Depends on the storyline. Normally either 17 or 18 though.

Personality: Nice once you get to know her, but very closed off and cold if she doesn't know you. But, if she considers you a friend, she'll gladly lay down her life for you.
Um, it doesn't matter to me... Whatever you want to do?
Kira raced into the forest, tears in her eyes. She quickly wiped the tears away. This was no time to cry. Still sniffling, she ran on, her small bag that was strung around her shoulder bouncing on her hip. After a while, she slowed to a walk, panting slightly from exertion.((Ok.))
Kira noticed, surprised, that the trees were thinning out. Happy to be near the edge of the forest, or at least near a clearing, she sped up slightly. Her hopes were raised when she saw the house. She approached the house slowly, not entirely sure what she should do. Talk to the owner?
Kira breathed a slight sigh when the choice was made for her. She looked down at her feet to ensure that she didn't trip on her way to him. But, of course, she still managed to trip over her own feet, but she caught herself before she fell flat on her face.
"Yeah." Kira muttered, blushing slightly. "Just tripped." She looked up at the boy, then looked back down and pulled her arm away from him.
Her eyes flitted to him, then in the direction of the village, then back down to her feet. "I was sort of... Driven out. But it's nothing. It doesn't matter." She said.
Kira paused. "Well, I was sort of hoping that, maybe, I'd be able to stay with you for a while. If I can't, I'll understand." Kira says, picking her words carefully.
Kira breathed a slight sigh of releif, following him through the door. "Thank you." She says, looking around.((I have to go to school now... *Sigh...*))
Kira followed him slowly into the kitchen, taking in the surroundings. She walks into the kitchen, sitting down on one of the chairs.((I live in Kansas....))
"My name?" Kira said, looking down at the steaming tea in the mug in her hands. "Kira." She took a sip, immediatly making a face and tilting her head downward.as the liquid burned her tongue. "What's yours?" She asked once she'd swallowed.
"Colt." She repeated, trying it out. Then she tilted her head. "That's an odd name, but I like it." She set the mug on the counter, playing with the steam as it rose.
Kira shrugged. "I don't know. You can kick me out whenever, though." She said. She touched the side of the mug again, deeming it still too hot to drink.
Kira nodded, then said, "Thank you." She felt the side of the mug again, but this time it had cooled off. She tilted her head to the side slightly, wondering how it'd cooled so fast, but quickly dropped the thought. She picked it up again and took a sip.
She quickly lowered the mug so it wasn't in her face anymore. "17." Kira informed him, releived at the sudden change in topic.. "How old are you?" She asked with a smile.((Ooh, happy early birthday!))
Kira nodded, though he wouldn't be able to see her. She took another sip of her drink, watching him get up, then cast her eyes downward. "If you had to give up one of your five senses, what would it be?" She asked.
"Sight?" Kira said. "With me, that would be the last to go. I wouldn't be able to do anything without sight. If I had to pick, I'd probably pick taste. It seems like the least necissary of the five."
Kira nodded. "Thanks." She finished her drink, then stood, walking to the sink. She motioned to where he'd set his down. "Put it in here?" She asked.
Kira nodded, setting the mug down in the sink next to his. She started walking to the door, then hesitated, wondering if that was a dismisal, or him just informing her where the room was.
Kira responded to his smile woth a small one of her own. She walks toward him and says, "Ok, then. Lead on."
Kira follows him own the hallway, peeping into her room. She wondered once again whether or not this was a dismissal.
"Oh. Ok, thanks." Kira said. She looks at Colt, wondering who his sister was and why he said it used to be her room. She almost asked, but decided not to. She didn't want to pry. She walked into the room, taking her bag off from around her shoulder and sitting on the bed.
"Ok." Kira called. She kicked her shoes off and pulled her feet up onto the bed. Then she opened her bag, pulling out a small rag doll. She stares at it for a minute, then replaces it in her bag.
"Um, no" Kira said, saying in an apologetic tone. "Sorry, I'm a vegetarian. No meat."
