♥ Sandi ❣	It was up to this book and Vanishing Half - I ended up ordering this book. It will be a bit before I get to it however.

Brittney Schmidt (schmidtyoushouldread) | 68 comments Omg!! Read this in literally 2 days. Incredible incredible read.

♥ Sandi ❣	Whelp! My book got to within about 120 miles of me and they rerouted it to Jacksonville Florida - about 1500 miles away!! Supposedly it is back on it's way to me....sigh!!

Brittney Schmidt (schmidtyoushouldread) | 68 comments Oh no!!! They should give you a book credit for the inconvenience!

♥ Sandi ❣	I'm not sure that it was BOTM clubs fault, Brittney. Will wait to see how it is addressed before I blame them. Could have been just the overworked, and now understaffed, postal system. None of my family lives close to me, so I send a lot of birthday and Christmas boxes and sadly to say from time to time they get rerouted wrong too.

♥ Sandi ❣	Good to hear that it is a good book. Will try to work it in to my reading list even sooner.

Jessica Conner Just got this and The Last Flight in the mail! I'm finishing up Run Away by Harlan Coben, then moving on to this one.

Just finished The Last Flight as BOTM. Really enjoyed it. However one question that maybe I read wrong. Didn’t Claire see Eva on the TV? At the end, it implied that she got on the plane. I was a bit confused if anyone can clarify? Did she die in the crash?

Brittney Schmidt (schmidtyoushouldread) | 68 comments Thank you Julie! I was confused by that as well! I guess maybe she thought she saw her.. which kept us thinking she may still be out there.. but yes I got the same vibe.

I listened to an interview with the author who confirmed that yes, Eva did die in the plane crash. She didn't explain Claire's sighting of Eva on the video, but I assume she saw someone who just looks like her.

Julie Sonlin | 3 comments Ahhhh thanks for clarifying. Just confusing because she saw a woman in a pink sweater like hers.

Brittney Schmidt (schmidtyoushouldread) | 68 comments Awesome thank you so much for clarifying! If you don’t mind sharing, how did you hear the interview from the author? I’d love to find things like this!

Christie Guillory | 10 comments Once I read that Eva was indeed on the flight, I realized that Claire had just thought what she saw was Eva. I hated that Eva had died because by that time I was rooting for her, but I can see why the author would want Claire to believe Eva had lived. If Claire had belived Eva had died she would have carried that grief, and possibly guilt, and then she would never have actually been free to live the life she ao desperately longed for and deserved. she would have escaped her husband only to be bound by the grief of Eva's death.

Karen (kaye1119) | 1 comments One thing that bothered me: If Danielle suspected Claire's plan to leave, and knew it all hinged on the Detroit trip, why didn't she intercept the FedEx package? She would have realized it was not something Rory should see. She could have easily brushed it off by saying something like "Oh, these are Claire's notes for the event, I'll sift through them for you, I know you don't like to have hard copies of anything," etc. etc. I also thought it was a bit far fetched that Danielle would call Eva's phone expecting Claire to get the message.

Sure, no problem! I heard it on the podcast "Moms Don't Have Time to Read," with Zibby Owens. Season 5, episode 46 (June 23). Enjoy!

Hannah | 2 comments This was an incredibly fast read, so I guess that means it was good. I just felt like there were so many loose ends (poor wording on my part). Obviously there was a clear ending, but the lady who helped planned the original escape? What happened to her? If Eva died, why was her (Claire’s) seat empty on the plane? Just ran some pieces that I wished would have been tied up more neatly.
