This is definitely a romance novel and the details I remember are that a woman with magical powers(I referred to her as a witch assuming she was one) stays with a family in their farm and as the story progresses,she ends up falling in love with the older son? Something along those lines. She gets pregnant with his child and the pregnancy puts her life at risk but the foetus within ends up saving her because it has magical powers too. I vaguely remember a Catherine Anderson vibe but I'm not sure if this is her book
