So great when they all turn out to be good!

I've been really struggling to read print during lockdown, so my increase in audio isn't that surprising I can listen a lot of the time (just not when all three guitarists in the house decide it's practice time! that's usually about 2 hours out of every day out the window, lol).

Kristie | 3595 comments I had a fabulous reading week! Thank you for setting up another fun RAT. I definitely got more accomplished this week than usual and I needed it.

Here's my progress for the week:
Woof 17% - finished
The Bookish Life of Nina Hill 9% - finished
Trouble in Mudbug start - finished
Swamp Sniper start - finished
Name Tags and Other Sixth-Grade Disasters 21% - 53%
The Beekeeper's Apprentice start - 24%
All the Broken People 20% - 26%

I had hoped to get a little further along in All the Broken People, but I hadn't planned to even start Swamp Sniper or The Beekeeper's Apprentice until next month, so that's definitely a win.

The further I get, the more it just seems like one big long cry for help. It's obvious the author was extremely preoccupied with the idea of suicide, so it didn't at all surprise me to hear that he ended up taking his own life in the end.

I'd have given up on it by now if I was willing to forego the wheelathon points, lol.

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Updating my reads now. I read too many books... not that many pages... I ended up not being able to read yesterday, but I am happy with the outcome since I spent time with my niece.

That’s a fair amount of listening and reading!

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments 8 books, 1943 pages. Not as good as last time, but not bad either.

message 59: by Kristie (new)

Kristie | 3595 comments I've never tried to figure out my pages before, but I read about 1,321 pages this week. That has to be a record for me! :)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12853 comments If I get bored later I may try and figure out what the page equivalent of my audios was, just for a laugh, lol.

Vicki Willis | 496 comments I think I read a record number as well!

I read
Everything We Keep all of it
The Dilemma all of it
Fractured 75%
Undone 65%
Kane and Abel 25%

For a total of 1365 pages

Laura | 9707 comments Was The Dilemma any good, Vicki? It's in my next batch of books coming on loan from the library.

I loved the book! I gave it 5 stars.

For me it was the best one she has written.

Not the way I listen to them! lol. (2.25x speed)

I was going to just use the default page count. I didn't have any audio only ones, so it should work :)

message 68: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12853 comments Works out to roughly 2136 pages. Not bad, but not as good as it would have been without a house full of people making noise! lol.

That's what I did too. And if I read a portion of the book, then I just added that percentage of the total pages. I figure my total is approximate, but close enough.

Nice job with 2136 pages. That's great!
