I just released my last book on 21 December. It's called Brane Child, and is about the first experimental attempt to travel faster than light by skipping across membranes of reality. The crew of the first manned test flight is surprised (and stranded) when the ship skips to an alternate reality based on role-playing games and other fantasy adventure stories.
