Honey (honeydaengdej) | 14 comments Hey everyone! My name is Honey and I plan to read at least 40 books this year. I noticed that I haven't been reading as much as I used to so I wanted to create a goal to do more reading. I am not really going to focus too much on how many books I read this year, but more on keeping the balance and not forgetting to do some reading everyday.

Books read:
1. Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins *****
2. Landline by Rainbow Rowell ***
3. We Were Liars by E. Lockhart ****
4. The Whale Rider by Witi Ihimaera **
5. A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen ****

Honey (honeydaengdej) | 14 comments BOOK #1: Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins

Rebel Belle was such a good book to start the year with. It wasn't complicated and messy and I still enjoyed it SO MUCH. I love Harper Price and the book just made me smile(: I can't wait for the second book

Adriana | 3888 comments Rebel Belle was my first book too!!! It felt really somber at the end because of certain situations... I was so sad and intrigued about what's going to happen with Harper and her new dynamic.

Yea, the ending wasn't my most favorite part of the book but I still liked it overall. Whats making me sad now is having to wait for the second book to come out.

Honey (honeydaengdej) | 14 comments BOOK #2: Landline by Rainbow Rowell

I read Landline for the January Challenge (2014 Goodreads choice award winners). I don't usually read contemporary books so maybe thats why I didn't love it that much but overall I liked it (:

Honey (honeydaengdej) | 14 comments BOOK #3: We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

I read We Were Liars for the January Challenge (2014 Goodreads choice award winners). I really like this book but not in the crazy-hopping way. It was just,,, wow.

Honey (honeydaengdej) | 14 comments BOOK #4: The Whale Rider by Witi Ihimaera
BOOK #5: A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen

I read these two books (A Doll's House is a play) for class. I actually read the translated version of The Whale Rider (in Thai language) for my Thai language class and A Doll's House was done in English class.

I didn't really like The Whale Rider that much, if I didn't have to read it for class I probably wouldn't have. However it could just be because I read it in Thai, and I like reading in English more.

A Doll's House was fun and I really like analyzing the play a lot.
