Currently, I'm up to the part "Badconcert.com". I'm enjoying it enough due to our beloved characters, 😉 but I'm just not sure how I feel about this Brady storyline.🤷🏼‍♀️

I get that!! I think you were worried about the (view spoiler)[supernatural part from earlier conversations.
I’m not sure how this is all going to play out. Brady entering Al Brooks mind seems crazy and being able to control him.
I read The Institute last year and it was supernatural as well with these type of subjects; telekinesis, psychokinesis, etc. I really liked it and it worked better for a plot!
I’m guessing that the drugs that Babineau has made Brady take has made him like this.
Right now, I’m having a hard time buying it.
I’m still enjoying the book but I’m having to put off some disbelief a bit in this. 🤣😂 (hide spoiler)]

I’m so sorry Vickie that I haven’t been able to read this in the last few days. We’re trying to sell our house so I’ve been busy staging the house, doing yard work and cleaning.
OMG, I hope I never have to do this again. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣😂

Photographer comes tomorrow and it gets listed on Thursday so hopefully I’ll be able to read some this week, likely at the end of the week.
If you are waiting for me, please go ahead and finish or start reading again. I don’t want you to have to wait since my life is a busy shitfest right now. LOL!

No worries, lol.😆 But I can relate. We've been looking for a home (downsizing) for over a year now, so months ago we were decluttering and cleaning our home like crazy in case we found something quickly. Unfortunately, we haven't found anything. 🙄😕 Good luck to you!

We've got everything staged, photographer has come and the house is going on the market tomorrow. What a bunch of work! Now that everything is set and we have an idea what we need the house to look like for sellers, this seems a bit easier to manage. It's the whole getting it ready (decluttering and cleaning) that's the worse!

But the good news is I can get back to End of Watch now. Yay!

I've finished. Overall, I liked it well enough once I pushed past the believable factor for me. It still had that great tension/suspense in the end (the so-called 'chase') that the two previous ones had. This was my least favorite one, though. I'll leave it at that, without details, until you're finished. I'll be curious about what you think. 😊

Great job on finishing! I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to keep up Vickie. It's been a weird month and week.
Good news, is the house got posted yesterday and we have 5 showings today and all weekend people will be coming over. So we will see. :D

I'm glad you still enjoyed this even with the "believable" factor. I love the chase/action scenes at the end of the last two and I'm excited to finally get to that part!

I finally finished! I really liked the end and it was very binge worthy. I do agree with you that I had to suspend some disbelief with (view spoiler)[Brady's new supernatural skills. Especially when his body died and he's still alive in Babineau's body?! Wha?
I don't know. I'm stumped on the whole supernatural theme of this book.

I thought it was still fun and enjoyable to read. Just had to think, "Well, maybe? I don't know. Let's see how they catch this piece of shit. That's all I cared about by the end."

Stephen King writes evil people so well. I f'ing hated Brady by the end, especially when he was going into the minds of kids and making them commit suicide. Honestly, he could have died more horrific for my liking. LMAO!

Bill dying at the end was also a nice and sad touch. SK wanted the series to end and he did a well, thought out conclusion and finale. (hide spoiler)]

I can't wait to read The Outsider now! Maybe at the end of July or beginning of August? Would you be up for it?
I just committed to Needful Things with Terry on a BR and I think that will take most of the month of July since I will be packing and moving too. Ugh!
