Levi closed her eyes as she listened to the girl she was dating explain to her what she did for the day. "Good luck on your meeting tonight babe, you'll do great. My day was pretty good, around the same, boring. I basically stayed around the house today and I cleaned, meditated and got ready for my shift at work tonight. I wish we didn't have things to do because I would love to go and just relax somewhere overlooking the city," Levi said with a light frown on her face.
Their food was called and Koa went to go get their and then led them over to a cozy nook. Levi got comfortable before taking a sip of her smoothie. Perfect. The fruit was in season now that it was summer and the taste was immaculate. "How's your food baby? Is it good? Do you want some of this?"

"Thanks, it should be an easy one. And hopefully I won't have to stay too long," Koa wasn't looking forward to it, but it would be okay. She would get through it like she did all of her other meetings. It was just that now she had an excuse to be doing things other than work and it was making her want to do those other things. Levi was more than worth missing work for, but she knew also that that might put her in danger, so she would keep on top of her work and see Levi when she could.
She listened as Levi told her about her day, it sounded pretty chill, which was always nice. It didn't sound boring at all, Koa wished they'd spent it together. "My food? Yeah its good, do you want to try it?" She cut off a little piece and put it on Levi's plate, "Yeah I'd love to try some," She pushed her plate over for Levi to put some on it. "What do you have planned for tomorrow? Or what time do you get off work tonight?" Maybe she could pick her up from work and they could have a really late dinner or really early breakfast.

Levi took the piece of food that Koa slid onto her plate and took a bite. Gosh that was good. "Here babe," Levi slid some of the peach and mango slices over to Koa onto her plate. "Me? I get off at 1 in the morning, super late. Tomorrow I'm free during the day until I have to be back to work in the evening. Why, what's up? What did you have in mind?" Levi sat back, putting her fork down on the plate. Yeah, she would have to take the rest to go, it would be a good snack for one of her breaks. Levi checked the time again, 5:10. Levi frowned at the time, already? It had felt like they just got there and she didn't want to leave just yet, but duty calls.
1 o'clock in the morning? That was late, but no later than Koa would already be up. "How tired are you when you get off of work?" Koa noticed Levi checking her phone, it must be time for them to go. "I have to leave to get ready for my client, and I'm sure its time for you to get to work," Koa reached her hand out and slid her fingers over Levi's, "I hate that we had so little time together today. Why don't we meet after you're off work? If you're not too tired? You can text me when it gets close to time for you to get off whether you're feeling up to it or not." She was trying to figure out ways for them to spend time together without screwing up each others schedules. But if Levi was anything like Koa then she needed to wind down after work, and what better way to wind down than a midnight pancake run, or they could order in at her apartment and watch Netflix, they didn't even have to do anything.
"Yeah I know, but the job is good. The staff I work with is great even if the people are shitty," Levi said, sighing as she put her phone back into the bag that she had brought with her. Levi put her other hand over Koa's and looked over at her. "I would love that, I'll text you when I'm closer to being off? We can do a nightcap?" She wanted to spend more time with Red and if she had to stay up late to do it, then so be it. She could get used to cuddling with Koa after her shifts at the club, it would definitely make her nights better.
Levi got up and went to go and find a to go box. After finding two, Levi returned back to the table and boxed up her food. "I got one for you too babe, just in case," Levi said as she closed her box.

It was incredible how Levi wanted to spend time with her as well, Koa hoped she wasn’t coming across as too much. She smiled when Levi agreed to the nightcap. Koa gathered her food and put it in one of the boxes Levi had brought over, “Thanks babe,” she replied and fit her food in the box. “I’ll try to text you some from the club, but I don’t know how much time I’ll have to do that. But I’ll try,” Koa leaned in for a kiss, not a peck either. She pressed her lips against Levi’s, her lips moving over the other woman’s in a sensual way. Her tongue flicked out to lick her bottom lip before standing back with a grin. “That’ll never get old,” she promised with a wink.
Koa pulled Levi in for a kiss and it wasn't just a quick goodbye kiss. No this was a kiss that was full of intention, of lust and of want. "That'll never get old," Levi heard Koa say. Damn did this woman not know what she was doing to her? Levi wasn't going to let the other woman get away with this. When Koa pulled away, Levi pulled her right back in for another, moving her lips slowly against Koa's and biting Red's bottom lip before pulling away. Levi smirked and pulled away, grabbing her box of food and Koa's hand," You damn right it won't." Koa mentioned that she would try to text Levi while at her meeting. "Baby, don't worry about me. Just message me when it's over, focus on impressing your client okay? For me? Not that you need any extra help because you have it down to a science already."
After Koa walked Levi to her car and made sure she was safe, Levi started driving to her club Deja Vu. As she was parking her car, she checked the time, 5:25. Perfect, Levi had more than enough time to get ready for the night ahead. Levi grabbed all of the things that she was going to need: her leftover fruit from her quick date with Koa, her phone and her work bag. She exited her car and locked it and walked up the stairs to the back door of Deja Vu, knocking three times before being let in by Alana. "Hey sweet thing, how you doing today?" Alana said, holding the door open for Levi. "I'm doing great love, how are you today? Haven't had to kick anyone out today have you?" Levi asked as she walked into the club. The security guard shook her head as she closed the door, "Not today, but the night is still young so let's not rule it out completely yet hm? You know I love a good fight. Gives me a chance to show these guys," at this point, the taller girl flexed her muscles," off." Levi chuckled," You're a mess, A. Stay out of trouble okay?" "Not if it finds me first, sweet thing," Alana said as she went to go and brief her team for the night.
Levi rolled her eyes and smiled as she made her way to the dressing room. Levi opened it up and there was a flurry of colors and half naked girls every where. "Levi!" Some of the girls greeted the model as they were dressing and doing their makeup. "Hi my loves," Levi said, giving out hugs to some and blowing kisses to others, "Where's Jade?" "She stepped out for a moment, but she'll be back," a blonde haired, green eyed girl said as she pulled her top up. "Thanks Lila baby, how are you?" Levi said as she went to her mirror and started pulling out her outfit for the night. She hung it on one of the hangars that was back in the dressing room and Levi then stripped down to her naked body. Levi rifled through the bag that she had and dropped a pair of shower shoes on the floor. She zipped it up and "I'm going to shower!" Levi said as she made her way over to the showers.
After showering, Levi toweled off, grabbed her bag and made her way back over to her mirror. Hmmmm... what did she want to do with her makeup and body tonight? Did she want to do body glitter or highlighter? The body highlighter would look a lot better with the low light. As she opened her lotion and body highlighter, two hands were on her shoulder and a voice was in her ear, "Heard you were looking for me." Levi moved her hair out of her face and she smiled as she saw the eyes of her best friend. "Hi baby, how are you? How's Lora?" Levi asked as she started to lotion up with her body lotion and body highlighter combo. "Oh my gosh...." Jade started as she sat down next to Levi. She started to catch her up on her life the past two weeks as she and Lora had went out of the country for one of Lora's games, as she was a basketball player. Jade showed Levi pictures as Levi put on her makeup and herlook for the night. "That sounds like you had a good time, I am so happy for you," Levi said, putting on a light red lip gloss to finish off her black, red and gold look. Her shoes had feathers on them and they were one of her signatures. Her clients loved her in these as they made her legs look amazing. "Where's Elektra?" A loud voice shouted over all of the conversation. "I'm here, Delilah," Levi shouted back. "Good cause you're dancing tonight, Zaria isn't up to performing." "Fine by me, thank you I adore you!" "Darling I adore you plus you look sexy, people will be drooling over you!" An older woman said as she appeared in the mirror. Delilah moved her dark brown hair out of her grey eyes she gave Levi a kiss on the cheek. "Don't forget to let Mila know the song you're going to be doing tonight. You're on at 10:30 babe." "I won't Mom I promise." "Good good, now go out there, there's some money to be made!"
Levi smiled as Delilah left and started to do final checks for the night. Levi liked working for the older woman as she was a former dancer herself, she knew the game and knew the best way to bring customers, all while making the girls comfortable. She was like a mom to them which is why she was also affectionately known as that as well. Delilah made sure that the girls did not do anything that they were not comfortable with too, which put Levi at ease while working for Deja Vu. She knew Delilah was into some darker things, but Levi knew that Delilah would never directly involve them in anything past entertainment which was something she appreciated about the more seasoned woman. "You heard Momma, let's go out there and make some cash!" Levi said as she checked herself out in the mirror and sprayed a perfume on that smelled like vanilla with darker notes like she was the walking embodiment of sexy. Levi grabbed some money and put it in her bra for tips that she would be giving out during the night as she got up from her chair and smacked Jade's ass as they made their way out onto the floor. Levi looked at the time, 8:30. Perfect. In a half hour, the night crowd should be coming in. Levi scanned the crowd and picked out a woman in the crowd that was by herself and went up to her and started to make conversation with her, the night starting in full swing.

Being pulled back in for another kiss was a nice surprise, she was left a bit breathless as Levi pulled back this time. "Damn woman, you're killing me," She murmured and grabbed her box, Koa walked Levi out to her vehicle and gave her one last kiss before watching her drive off. It was time to get her night started, she went down the block and got to her bike, after sliding her helmet on she started the bike and took off, she had things to do before her meeting, including getting dressed in something, well nicer.
Koa was soon back at her place, shucking her clothes and getting in the shower, she had it on hot and took her time as she lathered up and rinsed off. She used some lotion afterwards, and then went to pick her outfit out as her hair dried naturally. She picked out a black halter top, a pair of leather pants, and boots. Nothing too fancy, but fancy enough to get her past the dress code for whatever club it was that they were meeting at, Deja Vu, or something like that. She'd have to check her text messages to double check. She zipped up the thigh high boots and then went to put some product in her hair while it was still a little damp, she wanted the curls to stay, and not get frizzy.
Koa grabbed her phone off her bed and checked her messages, yeah she was supposed to meet the client at his choice of club, Deja Vu. She'd never been, so she was going in blind, which wasn't optimal. Koa knew that she should've gone and scoped it out beforehand, but she'd been busy. It wasn't like the guy was going to set her up, but it was still nice to know the layout of a place and all the exits. Koa went to the kitchen and made herself a cup of hot tea to help her relax before the meeting at 11:00. She was going to have tea, relax, and maybe watch a couple of episodes of an anime or something.
All too soon it was 10:00, Koa turned her TV off and took her drained tea cup to the sink. She gently set it down and ran some water in it before grabbing her truck keys and heading out. She locked her flat door and headed down to the parking garage. Her big, shiny truck was waiting, Koa smiled, her client could pull up in whatever he wanted, but nothing would beat her truck, at least not in Koa's opinion. She revved the engine some before pulling out and heading towards her destination, she quickly told her GPS where she wanted to go, then called Eric, her boss. "Hey," He answered immediately, "Hey, can you give me the name of this guy again?" Koa asked, really she just wanted to check in with her boss, she hadn't heard from him all day, and that made her nervous. "Jake, he'll meet you at 11," Eric replied, he sounded like he was annoyed that she'd called. "Got it, thanks. Anything you need me to do afterwards?" She asked in a light tone, hoping his mood would change, "Yeah get your ass to bed, we got shipments coming tomorrow." Koa sighed, but told him okay and hung up. That meant she had to be at work by noon tomorrow. Which wasn't a big deal, really. But she'd hoped to spend the day with Levi, maybe they could really have that sleepover and at least have a bit of the morning together.
Koa pulled into the parking lot of the club and turned her engine off, it looked like a nice enough place from the outside. It was the inside that mattered though, she took her gun out and put it in the glove compartment. She didn't think she would need it inside the club, plus she figured in case they decided to wand them, she'd be safe. Koa's fists were enough of a weapon, she didn't fear much. She texted 'Jake' and told him that she had arrived, he texted back rather quickly that he was already inside and had a table for them. "Ass," She muttered, he didn't even have the decency to escort her inside? Koa took a breath, then headed toward the entrance. "My parties already inside," She told security, they gave her the once over, but didn't wand her or pat her down. Koa stepped into the club, the music was on point, and there were girls, lots of girls. Koa swallowed, this was not what she'd thought she was walking into. Dammit, damn Eric for making her walk in blind, damn Jake for not telling her. She quickly schooled her features and walked over to the table that Jake was sitting at, she'd only met him once before. "Sir, nice to see you again," She said sitting down, they shook hands across the table. He seemed to be enjoying himself already as he had a girl nearby, talking to her. Levi thought this was purely for business, she wasn't aware they were mixing business with pleasure. Not that she minded all that much, but she would have rather of known. "So are we going to talk business?" She asked, he grunted and told her to relax and enjoy the view.

