: You have a different version marked as read as on your wheel shelf.

Great job everyone, we finished Round 1 and are in 5th out of 15 teams so that is really good for week 1. Overall, we read 108 books.
We are 2nd for hard letters, great job for all the X's and Y's.
We are 8th on book of the month points. The YA one for June is Five Feet Apart and Judith says it is a very fast read.
Okay, finished a book for the new round- Girl in Translation - "K" for Kwok (authors last name) or "A" for Annette (character). It was 304 pages. Thanks!
Amanda wrote: "Okay, finished a book for the new round- Girl in Translation - "K" for Kwok (authors last name) or "A" for Annette (character). It was 304 pages. Thanks!"Please put it on your wheel shelf and then, I will add it to the SS
Hi All,Please could someone explain MPG's to me. I think I have confused myself when looking at books.
Thank You
Lucy, MPG is just the ones on the main page when you look at a book. For instance, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone has 10 MPGS, including Fantasy, fiction, YA, magic, and children’s. While this romance, Love Her or Lose Her has four MPGs: Romance, Contemporary, Contemporary Romance, and Adult. I changed yours as it only has two MPGS: Thriller and Mystery. The book is tagged suspense but not MPG tagged. This is easier to tell on a computer versus the phone app. Does that help?
Hi LexiActually now you have said about looking in the app it makes it so much clearer I think on the web screen I get confused.
Now I know what I am looking at a lot better
:-)
Lucy, we cannot use characters for non-fiction so your true crime book is not usable this round as we can only use author and title. I’m sorry

Updated spreadsheet
I know there are rules out there for plays but I can never find them.Shakespeare is an example. Page total works but I know there is something about because it is written as all dialogue, the page number has to be higher?
I'm asking because a favorite author Ian Doescher writes retellings of famous movies as if Shakespeare wrote them, Iambic pentameter and all! Ex: William Shakespeare's Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope
They are over 150 pg but never quite make 200 pgs.
Can they be used?

The short answer is no, the book is too short.
The long answer is you check it on amazon Audible to see if the audio is over 5 hours (this one is 3.5) or check arbookfind.com to see if it is over 40,000 words (this one is 28,000).

Just finished another book: 300 دقيقة by تامر إبراهيم, Pages 171, task 5.The book is set in egypt and it could work for the letter I, since the author's name is Tamer Ibrahim.

Sure thing, when you get a chance could you mark it as read and place it on your wheel shelf?
Thank you!

Ok, so which page number total do I use? My Kindle copy says 251 pgs but the HC version says 181 pgs

Shelve the version that you read. If you read kindle then change the edition to what you read.

NP. Just didn't want there to be confusion when someone else reads the same book but has a different page count

Only BOMs have a standard page count but thank you for asking
Hello, dropping in from team Fridge for some recommendations for Fantasy (Epic/High/Dark) and Space Opera. If you have any please?Thank you!
Hey Danielle!
I’d recommend the Faithful and the Fallen series by John Gwynne. It starts with Malice.
And I love Michael Sullivan’s series which start with Theft of Swords and Age of Legend depending on the series.
Sorry for the lack of links but I’m on the app

Hi team! Happy 4th to fellow Americans on the team.Just wanted to check in and give a recommendation. If you're a fan of sci-fi books, I have to highly recommend The Dred Chronicles by Ann Aguirre. I read all three books this week because they were so good I didn't want to pick up anything else. Threw off my entire reading plans for the week, but hey I have a new favorite series now so that's fine.
Hi Team, I am sorry for being AWOL the past week. My son was killed in a motorcycle accident last weekend and I have not been online very much. I have read a lot though, that has been my escape from this nightmare.

I am so sorry to hear that and you are in my prayers. Whatever you need to do to care for yourself and your family, do first. If you just want to shelf your books on your wheel shelf, I can add to them to the SS if that saves you time. (I do it for multiple other team members). Again, holding you all in my prayers.
