Booknblues | 12149 comments I cut hubby's hair and it was really bad. He ended up with bald spots and then he ended up buzzing his own hair.

His hairdresser was ready to set an appointment and he put it off until it was long enough for him to go. He has an appointment set for next week.

I believe AJ and I talked about this once on our Zoom meetup (can't recall if you were there, as another long-haired person). I think it's much easier for us to go a long time between haircuts. I can (and have) gone a full year, in the past.

No reason why I couldn't go longer, really. Split ends, I guess, are the only thing. And my hair is thin, so the longer it gets, the thinner it is at the bottom. But, I still like long.

LOL! My husband has a beard and it is driving him crazy, so I told him I would trim it for him-he just smirked at me and walked away! Most likely fearing the same result as your attempt on your husbands hair. His hair is getting nice and long, just like it was when we married-At 70 years old he is still as blond as a new born babe-I do not want him to cut it, but he does not like looking like an old hippie, go figure!

Actually my dad's 70, he's still got all his hair and it's not grey, but he still keeps it really short. So maybe he's not alone.

That is so exciting Kate! I saw that on the news and on my niece, who lives in NZ, facebook post.

I wish we were somewhere close to that, but we in the US have a long way to go.

And isn't that pitiful, when NZ shut down after we did? I know they are smaller, but it's all about leadership, IMO