Levi was still talking to the girl that she had sat down with at the beginning of the night. They were having a good time! The woman named Randi had bought them drinks and they had talked about a multitude of topics like travel, jobs and their current life plans. She was telling Levi that she was seeing this woman and that she was the woman of her dreams. “I feel the same way, I just recently started dating this woman and when I tell you she checks all of my boxes,” Levi said, taking a sip of the drink that Randi had bought her. Randi was about to respond when Delilah came up behind Levi to whisper in her ear, “I need you backstage a little early, love because I need to talk to you. We have a VIP.” Levi nodded and then got up from the arm of the chair she was sitting on. “Randi, it was so nice to meet you boo. If you and your girl want to come through let them know that you’re looking for Elecktra or E. I’ll come take care of you guys,” Levi said, downing the last of her drink and winking over to Randi as she sashayed away. Levi put the glass back onto the bar as she made her way backstage. On her way, she stopped by the DJ booth where a short haired girl had headphones half on. “Mila! I’m on at 10:30 can you give me a song?” The girl looked over and smiled at her, “Anything for you angel, what song are you thinking of?” “The Weeknd, you know the one,” Levi said with a sultry smile. “Oh. Yes. Get that mamas,” Mila said as she searched for the song to queue it up. “You’re literally the best, I love you,” Levi said, reaching into her stash of cash and giving Mila a tip. Mila scoffed and pushed the money back into Levi’s hands. “Angel, you know that I’m going to get my tip seeing you rock this routine. Now go,” Mila said, putting her headphones back on. Levi returned the bill to her stash and made her way backstage.
Backstage, Levi found Delilah there smoking a cigarette that smelled like vanilla. “You know you should kick that,” Levi said as she walked up to Delilah. Delilah cracked a smile and exhaled the smoke, “I should’ve kicked a lot of things in my life. My ex-husband, my father…. I’m starting to see a theme here,” Delilah said as she put out her cigarette. “What’s the plan for tonight?” Levi asked as she leaned against the wall. “So you remember my friend Jake? He’s back in town and he’s got a business meeting here. You’re going to be assigned to him tonight, will that be okay?” Delilah asked, smoothing out the younger woman’s hair out of her eyes. “Yes that’s okay, I remember him being very pleasant the last time that he was here,” Levi said with a smile. “That’s because you’re his favorite dear.” Upon receiving this information, Levi raised a brow, “Really?” Delilah nodded, “Have you seen yourself dear? Absolutely lethal.” Levi then blushed, “Thanks Delilah. Wait so Zaria actually wasn’t feeling like dancing tonight or was that a ploy for me to dance for Jake?” “Oh no dear, that just happened to be a coincidence. What do I always say?” “The universe works in mysterious ways,” Levi quoted. “That’s right, now go get ready for your set love, it’s 10:00.” Levi gave Delilah a hug before going to change into her stage outfit for the night. She might actually just keep it on because she knew that she was going to look amazing.
“Aye, so I finally get to meet the Cobra. Your reputation precedes you,” Jake said as he shook hands with Koa across the table. He was dressed pristinely, his taper fade immaculate. He was wearing a button down shirt, freshly pressed pants and some nice dress shoes that were a blood red color. “I hope you don’t mind, I wanted to get here a little earlier as I heard one of my favorite dancers was performing before our meeting. Do indulge me first before we start talking business, will you?” He said as one of the waitresses came by with a bottle of whiskey and two glasses filled with large circular ice cubes. “Thanks doll,” he said, the drawl of his accent coming out. Jake pulled a roll of $100 bills out of his pocket and slipped one into the fabric of the waitress’ thong that sat between her hips. In return, she winked and blew him a kiss,”Thanks stud,” before she walked off to tend to other guests. “I’m not the traditional sort when it comes to meetings. I like to have fun, be bold you see. That’s why I wanted to have the meeting here. I’m sure this is a farcry from what you’re used to but I just hate the run of the mill wine and dine. This,” He motioned to the club environment, “If we do choose to work together, is what you can expect from me. I won’t take you anywhere that doesn’t provide a good time, you can bet on that,” Jake said, opening the bottle of whiskey and pouring them both a glass of the whiskey. He handed one over to Koa and raised his, “Cheers to tonight, yeah?” The sound system turned down the music and announced in a low and velvety voice, “We hope that you’re ready because in five minutes we will be having a performance by one of our very own. You don’t want to miss it.” The music turned back up and Jake looked over to Koa,”You’re in for a treat. Be ready,” he said as he settled into his chair sipping the whiskey and swirling it in his cup, the ice clinking against the glass.
Levi looked at herself in the mirror as she had changed into her stage outfit, spraying herself one more time with her perfume. Hot damn she looked a lot better than what she had imagined. Levi stretched and rolled her neck, grabbing a black robe off of the pegs in the dressing room as she made her way to the side entrance for the stage. There , she found Jade who had just gotten off of stage. “Baby you look amazing, go knock them dead. I set em up, you knock them down. Pole’s clean.” She gave Jade a kiss on the cheek and said she loved her as she stepped up to the stage, it was dark so the only thing that the audience could hear was the clicking of heels against the stage. Levi took off the robe, tossing it to the back of the stage and gave the thumbs up to Mila, taking her starting position and the lights illuminating her silhouette. Mila once again turned down the music as she spoke into the microphone. “And now ladies and gentlemen, the moment that you have been waiting for… the sultry and super sexy siren… Elecktra.” Cheers rose from the crowd as The Weeknd’s Wicked Games played over the speakers, Levi started to move her body, the only light on her showing her silhouette for the first 18 seconds of the song, her opener for the routine she put together to pull the audience into the space she needed them to be in which was lustful and devilish. Soon the lights were turned up and people started flocking toward the stage, wanting to be close to her and she got close to them, letting some of them put money in her lingerie straps when she did her floor work. “Didn’t I tell you?” Jake asked Koa, intently watching Levi, “I told you that you were in for a treat.”
The room was busy, and Koa couldn't figure out where to concentrate first, before Jake caught her attention again. He was complimenting her, she was glad that her reputation was getting out there, but she wasn't so sure she cared about this guy knowing her. The meeting would tell what kind of guy he actually was, and the way he handled the girls that he wanted to watch. If he respected the girls, then he would earn some respect from Koa. If he treated them like his property, or like shit, then she might have to curb stomp him a few times. He was droning on about liking mixing business with pleasure, well that was all well and good, as long as they actually got to the business part by the end of it all. Koa took a glass of whiskey herself, sipped on it some and leaned back in her own chair, ready to enjoy the show. She knew these girls worked their asses off, and usually depended on tips, damn if she barely had a few twenties in her wallet. She'd give it to them though, she wasn't going to just leave the girls high and dry. The music started, Koa watched with intense attention, this girl better be worth all of the hoopla that Jake was throwing her way about her. At first the stage was dim, giving a mystery vibe as the shadow danced, then the light started getting brighter and Koa was appreciating the girls moves, until she turned and Koa got a good look at her face. Koa froze, her jaw dropping just before, that was, that was Levi up there! Holy shit, Koa was entranced by the dance even further than before, her eyes wide, and she had to forcibly shut her mouth.
Jake's annoying voice broke into her trance as she watched her would-be girlfriend on the stage, showing off her body, and making some mean moves on stage. Damn if Koa didn't want to walk onto that stage and have her way with her right then and there. She about slapped Jakes ugly ass when he commented on Levi, gritting her teeth, she kept her comments to herself, watching the dance unfold. She couldn't say, or do, anything that would risk messing up this job for Levi, or the job she was trying to close with her potential client. Eric really wanted this guy, but damn it all, Koa wanted to take him behind the alley and kick his ass all the way to Sunday for liking her girl. It would have been different if it this was just Levi's job and this was a random guy, maybe. But she knew what Jake did for a living, and how sleazy he had to be to be in this line of work. Koa gripped the chair until she thought her hands would break it. Though her body was humming with could only be described as turned on, her mind was running through scenarios of how this would play out. What would happen when Levi realized she was there? Would they have a moment to talk? For her to explain? Or would she and Jake go on with their night and the questions between her Levi just linger between them until she got off work? Levi was getting closer to the edge of the stage, Koa leaned forward in her chair trying to catch the other woman's eye.

Levi was coming to the end of her song and she came down from the pole, hitting a split at the end. She was breathing heavily as the crowd erupted into loud applause and money was still being thrown on the stage. “Give my girl Elecktra some love for me!” Mila said over the loud speaker. Levi got up and started cleaning the pole as people started sweeping the money off the stage and into the bin with her name on it. As the lights dimmed and the girl started cleaning the pole for the next performer, she glanced out into the crowd and caught a particular red head’s eye. Wait… that can’t be….. she said she would be at a meeting? Levi shook out of her thoughts. No that couldn’t be Koa sitting in her club. If that was, what was she doing here? Was her meeting over already and she was blowing off some steam? Levi finished cleaning the pole and excused herself off of the stage, grabbing the robe from the back of the stage.
“Wasn’t she marvelous?” Jake said, finishing off the last of the whiskey in his cup. “Of course she was darling, that’s why she has such a reputation here,” a voice said as a woman in a black dress and green heels came up to Koa and Jake. “Oh Delilah you beautiful creature,” Jake said, standing and giving the smaller woman a hug. “Dakota, I would like you to meet Delilah, the owner of Deja Vu. We go way back. Delilah, this is Dakota or Koa, I’ll let her decide which she’s comfortable with,” Jake said. Delilah smiled over to Koa,” Pretty little thing that you’ve brought into my place of business, you shouldn’t have.” The older woman then stuck out her hand for Koa to shake,”It’s a pleasure to meet you love. I’ve heard a lot about you.”

