You guys are all amazing.

I checked out the Jim Butcher Books from Changes on, so I could remember what happened, and I'm also pretty sure I never read the last one. And I just couldn't focus on them this time around. I had to return them because they were on hold though. I'll have to try again later. So, Peace Talks, for me, will have to wait.

Did you check out the books or the audios? Because I highly recommend the audios....James Marsters is amazing as the narrator.

Last day to let me know what you've read.

I will be holding a prize drawings (retroactively since March) when we are a little more open. Once I get the approval from above. Thanks for participating!

Britt, Book Habitue (britt--bookhabitue) | 767 comments I snuck one more in-- If Walls Could Talk (ghosts, so more paranormal that traditional fantasy).
I think that puts me at like 18. It's been a pretty good summer for reading around here. :)

message 123: by Alyson (new)

Alyson | 98 comments I'm coming in under the wire--tonight I read Demi's "Kites: Magic Wishes that Fly up to the Sky" and finished "Sea Sirens: A Trot & Cap'n Bill Adventure" by Amy Chu and Janet K. Lee. Together with "The Gammage Cup," "The Thief," and "The Runaway Princess," I just made it!

Greg (danceyeah) | 289 comments Hey!

Why did the process for logging reading on Beanstack change?

I can't log any of my reading, now. Which means, I can't participate in the summer challenge.

Hey Greg, I posted a reply on your post on the other discussion board before I saw this post. So, it sounds like you've finished the first six badges, that means you have completed the Summer Reading Program. That is great!

This year, the extension activities look different. It's a Bingo game with specific activities. I know in the past, it's just been the same options, but the summer reading workgroup decided to mix it up. There is a survey you can fill out, either online, or in person, when you come pick up your prize book at a local branch, and you can let the workgroup know you would prefer to have the extension record be the same types of activities as the first part, or back to how it used to be.

Hopefully this clears up some things.

Thanks!
