Stephen (stephenT) My question is, should I feel that guilty when all my crops & animals die? Scary to be so sucked in...

Ummm, yes.

Angie (angabel) I think people play Mafia Wars and other violent games in order to experience what they can't, or wouldn't want to, in real life.

But Farmville... I mean, I guess I can see if someone really couldn't have a garden for whatever reason, but c'mon... most people probably spend just as much time tending their pixeled carrots as they would real ones.

I've wanted to try to play more physical-based games like Second Life, as I write extensively online and have created some personas on livejournal to see what I could get away/how people react to certain bits of information. I'm SO AFRAID of getting sucked in, though, since it is so close to real life, whereas more text-based things require a lot more imagination.

Stephen (stephenT) Or perhaps you worry to much?

message 59: by Angie (new)

Angie (angabel) Nope. I know I don't worry too much. I have lined my house with tinfoil so there's nothing to worry about! :P

message 60: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) L O L that's clear thinking.