"Marvelous is one way of describing it," Koa said a bit breathless, she was ready to go find Levi, to explain why she was there, but it wasn't the time. Only a moment later and a woman was being introduced, she was small, and looked very friendly. Koa put on her best charm and held out a hand, they shook. "Pleasure to meet you as well," She replied, wondering if she'd heard plenty about her from Levi or from this guy. "Shall we?" She spoke to Jake, apparently they were going to go to a private room. "Hell," She muttered as they were led away from the main floor. Where is she? I can't believe that she works here, and I didn't know. What else don't I know? And this guy! He acts like he has fucking dibs on her, fuck that. He has nothing on Levi, I'll kick his ass to Sunday if I need to. I'm over this guy already, he better hope that things go better for the rest of the meeting or I'm telling Eric fuck no. I need the chance to explain to Levi why I'm here too, I swear our eyes met when she was ending. She looked kind of shocked, I'm shocked, so surely she's shocked. I hope she'll listen to me...., her thoughts were tumbling over and over in her head as they walked.
After taking care of the finer details for the VIP, Levi had settled back into her chair in the dressing room. That couldn’t have been Koa out there. Why was she here? Was she here to meet someone? Did she lie to Levi? Levi was pulled out of her spiral when the door to the dressing room opened and two familiar voices were making their way over to where Levi was. As Lila and Jade turned the corner, Levi relaxed. “Bitch!” Jade said, making her way over to Levi,”That routine you did? That was hot.” “I’ll say,” Lila said, making her way to the other side of Levi. Levi gave the two of them a smile and a hug,” You guys are too sweet.” “We mean it! You were out there like you were the true embodiment of a sex siren. Hello, 911? Yes I’d like to report a homicide because Electra straight up murdered these hoes,” Lila said, chuckling and giving Levi a kiss on the cheek. Laughter bubbled up from both Levi and Jade’s chest. “Stooop,” Levi said as her laughter died down. She then looked at the two girls in the mirror,” Want to help me with a VIP later?” “Air, do you breathe it?” Jade asked as she gave Levi a look that said,'' Girl, c’mon we know that we have your back.” “You’re right you’re right you’re right,” Levi said, getting up. “Okay well, his name is Jake. He likes the colors of green, blue and gold. He’s a businessman and he comes here often to just talk and sometimes do business meetings here but I’ve never been in one of those… Raina used to sit in on those ones.” “Well I have something green,” Jade said, getting up and rifling through the locker that she had. “I can cover blue,” Lila said, going to her bag. “I have nothing that is gold, I didn’t think Jake would be coming. He’s been gone for months,” Levi said, wiping off the red makeup she had on to start completely fresh on her eyes. “Don’t worry baby, I gotchu,” Jade said, shuffling through the clothes in her locker before she found what she was looking for. “Here it is,” Jade tossed it over to Levi. Levi looked the pieces over, “Jade this is perfect. Thank you.” “Don’t thank me, you’re thanking me enough by cutting me in on this VIP. If anything, we should be thanking you,” Jade said, closing her locker and stripping out of lingerie that she was already in. The other two followed suit, messing with their makeup and reapplying what needed to be.
Levi checked herself out in the mirror and she looked like perfection. She was sure to get Jake’s approval. After the girls got ready, they exited the dressing room and Levi continued to brief Lila and Jade as they walked back onto the main floor, the music having been slowed down just a bit so that she didn’t have to shout. “Jake isn’t too picky, usually it’s just myself and him but he did mention to me the last time that he was here that he did want me to bring two more girls with me, we’ve only done that one other time I believe?” Plus I’ll have to give him a hard time, he didn’t keep his word. He absolutely drools over playful banter. Jake also likes it when pretty girls smoke as he smokes himself. There will also need to be a girl near him and his friends if he brought any. He usually comes with one or two people, so it’ll be perfect if he decides to have company. He likes to feel strong, so stroke his ego just a little bit. Be playful, he eats that shit up. He loves to drink whiskey specifically, so that’ll be right up your alley, Lila. Majority of the requests have been taken care of, so don’t worry about that too much, it’s really detailing things that we have to worry about. Just worry about making sure the guest feels like they have a good time.” Levi then stopped in front of sleek, double doors. Jerri, the woman guarding the door, eased a little as she opened the door for the trio. “Ladies,” she said. “Jerri,” the three chimed back as they entered a hallway that had stairs at the end. The door clicked shut behind them and the three of them followed Levi’s lead as she led them up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, they were greeted with another short hallway before it came to a halt at a pair of ornate doors. Levi opened the doors and she looked around. It was just as she requested, Cuban cigars and cigarillos, a fresh fruit and chocolate tray, Irish Whiskey on the table with five cold glasses, as well as a bottle of Don Julio 1942 and the scent of cherry lingering in the air. “Perfect,” Levi said, as she went to fluff the pillows on one of the couches, silk pillowcases having been put on the pillows for the comfort of the guest. “This is exquisite,” Jade commented. “I know right? Let’s plunge into the last minute checks before the client gets here?” Levi said, scanning the room for anything out of place or missing.
Meanwhile, Delilah checked her watch. “It seems around that time. If you two would follow me,” she said as she started ushering Koa and Jake towards the back of the club where the VIP rooms were behind two double doors. There was a huge, 6’10” woman with muscles for days guarding the doors. She nodded at Delilah and opened the door which led to a hallway with stairs at the end. “This is where I stop and hand you these,” Delilah then produced a set of keys to Jake. “You have the biggest one like usual. Please turn the sign when you’re done this time,” Delilah said. “I have to attend to some business of my own, but hopefully our paths will cross again,” Delilah kissed Jake’s cheeks, one on each side, “Take care Koa,” Delilah shook the other woman’s hand before disappearing into the club crowd again. Jake motioned his head, “Let’s go yeah?” The two stepped into the hallway and with a light click, the door was closed behind them. Jake began leading the way, keys jingling in his grasp. He made it up the stairs and waited for Koa to catch up to him before he made it to another set of doors, more decorative than the last ones.
Levi and the girls had finalized the last little details of making sure the circular ice cubes were in the freezer and also that there were linen napkins available. Weird requests, but hey when a VIP asked, they got whatever they wanted within reason. She heard the keys coming down the hallway and Levi looked over to the other two, “Ready?” “Yes ma’am,” Jade said, giving a light salute and a wink. “You know it,” Lila said, flipping her hair out of her eyes.
Jake put the keys into the lock and unlocked the door, swinging the door wide open. He was soon greeted by a woman jumping onto him, “Woah!” Jake caught Levi and Levi wrapped her legs around his waist for stability. “Hey you!” “Hey doll,” Eric said with a wide smile as Levi attacked his cheeks with kisses, leaving lipstick stains. Levi got off of Jake and relaxed into him. “Where have you been! You said that you were going to come see me in 2 months 6 months ago!” Levi asked, crossing her arms and giving Jake a light pout. “I know but I had business to attend to,” Jake said, looking past her and at Lila and Jade, “You remembered what I asked for last time.” “How could I forget? You asked me so nicely,” Levi said, giving him a sultry chuckle before her expression turned into a serious one, “But don’t make me a promise that you can’t keep next time okay? You break a promise and you go straight to hell, that’s just the rules. I don’t make them, I just abide by them” “Alright alright,” Jake threw his hands up, “I’m sorry that I had to go away doll, but if I didn’t go away I wouldn’t have been able to get these for you and your friends,” he produced two small velvet boxes and handed them to Lila and Jade. The two looked at each other as they opened them, opening them to pairs of dazzling earrings. “These earrings are brighter than Los Angeles at night,” Lila remarked, looking at him with a bit of a wide mouth. “He has taste,” Jade said, winking over at Jake as she put them in immediately. As the two fawned over their new pieces, Jake produced a medium sized one to Levi and opened it. In the box, there was a tennis bracelet thatshined brightly with diamonds and white gold. “Can I have your arm love?” “Jake, I can’t take that,” Levi said, blushing at the piece. She hadn’t expected this. It’s not like she hadn’t gotten gifts from clients before, just nothing of this caliber. “Please? For me?” He said as he fastened the bracelet around Levi’s wrist. Levi looked at it, genuinely in awe. It was a perfect fit “If you’re sure…” Levi said, feeling on the piece of jewelry. “Thank you.” “Anything to keep that pretty smile on your face,” He said, placing two fingers under her chin. “Don’t say that, I might ask for your soul next,” Levi said in a sultry tone, giving him a smirk and looking at him from under her long lashes. “Don’t tempt me,” Jake said with a bit of a growl in his tone as he put his hand down and stepped out of the way to reveal the last person she thought she would see, confirming her fears. “Ladies, I would like to introduce you to Dakota. Dakota, this is Nikki, Eva and Electra.” Jake said, motioning over to Lila, Jade and Levi in order.
Levi’s eyes got wide for a second. She could have died in that moment. The girl that she was seeing was here…. With Jake…… In VIP….. Shit shit shit…..This was not good. She hadn't had a chance to even explain that she was a dancer. But Levi also had a few questions floating around in her mind....like what was going on?
She didn't have time to think about that now, so Levi cleared her throat and threw her sultry glance back on , looking at Koa up and down, while she bit her lip trying to regain her composure. “How dare you bring attractive women into my house, Jake. You know how I feel about that.” Jake laughed out loud at Levi’s reaction, “Darling, you’re the only one I see.” “Yeah c’mon man, redheads are all of our weakness’” Lila said, moving over to Koa and looking her up and down, stopping and staring at her muscles, “especially when they come loaded like this.” Jake chuckled again, “Again, my fault. Mea culpa. I’ll give you the chance to get more acquainted later, however my associate and I have some things to discuss. Come,” Jake said, offering his hand to Levi and Levi took it instinctively. Jade and Lila followed suit, one grabbing one of Koa’s hands and the other grabbing the other free one. He led her over to a pair of overly large armchairs and sat down in one, spreading his legs. Levi took her usual perch on the arm as she leaned her back against the wall and placed her legs in front of her. “Now,” Jake said, loosening the tie that he had on around his neck, “Let’s talk yes? Now that we’re all comfortable,” Jake said, placing a hand on Levi’s leg.

Koa shook the other womans hand, barely giving her a second glance as her attention was solely on Jake and his annoying ego. Koa followed after a moment of lingering, she really did not want to see what they were about to walk into. Jake opened the next set of doors and was immediately pounced on, Koa truly had to school her features as cold and uncaring as she realized who it was that had pounced on Jake. They exchanged words before Levi got off of him, the bastard started handing out gifts! Damn it all to hell, he was nicer than she wanted him to be. She wanted to kick Jakes ass just for existing. The gift for Levi had to have been expensive as hell, Koa wasn't pleased that he was giving her girlfriend gifts in front of her. Of course the asshole didn't know, which made this all the more harder. Levi looked pleased with the gift, as she should since it was a beautiful item. Still, Koa wanted to hurt the guy. Then he was introducing them to her, and she could barely grit out a smile, her eyes caught Levi's for a mere second, before looking away. She couldn't look at Levi right then, there were way too many questions in her eyes, and Koa didn't have answers that she could give her. Koa almost jumped when the other two girls took her hands, instead she relaxed, Jake couldn't see her acting all jumpy, he would take it as a sign of weakness. They were led to armchairs, Koa watched as everyone took their seats, she took her seat last.
"I don't know if now's the best time to talk business," She looked at their company, "But if you insist. I have to say moving your shipments," She gave Jake a meaningful look, hoping they wouldn't discuss in detail what those shipments entailed in front of the girls. Her eyes suddenly zeroed in on where Jakes hand was on Levi's leg and her hand itched to take a knife to his throat, she cleared her throat instead and continued the conversation, "It shouldn't be hard for us to move your shipments. We have our own docks, our own cargo holds. You can pick them up with ease, or we can deliver wherever you need to in the United States. Delivery will cost a little extra, but I'm sure that won't be a problem," Koa eased back in the chair going business mode, "Of course we would need reassurance that your people aren't talking about these shipments with other clients, I'm only trying to protect my people, which I'm sure you can understand. With us, you'll have what you need, in all aspects. We can meet once a month and see how things are going, and if you're happy with our services. We only want the best for our clients," And next time I'm picking the damn venue for these kinds of talks you bastard, She thought to herself while keeping an easy smile on her face.

