I agree. These are better than most classics.

I agree. Definitely worth reading. Dracula is similar, with some slower parts being offset by an interesting story.

There are some that I've read and enjoyed, such as Peter Pan, The Secret Garden, The Hobbit, A Christmas Carol, and a few others.

Most of them are boring. I didn't like Peter Pan, but the three other books that you liked, I also liked. I enjoyed The Chronicles of Narnia and Sherlock Holmes.

I recomend finding a book you can see yourself holding. If the cover looks good and the blurb is to go for it !

If you haven't already, "The Chronicles of Narnia" by C.S Lewise would be a great series for you to read! Also, Tom Sawyer would be a great choice as well! Both have action and are really fun to read!!

I read "seasonally" because I feel like I have different moods in different seasons. I usually read Anne of Green Gables in spring because Anne first gets to Green Gables in the springitme, and I love to see the beauty of the natural world along with her. In the autumn, I like more dark academia vibes, so I turn to the likes of Romeo and Juliet and The Hound of the Baskervilles (which I also think is easier to get into than some other Sherlock novels). I almost always reread Little Women around New Years. There's something lovely about going forth into a new year with high hopes and ideal with the March sisters who are also trying to improve themselves.
Also I think it helps to just not give up on classics. What may not have been interesting now may prove a lifelong favorite down the road!
Happy Reading!

Then there are classics such as Anne of Green Gables, Pride, and Prejudice, Little Women, Chronicles of Narnia, Alice in Wonderland, & Sherlock Holmes, that I really wanted to love, because I loved the stories told through television, but upon reading the books I found that I just did not enjoy them very much. Because I was bored reading them and/or I really didn't like the writing style.
So, my question is, does anyone have any Classic Books suggestions for someone who doesn't like classics? For someone that gets bored easily if there's nothing really happening? Someone that likes action and not just a lot of dialogue and thoughts? Someone who likes a good page-turner? Someone who likes fantasy and adventure books and not contemporary ones? Someone like me?
