Are you able to read other books while writing your own?

Yes. I'm reading two other books right now.

I love reading and need to read. When I first began writing I found myself emulating the writing style of the author I read. Luckily I found my voice and can read anyone and not try to emulate them now. I think I would go crazy if I couldn't read other works while I write.