Jake nodded as Koa began to speak, absorbing what she was saying, folding his hands together. Jake notcied that she wanted to keep the terms general so as not to endanger the other women in the room. Good call, they were into crime but they also had rules.“I can assure you, no one else knows about this. All of the product that we possess is in house produced. We only have the best of the best working on what we want to ship. As far as that goes, I’ve actually been scoping you all out for a while. Had a guy that I used to work with that worked for Eric and said that you guys were the creme de la creme. His word is like gold in our community,” Jake said. He was mulling over the terms that Koa had set forth and they were solid. “The proof speaks for itself. All I ask for is transparency and you lot provide that. I’m satisfied. Name your price, I’ll write a check for it right now,” Jake then pulled out a checkbook and a pen, clicking the pen and awaiting for the firey haired woman to drop a number.
So Koa wasn’t going to look at her? Ouch. That hurt. She had a job to do so she focused on that. She moved from the arm of the chair, letting Jake’s hand fall from the spot on Levi’s leg and towards the table that was in the middle of the room. There she opened a cherry wood box up to reveal the finest rolled cigars, freshly shipped from Cuba that morning. She reached for the cutter and cut it expertly, as if she hadn’t learned how to do it from her mother when she was younger. Her mother used to do it all the time when her father would enjoy one out in the garden or when he would have one when he was having business meetings. She finished preparing the big cigar and grabbed one of the smaller vanilla smelling cigarillos, making her way back over to her spot. On the little side table next to her, Levi set the cigar next to her in an ashtray as she lit the cigarillo, inhaling the smoke and exhaling it in rings before blowing out the excess. She tapped the lit cigarillo into the ashtray before bringing back to her lips. As Jake waited for Koa to name a price, he looked over at Levi watching her smoke. He then focused his attention back to Koa who had seemed to have her focus on Elecktra, who happened to be looking right back at her, blowing rings out of her mouth with the cigarillo smoke. As she exhaled again, she sat up, looking Koa dead in her eyes. “It’s impolite to stare. I don’t bite unless you want me to gorgeous,” Levi said, giving Koa a sultry smirk, biting her lips. “Don’t threaten us with a good time,” Jade piped up, giving Levi a devilish grin back. “Careful Angel,” Jake said, setting the pen back down on the table, “this one is about action and getting things done.” “Oh?” Levi said, getting up again from her seat next to Jake and coming over to the trio of women. Lila put out her pointer and middle finger and Levi passed the cigarillo to her. She wouldn’t need for what she was about to do. Koa needed to loosen up and so did she, so she was going to do something bold to break the ice and lighten the vibe in the room, something to essentially cut the tension that may have been building.
Lila brought the cigarillo to her lips and started blowing rings out of her lips as Jake watched this situation unfold from the other side. “Yes doll, probably one of the fiercest women in the industry right now,” Jake said as he reached over and lit his cigar, taking a couple puffs off of it and exhaling the smoke, the shadow of white wafting through the air. At this point, she was pretty much in front of Koa and she placed her hands on Koa’s thighs gently, as if she was trying to get Koa to relax and breathe a little. It was easy as Koa’s legs were spread. She looked at Koa in the eyes, one of her bangs concealing half of her face as she remarked, “I like action.” Levi then did something that drove clients wild. Keeping her hands on Koa’s thighs and holding her eye contact with Koa strongly, Levi slowly got down on her knees. As her knees settled into the soft carpet, Levi tucked her feet underneath her and brought her chin to settle into her hands looking up at Koa. “As far as things to do…..well,” at this point, Levi licked her top lip with the tip of her tongue slowly and looked Koa up and down again before finishing her sentence, “I could definitely think of a few things.” Yes Levi was teasing her, heavily…….but! she could cover it under the part of where in Levi’s job description where she had to entertain the guest.

Koa barely could pay attention to Jake as he agreed to their deal, her eyes kept flitting back to Levi who was smoking. Those lips around that little cigar, yeah it did something to a woman, she didn't even want to know what it did for Jake. Jake began talking about her and Koa's attention went back to the client, momentarily. So her reputation really did proceed her, good. Maybe Jake would think twice before double crossing them, because if he did, well Koa would enjoy cutting him up. She quickly put her attention back on Levi as Levi got up from the chair she'd been in, Koa rose both brows wondering what Levi was going to do. Hopefully not anything too sexy, or she might burst into flames right there in front of everyone. Koa bit down on her lower lip as Levi got onto her knees, saying she liked action. Damn it all if that didn't do something to Levi, the other people in the room slowly disappeared, and it was just her and Levi. Levi was teasing the fuck out of her and she was not prepared. Her breath hitched as she flicked her tongue out to her lip, holy hell. "Yeah I could think of a few things too," She muttered, her eyes were all for Levi, and she couldn't help the feeling of wanting to touch her. Fuck why did they have to be in a meeting? Jake was ruining everything. Koa wasn't sure of the rules of touching, but Jake had put his hand on Levi's thigh, so she figured it wasn't too strict. Koa hooked a finger under Levi's chin, "Babe, when we're done with business, you can definitely count on me for some pleasure," She then broke eye contact long enough to look at Jake and name a price. It was high, and she wasn't going to beat around the bush about how much they were expecting to keep his shipments safe and secure. Now it was his turn to decide on whether he would take the deal or not. Eric always said to aim high, and hope for somewhere in-between.
Koa returned her attention to Levi briefly, "Come up here with me," She patted the arm of her own chair, hoping that this wouldn't seem like she was trying to steal Jakes girl, when really it was the other way fucking around. Jake was trying to steal HER girl, and she wasn't having it. The other two girls could please Jake, she wanted Levi all to herself, if Jake didn't object that is. She looked over at him, daring him to object to her request of Levi, she had a hard look on her face, the one she gave to the boys when they were fucking around instead of doing their job.

Lila and Jade moved from where Koa and Levi were and over to where Jake was sitting, one on each side of Jake. Levi's breath hitched in her throat when she brought Levi's chin up with her finger, damn... this woman was lethal. The way that she was looking at Levi right now looked like she was ready to devour every part of the woman on her knees. It was doing more than enough for Levi and she could see that it was doing something for Koa too. She smirked and got up from where she was sitting, looking over her shoulder, "Careful Red... remember what I said about promises earlier?" She then grabbed the bottle of whiskey from the table and sashayed away, going to prepare some whiskey for the group. Jade got up to help Levi with that as she was feeling the tension in the room. As the two women were making it to the big bar at the other side of the room, away from Lila, Jake and Koa, Jade looked over at Levi and then reached below the bar to grab five whiskey glasses and over to the fridge to get the circular ice cubes. Jade found them, closed the fridge and made her way back over to where Levi was. "What was that?" and asked in a whisper. Levi looked over at Jade as she set the big bottle down on the bar and opening the glass top. She poured the whiskey expertly making sure no one glass got more than another. "I will definitely tell you later," Levi whispered to the other girl, putting the top back on the bottle and sliding it out of the way gently. "I'll hold you to that," Jade whispered back, grabbing three glasses and walking back over to the trio with Levi following suit with two glasses.
Jake cleared his throat and set his cigar down and mulled over the deal. The number was a little steep, but he knew that he was paying for quality and nothing short of that. He also knew how hard it was to get this meeting and if Jake walked away from this, it would not be good for his shipments. He nodded slowly and signed the check for the amount asked for. He tore the check out of the checkbook and handed it over to Koa. "Looks like we're in business then?" At this point, Jade and Levi were returning with the whiskey. "Perfect timing! We are celebrating!" Jade handed glasses to Jake and Lila, "That was quick, we were only gone for a couple of minutes," she said as Levi handed a glass to Koa and came and sat next to her on the arm of the chair, putting her legs out in front of her. "Well," Jake said, swirling the whiskey in his cup, "When you see an opportunity, don't let it pass you by. That's what my old man always says. An opportunity like this will not come knocking again, so it only felt right." Levi nodded," It makes sense, especially if the opportunity is lucrative and rare." "Listen, this whiskey smells divine, so let's make a toast to this yeah?" Lila said, raising her glass. "Cheers to this partnership," Jake said, raising his glass towards Koa, giving her a nod as he clinked glasses with Lila and Jade. Levi raised her glass and looked over at Koa. "Cheers," she said as she took a sip of the smooth whiskey. "As a sign of good faith, I would like to offer her," At this point, Jake motioned over to Levi who was next to Koa. "I've seen you looking at her all night and I think it would be good for you all to get acquainted. What do you say? Do we have a deal?"

Koa was amazed at the sheer will power Levi had in that moment, because all she wanted was to strip her on the floor and have her way with her. Maybe it was in her gaze, because Levi had that hungering look as well. Levi and one of the other girls moved off to the side of the room to get drinks or something. Jake signed the check and handed it over like it was nothing, Koa had to keep from gaping at him. She hadn't expected him to just agree on the given number, she figured they would debate a little, discuss prices over some drinks. But he'd just agreed and signed the check, as long as the thing didn't bounce then they just brokered a deal that would keep them in the money for a long, long time. "Pleasure doing business," Koa said with a satisfactory smile, "Looks like we're going to be seeing more of each other." The girls came back with drinks just in time. Koa took hers, but her eyes were on Levi, she was only satisfied when Levi was sitting next to her, safe away from Jake the snake. Koa really didn't know how long that had been going on, and frankly it was none of her business, this was Levi's place of work. But while Koa was in the room, she'd rather that Levi stay next to her.
They all clinked glasses and took deep sips of their drinks. Koa was just putting her drink down when Jake offered her Levi. Like a damn piece of meat. Like she was property, his property, like she could just be given to whomever he pleased. Well if she didn't almost come unglued in that moment, but the check, seeing it, gave her pause. She relaxed her stature, laid a hand on Levi's thigh, "Deal," she said quietly, "I'd like to take her," She purposely glanced up at Levi slowly, her eyes taking in every inch of that delectable skin, "To a private room." She glanced back at Jake and put on a smirk, "I'm sure you can understand why, us girls kind of like our privacy," She pulled out the twenties she'd been holding onto and stuck them into one of the girls lingerie, "Split that," She said to the two of them. "Don't worry, I'll give Elecktra her own prize," Koa stood taking Levi's hand and waited for Levi to take her somewhere else, anywhere else away from Jake and his annoying ass.

