David Estes, who runs a YA dystopian group on Good Reads, has two great series, one starting with The Moon Dwellers, the other with Fire Country. The series merge in a seventh book.

They're all excellent. He has two more series started, which are good but not quite as good.

Yeah,i've only read the first of The Mortal Instruments (and it's one of my favourites) and everyone says that from now on it's just getting better, so i'm really exited to read the others!