Lila looked Koa up and down and winked over at her as Koa slipped the money into her waist band, "Thanks gorgeous, we will." Levi was hot. The way that Koa looked at Levi..... my God....... She needed to get Koa alone. "I'd like that," Levi said in a low voice as Koa took her hand, pulling her up from the arm chair. Jake didn't even get a chance to say goodnight before Levi grabbed a set of keys off of the table and led Koa away, deeper into the large VIP room. Levi went left entering a long hallway. At the end there was another door and Levi used the key to unlock it, turning the door handle to reveal another room. This time, instead of it being open like the lounge was, it was more intimate and quiet. It was much like a hotel room with a bar, refrigerator and a bed and tv. It was nice. Levi set the keys down on the table near the door and while she wanted nothing more than to spend the night with the woman behind her, Levi couldn't. There were too many questions floating around in her mind that she needed Koa to answer and Levi also had some explaining to do. As soon as the door was closed, Levi didn't face Koa. Levi crossed her arms over her body," Not that I'm not happy to see you, but why are you here?" Levi asked in a quiet confused tone. She wasn't mad at Koa, how could she? Koa was still single until they made everything official, but it still boggled her why she was here specifically. Levi was confused, why didn't she tell her where she was going? Was this a coincidence? Was this on purpose? Should Levi be worried for her and AmaLee's safety because of this? Were certain people onto them? Had they been found out? Levi dug her fingernails into herself a little deeper, swallowing deeply trying to not let herself spiral before Koa answered for herself.
Koa followed Levi, it seemed like she was still hot and heavy, wanting to do more than just talk, but that was obviously a façade. Because when they entered the room and closed the door Levi let her hand go and refused to look at her, covering herself. Koa immediately frowned, she wanted to comfort Levi, she wasn't trying to upset her. But obviously she had questions, well so did Koa. But she would withhold her own questioning until later. Obviously this was important to Levi and she needed to be reassured. "I know you probably think this is weird as fuck. But tonight was a complete surprise. I didn't expect for Jake to bring us here, I didn't even know about this establishment until he sent me the address this afternoon. I'm not some crazy person that follows her girlfriend to work," Girlfriend, oops, that slipped out. Oh well, there was no taking it back now. "Usually I scope out the venue before meeting someone somewhere I don't know, but I was kind of preoccupied this evening," She was referring to their date, "Which I don't mind, but maybe if I had done some investigating then I would've found your name and I could have avoided this altogether...." Koa wanted to go up and wrap her arms around Levi, "I didn't even know where you worked, I swear. I'm sorry for not vetting the venue beforehand, or asking if you had heard of the club earlier. But honestly? Why didn't you tell me where you worked?" Koa added a bit of hurt into her question. Did she not trust her enough to tell her?
Levi listened to Koa try to explain herself… wait did she say girlfriend? Levi wanted nothing more than to be this woman’s girlfriend. Scoping out? That was an interesting choice of words. What would she need to scope out the place for? Hm. Levi kept that in her back pocket as Koa apologized and after she was done, she posed a question to Levi. Levi loosened her arms around herself as she slowly turned to face Koa, looking her in her face. Koa was just as confused as Levi was and Levi definitely needed to explain. “ I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you and that you had to find out this way. I fucked up. It’s not that I don’t trust you. Eventually I was going to tell you. I always get so nervous to bring up what I do for money because of the fact that some of my past girlfriends have used what I do against me to think that I’m doing things I’m not, justifying and projecting their insecurity onto me. Also some of them were protective over me, which is fine but I don’t need protection when I’m here. I can handle myself because I know what I got myself into. I’m not ashamed of what I do, let me make that very clear because I chose this and I’m really good at it. They just didn’t understand that at the end of the day, it’s not my clients I’m coming home to,” at this point, Levi stepped a little closer to Koa, closing the space between them and she looked up at the taller woman,”It’s you and will only be you. And I need you to put your trust in me while I am here doing this that I don’t do certain things with my clients that I do with you. That’s all I ask.” Levi had laid her cards out on the table. Whether Koa wanted to continue this or not was up to her. She really liked this one and Levi wouldn’t be okay with Koa walking out of her life. Levi searched Koa’s face, trying to read her but in this moment she couldn’t. “Say something.” Levi said quietly, folding her arms into herself again.
Koa felt like she'd been punched in the gut when Levi said that other girlfriends had used her job against her. She was going to be sick with this information, what the hell was wrong with people? They should never use such information to hurt someone they supposedly care about. Koa's hands were balled up to fists, she would have each and every one of their names, and then hand them their asses. She was pissed, but not at Levi, she was pissed that these women had hurt Levi. She noticed that Levi didn't correct her on the girlfriend term, she couldn't deny that this excited her. She looked tenderly down at Levi as she watched her and waited for her to speak, "I..." Koa took a deep breath and cleared her throat, "I do not agree with what past women have done to you, this is as much of a profession as any other job. I just wish that Jake wasn't on your list. I have knowledge of him that you might not, and if it were up to me then you would never have to see or touch him again. But I do understand that you do this as a living. So I won't interfere, I'm sorry that I ended up here at your place of work. Admittedly I am pretty protective, but I can tell you're safe here. Now when you get off I may want to be here to make sure you get to your car safely... or have someone here. That's just because the walk from the building to the car can be dangerous. Levi, this isn't a deal breaker for me, as long as you understand I have meetings with all kinds of clients, and some of them are a bit unsavory." Koa reached out a hand and gripped Levi by the hip, barely, and gently tugged her towards her, "Look I like you, a lot. And I'd like to see this work.... Just know you can trust me. I'm not going to do what those other girls did. I'll show you can trust me, not just say it."
The silence was deafening to Levi as Koa gathered her thoughts on what to say. Was she mad at her? Soon, Koa was speaking. Jake? What did he have to do with anything? It seemed as if he had a serious history with Koa. It was good that she didn’t see him often then. Unsavory clients??? What type of work was she in? She knew that Koa owned businesses so was she talking about that? Maybe? Levi was brought back to the present moment by Koa grabbing her hip and pulling Levi towards her gently. So she wanted this to work too… that was a relief to hear. “I want that too,” Levi said, placing her hand on Koa’s chest, feeling her heartbeat. “It’s a relief to hear you say that this isn’t a dealbreaker so… thank you. Also it’s not your fault that you ended up here. Like you said, you were coming in here blind and I believe you. Just a nice surprise tonight,” Levi said. She stood there in Koa’s arms, removing her hand and placing her head on Koa’s chest. She listened to her lover’s heartbeat and was enjoying the feeling of being close to her. She took in her scent and closed her eyes, taking in a moment of peace. She opened her eyes, her mind calm but then she gave Koa a sultry look. “What are you doing for the rest of the night? Are you done with all of your business Superwoman? Because if I recall,” She said, looking up at Koa, tracing her finger from Koa’s collarbone down to the middle of her sternum,” You were saying something about a prize. Well what did I win, hm?”
They were on the same page, Koa sighed in relief. At least they wouldn’t be disagreeing about trying to make their relationship work. Relationship, the word thrilled and scared her all at the same time. A relationship was real, it wasn’t some one night stand, it meant she actually had to show up for someone besides herself. This was a big deal for Koa, her heart was racing, she hoped that Levi couldn’t tell. They were in each other’s arms for a few moments before Levi pulled back some and got this look on her face, Koa giggled softly. “Ah yes, I did say a prize didn’t I love?” She was in over her head here, but she would wing it. “You get me,” she announced with a smile. Koa grabbed Levi a bit more firmly and pulled her flush against her, damn if she didn’t do things to Koa. The two women were flush against each other. Levi’s lips were there, Koa bit her bottom lip, she wanted nothing but to kiss that mouth. But she figured she’d tease Levi some first. Koa pressed a kiss against Levi’s throat, trailing kisses to her earlobe. “Let’s have fun,” she whispered against her ear before turning and pressing Levi against the wall, she lifted Levi’s legs up and around her waist. Her lips went to the corner of Levi’s mouth, her hands were gripping thighs. “This, you, is everything,” Koa said softly before looking Levi in the eye and going in for a full mouth kiss. She pushed her tongue gently against Levi’s mouth trying to gain access.
Her lady had such a pretty smile, so bright and pure. She wanted to see it again. Koa pulled Levi closer to her and gave Levi a look that made Levi want the woman in front of her more. Levi gasped lightly as Koa pressed a kiss to her neck and trailed up to her earlobe and physically shivered with pleasure as Koa whispered to her in a low tone. She didn't even have time to breathe because Koa was pressing Levi into the back of the wall and then lifted Levi to fit around her waist. Koa had a very strong grip on her and Levi's face gained some color. Goddamn, she looked exquisite and she was Levi's. All Levi wanted to do right now was taste her. Koa looked at her as if she was the best thing in the planet and Levi could swear that she could feel her heart set ablaze. "This...you.... is everything," Koa said softly to her, the lips soft against the corner of her mouth, making eye contact with her. Levi was breathless, the words hitting the deepest part of her being. "As are you, my love," Levi softly said back to the other woman as their lips finally met, Koa pushing her tongue softly against Levi's mouth and Levi opened a little wider, letting Koa in. She grabbed the sides of Koa's face gently and brought herself closer to Koa. She broke the kiss and looked at Koa, her eyes full of fire and placed her forehead to Koa's, closing her eyes and taking a moment to connect with her. Really feel her energy... it was calming. Safe. Secure. Everything that Levi yearned for came specially delivered wrapped up in a package at an unexpected Levi then moved back in on Koa's lips and deepened the kisses that Koa had just been giving to her, wanting more of the woman that she was close to.
Koa was in the middle of kissing Levi, her girlfriend pulled their lips apart and leaned her forehead against hers, she kept her eyes closed and just stayed there like that. Then they were kissing again, Koa's tongue met Levi's, exploring her mouth. She was in the middle of making out with Levi when the song, Silence, by Marshmallow started playing from her phone. She broke the kiss and cursed, "Fuck." Before slowly letting Levi put her feet to the floor. "That would be Eric, my boss. Probably asking how the stupid meeting went," She explained to Levi, she kissed her one last time before pulling her phone out and answering, "Yeah?" Eric was in a party or something, because there was a lot of background noise as he asked if Koa made the deal, "Yeah." She replied simply, her eyes only on Levi, she tugged her back against her with one hand. "Things are fine, we're done. We got a check and more like it will be coming our way monthly, yeah he agreed to my highest price. Crazy I know, hey I have more important things going on, I gotta go," She knew she'd probably be reprimanded for that statement later, but it would be worth it, because Levi was far more important than this dumbass phone call. Eric grumbled something, but Koa didn't catch it and hit the red dot to end the call. Koa slipped her phone back to where it was tucked in the band of her pants. "Now, where were we?' She asked in a low tone, she wasn't sure how long Levi could be away from work. Koa figured Levi knew though, and would tell her when she had to go back. It was already pretty late though? Maybe Levi would be getting off soon, that would make Koa's life all the more happier. She put her fingers beneath the band of Levi's lingerie and tugged her closer by it, pressing her lips to Levi's. A soft moan escaped her lips as she deepened the kiss.
Levi and Koa’s kisses were getting deeper and deeper as they were fully enamored with one another but that was before a ringing phone interrupted their make-out session. Koa cursed as she let Levi down to the ground. Levi and Koa shared one last kiss before Koa answered the phone in full business mode. As Koa was on the phone, she had her eyes on Levi and Levi kind of wanted to ask what was running through her mind. As she was talking to her boss, Koa pulled Levi back to her and Levi bit her lip lightly as she got closer to Koa. Soon she heard Koa giving the man on the phone a goodbye saying that ,” she had more important things going on,” before hanging up. “ Levi watched as Koa put away her phone and asked her in a low tone where they were, slipping her fingers between Levi’s hip and the lingerie that covered it. Levi brought Koa back in for another kiss, hearing the other woman let out a soft moan. Fuck. Levi found the bottom of Koa’s shirt and untucked her shirt, placing her hands on her bare skin underneath the fabric. Levi broke the kiss and then looked at her girlfriend, hungry for more. “Babe, I really really want to do this with you. I want nothing more than to put this body on you,” Levi said, rubbing her thumbs over Koa’s bare skin,” But this isn’t the place. Definitely right person, just wrong time. Is that okay?” Levi asked as she looked up at Koa.
Koa was in the middle of kissing Levi, when suddenly she was no longer there, but her thumbs were rubbing against her bare and she was highly distracted as Levi spoke. She found herself nodding in agreement, but her body was aching for more. Damn it was going to be a cold shower kind of night. "I don't think I should visit you at work," She muttered with a smirk on her face, it was just that Levi was too hot for her to be around like this. She wanted nothing more than to rip the strips of fabric off and have her way with her. "Okay, I need some space, not because I don't like you. I just need space to clear my head and to keep my hands off. Otherwise I'm going down on you right here, right now." Koa blushed slightly, she was flustered by everything they'd already done, and she was hungry for more. "Do you want me to wait for you to get off? We can head over to my house, not for anything special, just to talk and sleep, to be able to wake up together..." Was that silly? Koa hoped it didn't sound silly or childish, she just really wanted to be big spoon, and cuddle her all night long.
Levi rubbed her hands against Koa’s bare skin as she said that she shouldn’t visit Levi at work, a smirk appearing on Koa’s face. But then she said that she needed space, not that because she didn’t like Levi but because she was on the verge of taking Levi down right here, right now. “That sounds like a threat to me, Red. Just know that I’ll have no hesitation,” at this point she removed her hands from Koa’s skin and placed her pointer gently on Koa’s sternum and walked her fingers back up near Koa’s neck, looking up at her with desire in her eyes,” defending myself.” At this point, Levi smirked as she stepped back and away from Koa, giving her the physical space she needed, considering what Koa had asked. Levi’s face gained a smile as she answered, “No, it should be around that time anyways. Do you have the time? Also I think that would be lovely. I would like that a lot,” Levi said, going over to the mirror that hung by the door and looking at herself. She still looked good despite the hot and heavy makeout session she had just endured.
Koa swallowed, hard. This was not the kind of thing she was used to, Levi was teasing her again with her hands, she wanted to drag Levi back to her as she gave her space, a 'no' almost escaped her mouth, she had to bite the inside of her cheek to keep from protesting. "I have the time," Koa answered, she watched as Levi checked herself out, gods this woman was going to be the death of her. "I guess we should head out?" She didn't look happy about it, and had to put her hands in her pockets to keep from grabbing Levi once again and pressing her back against the wall, damn the things she could do with her mouth to Levi, but now was not the time to show her that part of herself. This was Levi's place of work, she needed to respect that. If Levi had wanted to do more, she probably would have in this room. And that wasn't what Koa truly wanted, she wanted them to be in a comfortable, private environment when they finally did something like that. "Thanks for hearing me out," Koa said as she went to open the door for Levi.
“Always my love,” Levi said as she gave Koa a quick kiss on the lips and grabbed her hand as they exited the room back into the VIP lounge. A roar of laughter came from the other side of the hallway as someone shouted,” That’s bullshit you totally cheated! I demand a rematch!” Levi chuckled as she led Koa out of the lounge and down the hallway and stairs they had come up hours before. “It’s so funny what people come here to do, especially the VIPs. 9/10 of our VIPs just come here to talk to us, as well as other things like play video games with us, watch movies and other things. It’s nothing like you’d expect but of course people get the wrong idea sometimes.” At this point, they were back on the main floor, the club only having a few stragglers on the floor. The girls were cleaning up the floor, cleaning up glasses and tables. “Give me 20 minutes love and we’ll be out of here?” Levi said, turning back to Koa and running her thumb over the back of her hand.
Koa looked over to where Jake and the girls were, interesting. Maybe he really did just relax there. That made her feel better, she walked out with Levi to the main room and nodded her head, "You're good, take all the time you need babe, I'll be outside in my truck." It looked like the place was shutting down, damn how long had they been talking and then talking. It was crazy how much had happened in one night, and it wasn't even over yet. Koa squeezed Levi's hand, "See you." She said before heading towards the exit. It was time for her to wind down some before she got home with Levi. She'd had a bit of an adrenaline rush from their make out session, and she didn't think that Levi would appreciate her zooming around the flat when they were supposed to be settling down for the night. Or her jumping on her as soon as they got home, trying to work out some sexual tension between them. They'd agreed to a relaxing night, just cuddling, and waking up together in the morning. Koa didn't need to go making things complicated.
Levi squeezed Koa's hand back, " See you." Levi let go of Koa's hand as she made her back to the dressing room, the girls counting their money and getting dressed into their street clothes for the night. Levi sat down at her mirror, a plastic bag with her name and the number $5,000 on it sitting in the middle. She took off her shoes and she rubbed her feet, happy that she was out of her heels for the night. As she was getting undressed, Jade came into the room with Lila tailing behind her, laughing. "What happened after I left?" Levi asked as her two friends settled into their respective seats in front of their mirrors. "Honestly, he just wanted to play video games and talk," Lila said, taking off the earrings that she had been gifted and reaching for her makeup remover. "We had a good conversation. But enough about us, how about that redhead? Her muscles... can we have a moment of silence for how glorious they are?" "You looked ready to devour her, Levi," Jade said as she pulled on a cropped shirt and a pair of leggings. "That's actually what I wanted to fill you in on. You remember how I told y'all I went on a date with a woman that I met at the coffee shop?" At this point, Lila gasped and faced Levi. "Shut. The. Fuck. Up. Nooooo." "Girl! Yes," Levi said as she started to pull on a pair of socks and the outfit that she had packed with her out of her bag. "Lord.... I see what you have done for others..... Please do it for me," Lila said, looking up at the ceiling, shaking her head. She then looked back at Levi, "Where do you even find someone like her?" "Funny enough, she bought my coffee and I took a shot in the dark. I didn't even know if she was into women, but here we are," at this point, Levi was fully dressed in the outfit she had brought for after work and she looked at her hair. Should she put it up? Yeah that might be a good idea. As Levi began to put her hair up, she heard Jade ask, "Well okay, we now know the mystery woman you've been talking about but the question is, what was she doing here? Did she know that you worked here?" Levi shook her head, finishing putting her hair in a messy bun," That was something I hadn't have gotten a chance to tell her. You know I'm guarded with this because of Ty. Plus she was meeting a client here to discuss business. It was just a huge coincidence." "I hope that's all it is because we're not trying to have another jealousy issue here," Jade said as she rubbed lip gloss on her lips and smacked her lips together. Levi pulled her shoes on and tied them up before getting up from her seat, grabbing her money bag and slipping it into her duffel. She checked herself out in the mirror and satisfied with how she looked, she turned her mirror light off. "You're right, but... I know this sounds crazy, Koa just doesn't feel like that," Levi said as she put her bag on her shoulder and followed the other two out of the dressing room, saying bye to the other girls that worked that night. "Have a good and safe night, ladies," Alana said, opening the door for the three of them. "You do the same A," Lila said, waving over to the security guard. Levi pulled out her phone and found Koa's contact and started a message to her.
Levi hit send and she rejoined Lila and Jade, catching up and talking about things that they had done with their week while they waited for their partners or whoever was going to pick them up for the night was on their way.
Levi to Red 🔥

(Love this)
Koa was in her truck listening to old 2000 R&B songs, she was singing along and moving her body in her truck, not giving two fucks to if someone saw her or not. Then her phone dinged, it was Levi. She was ready to be picked up, Levi jumped out of her truck, made sure her gun was tucked into her boot, and went to retrieve her girlfriend. She walked quickly, wanting to pick Levi up as quickly as possible. When she came into view Koa grinned, she was gorgeous as usual, she gave the security guard a nod, "Babe you ready?" She asked, throwing Levi's friends a friendly smile, not wanting them to think she was here to steal their girl away. If she were them she would be protective of such a person as Levi was. "It was nice to meet you all," She added, before taking Levi's hand and leading her away from everyone, "Should we talk more about tonight? Or are we good?" She asked as they walked the little bit back to the truck, Koa opened the door and helped Levi in. She went around the front of the truck and hopped into the drivers seat to head off to the other side of the city..

Levi smiled as her woman came into view, jeez it will never get old seeing her. Lila and Jade looked over, openly checking out Koa. "Hot damn Levi.... she looks even better out here," Jade said to Levi, breaking contact with Koa. Soon her phone started to ring and she answered it. "I concur," Lila said, taking a drag off a cigarette that she had lit, making sure to blow the smoke away from everyone. Jade got off of her phone call and grabbed Lila's hand, "We have to go because my girlfriend is here, but it was very nice to meet you. Maybe we can meet under some better circumstances hm?"At this point Levi nodded at her two friends,"I think that would be great. We'll work something out." The three of them said their goodbyes and the duo headed towards a convertible with two women sitting in it, one in the front and one in the back.
Levi took Koa's hand and let her be led back to the truck that she had been in just days before. After settling into the truck, Levi relaxed and grabbed Koa's hand, turning her body to face Koa in the comfy seat. "I believe you when you say that this was a big coincidence. I still do have questions that I would love to have answered, if you're open to it. I'm sure you still have questions too. We can talk about them now or whenever, it's up to you. I'm an open book. I trust you."

Koa was glad that Levi had good friends, it made her feel better about hanging out after work. She was annoyed with herself for not scoping out the place beforehand, this could have all been avoided and Levi could have told her about her job in her own time. Perhaps she wouldn't have so many questions so soon about Koa and her work. It was too late now however, and she was left with the aftermath, what that exactly meant well she wasn't sure. Koa drove with one hand on the wheel and the other in the middle between her and Levi, in case she wanted to hold hands. "Does this mean we're not having a sleepover tonight?" She pretty much knew the answer, but she was going to ask anyway. Of course they wouldn't, there were too many questions between the two of them. "I'm open to your questions, I'm just not sure tonight is the night we should be asking, or answering them," She said honestly, they were both so raw from their makeout session and the shock of ending up in one another's private worlds, well was it really smart to hash it out right then? Plus it was pretty late, Koa drove through the city, the lights whirring by, she was entranced with the city usually, but tonight it didn't offer the comfort she yearned.
Levi took Koa’s hand and rubbed her thumb over the back of her hand as she listened to what Koa was saying. Koa was right, it wasn’t the best time for them to discuss anything. She was tired, Levi was positive Koa was exhausted too especially with how professional she had to be with her client earlier. Sure she had questions about what Koa did for a living and what brought her to the club but she could table it, if Koa was willing to. But they needed a little space, at least for the night. Levi took a deep breath and let it out silently before looking over to her partner. “I really want to spend time with you but I think we need a little space. You have questions that I’m ready to answer, I have questions that you’re willing to answer but there’s a lot that happened tonight. Plus not to mention our sexual tension that stands to be worked out. If I go home with you only one of those things is happening tonight and they’re on opposite ends of the spectrum,” Levi said, leaning back in the seat. “I think that we should take the night, get some rest, talk to each other when we’re in a clearer headspace. I want to make this work with you Red, we should just do it when we’re of clearer minds.” Levi didn’t want to leave her… was she her girlfriend? She hadn’t officially said it yet, but the feeling was there. Levi didn’t want to get ahead of herself just in case it didn’t happen but she had a feeling that it wasn’t too far off from becoming official. But nonetheless, Levi didn’t want to leave her lady, she wanted to cuddle! Kiss her, touch her, taste her…. But with these questions looking over both of them, she knew it would be better if they took the space. They might even come together better than what they were previously.
Koa drove one handed, content with holding Levi’s hand with her other, she wove in and out of traffic. She was listening as her girlfriend spoke, it kind of broke her heart that they wouldn’t be waking up together after all. She knew that Levi was right though, they really did need to spend the night apart and think about everything that had happened, even if her body wanted other things. They would definitely be more physical than anything else if they went back to her flat that night. “Okay,” She responded with a half smile, she just wanted things to be good between the two of them, and she thought they would be if they did what Levi suggested. Took time, processed, came back to the table to talk to one another, after their bodies had worked out some of the tension. Koa was going to probably head to the gym after dropping Levi off, she had to really work out some energy. And not her normal energy. “I’ll take you home and we can talk tomorrow, yeah?” She turned onto the road that would lead them to Levi’s place, they were almost there. Koa looked at Levi quickly before redirecting her eyes to the road, “You’re okay right? I mean in general? Because if not, I’ll do whatever you need me to do to make things okay…” She hoped the answer wouldn’t be that she needed to walk away from their relationship, because that would literally break her heart.
Levi nodded as Koa agreed to the space. It would be the best for the both of them even though she wanted to wake up next to the woman sitting next to her. Levi kissed the back of the other's woman hand when she asked if she was okay, stating that she would do whatever Levi needed done to make it right. Was she okay? Physically, she was fine. Emotionally, god emotionally she was being well nourished with Koa and the security that she provided. Spiritually, she was doing great. Mentally though? She had a war inside her mind, but it wasn't from Koa. No it was from the phone call that she had received last week. There was nothing that Levi could do about it except for plan for when she would eventually have to go back. But then she looked at Koa's face as she continued driving. She had someone else to show up for besides her sibling. Levi knew that she would have to tell Koa about it eventually. How would she react? Would she want to come with her? Would she break up with her? Levi couldn't bare the thought of this amazing woman leaving her life, it would literally break her. But Levi pushed that to the back of her mind, she had a few more months before she even had to broach that topic with Koa. She would figure it out in the end like she always did.
So, Levi nodded," I'm okay for the most part. I've got some other things going on that I don't want to talk about right now, but you make it better to navigate them which I appreciate. You're being amazing, so please keep doing that. You make it... less nerve wracking," she said, running her thumb over Koa's hand and saying the last part more to herself than to Koa. It was true, the past week had been nothing but sheer happiness that Koa had provided. Red always made sure that Levi's day was going well, if she needed anything or if she could make it better and damn if Levi didn't appreciate that. It felt wonderful to be so cared for and to be able to give that energy back.
Levi noticed the car pulling to a stop in front of her apartment building. Already? She didn't want to leave, she wanted to go home with Red. But her want was trying to be stronger than her need and she needed to have that space that she mentioned earlier. Levi released her seatbelt and moved closer to Koa. "What time do you have to be to work tomorrow? Maybe we can go and get a late dinner and talk this out? How would you feel about that?"

If Levi didn’t want to talk about something then Koa wasn’t going to push her. She had her own closet of secrets, she wasn’t about to be some fucking hypocrite. It didn’t take long enough to get to Levi’s apartment, they were there all too soon. “I get that you need time and if you need to talk I’m just a phone call away. You can text me if calling feels like too much,” Koa had the truck in park so that she could look at Levi in the dim lights coming from the street light. “Yeah dinner sounds great. I have some bullshit in the afternoon, but besides that I’m free. I’m sorry if I fucked anything up tonight, but I’m glad I got to meet some of your friends.” Koa knew they were in this line and if they swayed one way or another it could all come crashing down and end up a disaster. But she wasn’t going to let that happen, if Koa did anything well, it was fight. And she wasn’t about to just let this relationship go without one. “Goodnight babe, I’ll text you,” she leaned over and kissed Levi’s cheek.
Levi nodded, "I'll have to utilize that. I probably won't be on my phone much tomorrow but I will text you in the morning, I promise." Koa was then apologizing for fucking up the night," Babe, you didn't fuck up anything. The universe just has a strange way of working things out. Obviously the Universe has a plan for us. I'm not going anywhere." Levi put a hand on the side of Koa's face, rubbing her thumb over Koa's cheek. "Let's go for 5? I'll make us some reservations somewhere nice? I'll text you the details in the morning okay? Please text me when you get home and I'll text you in the morning, yeah?" Levi said as she kissed Koa on the cheek briefly and then on her lips for a moment. She had to will herself to pull back from her lover, otherwise the two of them would not be getting out of the car for a while. Levi touched her hand to Koa's cheek one last time and she released the lock, grabbing her bag, keys and cell phone and getting out of the car. "I'll text when I'm in my apartment," Levi said, blowing a kiss to Koa and heading inside her building and up the flights of stairs that led to her and AmaLee's abode. When Levi got up to the door, she put her keys into the lock and turned it, the apartment lock clicking open. Levi pulled the handle and pushed, opening to the apartment that her and her sister shared.
Levi closed the door behind her as she hung her keys on a peg near the door and took her shoes off. She let out a deep sigh as she set them on the organizer near the door, dropping her bag on top of it as well. She needed a shower, a cup of tea and some sleep. Levi made her way to the kitchen and clicked on the electric kettle, pulling out a tea cup with strawberries on it. She pulled out a tea bag of sleepytime tea and put it in the cup, pulling out her phone and pulling up Koa's contact.
She hit send as Levi heard the kettle whistle and click off, signifying that the water was ready. Levi poured the hot water into the cup, tied the tea bag to the handle of the cup before dunking the herbs into the steaming water. Levi clicked the lights off from the kitchen and started making her way over to her room. As she made it into her room, she started shedding her clothes and going to her bathroom, turning on lukewarm water. She showered, did her skincare routine, put her phone on the charger and stretched before tucking herself away into the bed with her tea. Levi looked over at how big it was and how it sucked to not have another body in it for the night. She yearned for Koa's presence. Yes she would see her tomorrow, but tomorrow could not come fast enough. Levi finished the last of her tea before putting the cup on her nightstand and clicking off her lights, trying to get some sleep before the sun came out.

Levi’s words comforted Koa, slightly, and she didn’t feel as bad about interrupting her work, though she wouldn’t do it again. Unless it was an emergency of course. Levi cupped Koa’s cheek, she leaned into it, savoring the feel of the other woman’s touch. It was gone all too soon though, and Levi was kissing her cheek, then her lips, which was all too short. No lingering tonight, and she understood why, but it didn’t make things any easier. “Cya,” She called right before the truck door closed. Koa had the lights pointed at the building so that Levi had a nice, bright path. She pulled out her phone and waited for Levi’s text, it took a few minutes, but it came in. Koa tapped out a quick reply,
Koa got back on the highway in no time, her emotions were overtaking her, so she drove pretty fast home, weaving in and out of traffic. She was lucky that she didn’t get pulled over. Koa hopped out of her truck after parking and clicked the button to lock it. After hearing the beep she grabbed a bag out of the bed of the truck and headed inside her building. She could’ve taken the elevator, but she took the stairs, she needed the exercise after the day she’d had. Jogging up the steps, she was slightly out of breath by the time she got to her floor. She unlocked her door and went inside, kicking the door closed, she relocked it. Koa dropped her keys on the kitchen counter and jumped up to sit beside them on the counter. She had her phone out already and was texting Levi,
Koa swung her legs a moment as she dug through her bag and pulled out a few weapons, she jumped off the counter and went to her bedroom to put the weapons away. Usually she would clean them first, but she wasn’t in the mood. Besides she hadn’t used them today anyway. Koa tossed her phone on the bed and went to the mini bar in the living room, grabbing a thick tumbler, and after adding a few ice cubes, she poured whiskey in it. “To the fucking future,” She muttered before downing the entire glass, she poured a second one, this one she would savor. Koa kicked off her boots and headed to her room, she leaned against the door jam of her bathroom and glanced at herself in the mirror. She looked haggard, she definitely needed some sleep. Sleep would have to wait though, she had to take a shower, do her face routine, and send out a few texts to some of her boys. She sipped on the whiskey, then after swirling the amber liquid in her glass a few times she set it on the counter in the bathroom. She pulled off her shirt, and bra, tugged down her pants and socks, then headed for the shower. She turned it to cold, which might have been strange to some, but she really needed to cool off. Standing under the water, letting it beat against her shoulders and back, she tried not to think of Levi in that outfit she had on earlier. The cold shower helped with that, by the time she got out, her teeth were chattering.
Koa wrapped her hair up in a towel, and wrapped another one around her body to cover her while she did her skincare routine. Afterwards she sent out some texts to her boys, one requesting to pickup for her in the morning at the fish market, she was going to fucking sleep in. The second one was to Nate, asking him to meet her before work, around 11. She would discuss some things with him, about work and about Levi. Nate was her best friend, there was no way that she wasn’t going to tell him about what happened. Plus she needed someone she trusted to check up on Levi when she got off at night and she couldn’t be around.
Koa put on an oversized tee and a pair of women’s boxer briefs, she undid her hair from the towel and put some serum in it before laying down for the night. She didn’t even make it under the covers before she passed out, her hand still on her phone, in case Levi texted her.
Koa to Levi
Hope you relax some, I’ll text you when I get there, xoxo

While Levi was sleeping, her mind had other plans. It taking her places in her dream space. A masquerade seemed to be the setting before it changed to her getting into a car, covered with a cloak and gloves over her dress, the girl being covered in blood. The dream then shifted to a shadowy figure. She couldn't see who it was, but it pointed a gun at her, clicking the safety off and getting ready to pull the trigger.
But at this point, Levi jolted out of her sleep breathing heavily, her alarm ringing. The calming sounds of her alarm were a stark change from what she had just experienced. Levi placed a hand on her heart which was attempting to beat out of her chest. She took a shaky deep breath and let it out slowly, repeating this action for about a minute before her heart had calmed as well as her mind. Well that wasn't the best way to wake up.
Levi flung the covers off of her and she took one last deep breath as she settled her feet into her slippers, grabbing her phone and tea cup from last night off of the nightstand. She checked her phone for any messages, there was one from Koa saying that she had made it home and that she hoped she sleeps well. Well that aspect had been going great until about a few minutes ago.
Levi pulled up the internet browser on her phone and looked up a restaurant number that she had been to once. It would definitely provide a good space for Koa and Levi to talk about what had happened last night. She dialed the number and as she was waiting to be connected to the host, Levi exited her bedroom. "Yes good morning, I was wondering if you had any reservations for 5 o clock? You do? Perfect, I would love to reserve that. Yes my name is Levi and it's going to be for two. Yes I'll hold." At this point, Levi had made it into the kitchen and she turned on the water faucet, rinsing out the tea cup before setting it down into the sink. "Yes I'm still here. We're all set? Perfect, thank you so much and see you tonight! Take care." Levi clicked the phone call off and she hopped up on the counter, opening up her messages to her and Koa's text thread. Maybe she should just pin their conversation to the top so that she didn't have to go searching for it every time? Levi slid the message thread to the left, revealing a yellow box with a pin in it and tapped it, the contact picture flying to the center of the other contacts that she had pinned: her sister, her best friends and an old family friend. Levi hmed, maybe she would check and see how Neva was doing. It had been a while since they had talked, but it never would hurt to check. Levi opened Koa's text thread and started typing out a message, her fingers flying across the screen.
She hit send and Levi got off the counter and went over to their fridge, seeing what she could rustle up for breakfast.

Good morning! I hope you slept well. I made us reservations at Katsuya for 5. Please be safe as you go throughout your day and I will see you then, Red 🥰
She hit send and Levi got off the counter and went over to their fridge, seeing what she could rustle up for breakfast.
Koa felt her hand buzzing, it took several seconds for her to wake up and figure out that it was her phone buzzing from a text message. She yawned, blinking from the sun pouring in, she rubbed her eyes and looked at her phone. Levi had texted, she felt a flutter in her stomach and swiped up to see the text. Her fingers flew over the letters on her iPhone as she texted Levi back.
It was really hard to get out of bed, she wanted nothing more than to duck under the covers and forget the world for a few more hours. But she was supposed to be meeting Nate in an hour, so it looked like she was definitely going to have to get up. She sat up, her hair a red, tangled, mess. Good thing there was no one there to see it, standing up she went to the bathroom to do her morning routine, including her morning skincare routine. She used leave in conditioner on her hair, and a wide toothed comb, so as not to lose the curls, only combing the tangles. She kind of let it hang loose around her shoulders, then went to the kitchen to make coffee. Her phone began going off, "Oh fuck off Nate." She told her phone before picking it up in the middle of grinding coffee beans. "Hello?" She spoke into the phone and started the grinder, whatever Nate said next was lost to the sounds of coffee being ground in his ear, and hers. She stopped and began pouring the ground coffee into the filter, Nate let out a string of curse words. "Hey virgin ears here buddy," Koa teased with a smile on her face,
"Yeah right," He muttered. "What did you want to talk about today anyway?"
"Come over and I'll tell you," Koa replied in a far too chipper voice. She could hear Nate groan over the phone. "Come on, you know you love me," She teased, he grumbled something about coming over.
Nate and Koa had an in detailed conversation about her new girlfriend. She explained the reasoning for needing him to check in at Levi's club, and told him everything he knew about her. Nate would collect more information surely, but she wasn't going to ask him to do that. She also wouldn't want him to tell her anything he found out, he knew that. She wanted Levi to tell her about her herself.
"So yeah, we're going to dinner tonight, hopefully to mend some things and talk a bit. Of course I'm not going to go into detail about work," She could tell Nate was wondering how much she would reveal. "I'll give the skeleton of details, at least for now. I don't want her running for the hills already," Levi was a special woman, and Koa was sure she could trust her at this point. But would she want to be with someone that was second in command in one of the most well known gangs in LA? "Okay we gotta go, Eric wanted us there twenty minutes ago," Koa got up and with Nate she left and headed to work, hoping she would be done by 3, 3:30, so that she would have time to get ready for her date.

Morning babe! Sounds good, I hope you slept well. Have you eaten yet? Make sure to eat! And stay hydrated. I'll see you at Katsuya at 5.

Levi was eating some oatmeal that she had found in the cabinet that she had topped with fresh fruit when the text from Koa came through. She opened the message and she responded:
She locked her phone and Levi heard the front door unlocking, revealing her sister who had her weekender bag and their camera with them . "Hey! How was your night?" "It was good! Jay and I went to the live art exhibit with Lily and it was lovely. We're thinking about bringing her in," AmaLee said as she grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl on the table, taking a seat across from Levi. The sibling looked at Levi from the other side of the table and cocked their head to the side. "What's wrong sis?"
Levi looked over at their sister and closed the laptop. "Nothing is wrong, there is just a lot on my mind is all. Do you have the time?" Her sibling turned the chair around and sat with their legs apart, resting their arms and head on the back of the chair. "For you? Always."
So Levi talked about Koa first, how they had met and the little awkward situation that had come up. AmaLee listened with an open heart. "Jeez, that just sounds like a really screwy coincidence, but nonetheless you're doing the right thing. You needed to have that space and going to talk about it and lay your cards out on the table is a good way to go about it. It's good that she's also not violating your boundaries when you said that you needed space, that's also important. She sounds like a good one." "She's wonderful, I'll have to introduce you," Levi said as she took a sip of her water. "I would love to meet her," AmaLee said, setting the apple core down on the table right side up so that it wouldn't damage it.
"That's not the big thing though," Levi said, heaving a deep sigh. She paused and looked AmaLee in the eyes.
" Delia called."
This caused AmaLee to sit up straight. "Delia called? Why?" "You know why, kid," Levi said, a sad look on her face. "No. I don't want to go," AmaLee said quietly, gripping their elbows with their hands. "I know, but you know we have to." "I don't want to, you know what happened," AmaLee said, tears welling in her eyes. At this point, Levi got up from her seat and got down on her knees, looking at AmaLee in the eyes. "I know it's coming up quicker than we wanted, but you remember what I told you all of those years ago? Hm?" Tears rolled down AmaLee's face but they nodded. "You told me that you would always protect me." "By any means necessary. I intend to keep that promise for as long as I have breath in my body okay?" Levi wiped the tears off of her sibling's face. "If anything, we can keep this place so that we can always come back, okay? We'll figure something out, we always do." AmaLee nodded and held out her pinky. Levi offered hers back and she shook it with her sister's. "Forever and always mi corazón... Now go and get ready. I remember that you had a date tonight yeah? Have fun okay? Call me if you need anything, even if it is just to talk. I have my talk with Koa tonight, but I will pick up for you okay?" "Okay. I love you," AmaLee said as she wiped her eyes and she reached out for a hug. Levi got up from the floor and she hugged her sibling. She pulled back and then pressed a kiss to AmaLee's forehead, lingering there as she closed her eyes. She then pulled back and let Ama go so that they could get ready for their date. That person made Levi want to be a better person, that was the light of her life. Anything that AmaLee wanted, Levi would move heaven and earth for them to get it. If anything was to happen to AmaLee, Levi wouldn't know what to do.
Levi let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding in and checked the time. It was 2:00. She needed to catch a nap before her date with Koa, she was drained after having to lay that on AmaLee. She hated being the bearer of bad news, but this was something that has been a long time coming. Levi collected her laptop and phone off of the table and she went back to her room, putting her electronics on their respective chargers and setting a timer for 40 minutes before falling into the bed and drifting off to sleep.

You do the same, actually eat something and hydrate with something other than coffee. See you at five 💖

Levi collected her laptop and phone off of the table and she went back to her room, putting her electronics on their respective chargers and setting a timer for 40 minutes before falling into the bed and drifting off to sleep.
Koa laughed when she got the text from Levi, she already knew her so well. She lived off caffeine, she could have an IV put in full of it and be happy as hell. She wondered why the room was so quiet as she glanced up from her phone. Eric and Nate were staring at her like she'd lost her head. "What the fuck?" She asked, "Quit staring, a girls allowed to be happy, damn." Her cheeks burned, she hadn't realized that they were paying attention to her. Of course she so rarely laughed around Eric, he was a dick, so she was one back. The three continued their meeting for 45 more minutes, each minute ticking by was slow as molasses. But Koa knew that they had to get this out of the way, she was forced to go over every detail with Jake over again, twice. It was really annoying if she was being honest, Nate looked ready to fall asleep, as he had already taken notes himself the first time they'd gone over it. Eric just couldn't get over that she'd been successful, he pretty much said that. Koa was thinking of ways to kill him when he cleared his throat, loudly, obviously her day dreaming had gone a little too long "Hm? Yeah everything sounds good," Koa got up and went out of the little office in the warehouse. She liked her office better, it was tucked into a little seafood restaurant downtown. It was always crazy busy in the restaurant, so Koa never felt quite alone, she thrived off of the energy there. Eric wanted to be locked up in some cold warehouse like on a movie or something. "Cya," She gave a mock salute and left the boys to their own devices. It was 3:30, she had to get back home, changed, and then head out on her date.
Koa took a shower as soon as she got home, she took care of her hair afterwards, put on bare minimum makeup, and made sure that her skin was glowing before heading out to pick out an outfit. The outfit(view spoiler) was perfect, she left her hair down loose, but put a white scrunchie in her pocket just in case. She looked at the time, damn it was already 4:15, she had to go. Koa turned off most of the lights, and locked her front door before heading down and to her truck. Koa wondered what Levi would look like tonight, she bit her bottom lip in anticipation. She couldn't wait to see her, though they would have a very hard conversation, she was still ready to touch her, talk to her, be with her. Breathe in the same air as she did. It was hard being away from her, and that wasn't what normally happened for Koa. This was an entirely new experience.
Koa headed for the restaurant. she was blasting Olivia Rodrigo and singing along. Then Nate beeped in and interrupted her impromptu karaoke, "Damn you Nate." She muttered before answering, "Yeah? You're interrupting." Nate could be heard choking, "I thought you were just going for dinner!" He yelled. "What the fuck Nate, we are? I meant you're interrupting the concert I was having with myself, perv." It made Koa grin though, she would certainly love to do that as soon as it was deemed appropriate. They were taking their time, which Nate wouldn't understand. "What do you need?" She asked plainly, he explained that he couldn't do pickup the next day at the warehouse, Koa assured him that she'd be fine doing it, then hung up on his ass. She loved fucking with the guy, it was hilarious. She continued belting out songs until she got to the block the restaurant was at. It was packed, she wondered how Levi even got them a table. She looked around for parking, then spotted a parking garage and went to park in it. After she was tucked in on the second floor she began the walk to the restaurant, humming as she went.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Levi was up, showering and washing her hair as a phone call came through on her bathroom speaker, the tone indicating that it was Jade, her best friend. She took her hand out of her hair and pressed the answer key on the waterproof speaker," Hey babes! What's up?" "Hey, so I don't know if Delilah had already reached out to you, but club's closed until further notice. There was a gas leak and it's pretty bad. I dunno when they're gonna have us back to work but it might not be for a while," Jade said. "Oh, well that sucks but it's also a blessing in disguise," Levi said, rinsing her hair out and tying it up so that she could wash her body. "Blessing for sure. Delilah said it could be a couple of weeks cause she's gonna use this time to do some renovations as well. We're going to get paid for it either way, so enjoy the time!" "Thanks boo, what are you going to do?" Levi asked as she lathered her soap up onto her body with her loofah. "Mmmmm Lora says that she's going to plan something so I'm just going to let the rest surprise me. What about you? Are you getting ready to go on your date with Koa? How are you feeling?"
Levi rinsed her body off and turned the water off, grabbing a towel off of the rack that she had next to her shower and she wrapped it around her body, stepping out of the shower and onto the bath mat that lived there. "You know J, I'm feeling pretty good about it. Obviously, I'm nervous as hell about what I will find out but I'm an open book. I have nothing to hide and I feel like with Koa it'll be a lot of the same sentiment." "If you need me to bail you out, I gotchu. I want this to go well for you boo. Please let me know okay? I'll keep my phone on," Jade said back, a little worry in her voice. "I will. Do me a favor though? Will you be able to take me to my car? Koa took me home last night and I left my car at the club," Levi said as she finished toweling off. "Babe, that's no problem. Plus that means I get more time to see you before your date to make sure that you're good. Will you be ready in an hour?" "That's perfect. You're literally the best you know that," Levi said as she wrung her hair out over the sink. "I know. Alright, I'll see you soon love. I love you!" Jade said as the line went dead and the speaker went back to playing the playlist Levi had selected. Levi dropped her towel back over the rack that she had got it off of before she started the rest of her routine of applying lotion to her body and doing her skincare.
After finishing in the bathroom, Levi opened the door and wandered over to her closet. What to wear, what to wear? Levi scanned her closet and finally her eyes settled on a dress that was show stopping. Hopefully it wouldn't be too much for their date. She pulled the dress out and set it on the bed, along with some accessories that would pair perfectly. Oh yeah, there was no way that she would not turn heads. Satisfied with her choices, she moved to her vanity to start her makeup. Levi wouldn't be doing anything too crazy today, just some tinted moisturizer and an eye and lip combo would do the trick tonight.
Levi finally finished her makeup and was putting the finishing touches on her lips, checking herself out in the mirror, Damn she was good. She turned off her vanity light and slipped on her outfit for the night, the red and white combo looking amazing. Levi was packing her clutch bag for the night as she heard the door open and close. "Where's my angel love at?" Levi heard Jade say as she sat down at the bar in the kitchen, the keys clanging against the marble island. "I'm in my room, I'm literally done." Levi looked at herself one more time before exiting her room, turning off the lights and making her way out to the kitchen, the heels clacking against the floor.
As Jade watched Levi come into view, she wolf whistled. "I don't think you're going to be doing much talking with you wearing that doll," Jade said with a chuckle. "I mean she can stare if she wants to, as long as she doesn't get distracted," Levi said, grabbing her keys off of the hook by the door as the two girls left the apartment, the time being 4:15.
Ten minutes later, Levi was on her way to the restaurant, jamming out to the lofi that she had on in the car, nodding her head to the beat trying not to get lost in her thoughts.
Soon, she was pulling up to Katsuya and saw that it was packed. Good thing that Levi had called this morning, otherwise they probably wouldn't have even had a table and would have to wait at least two hours for a table. Levi pulled into the parking garage that was right next to Katsuya, finding a spot on the ground level so that she would just have to cross the street. As she pulled into the spot and put it into park, Levi's stomach was in knots. How was this conversation going to go? What if it didn't go well? What then? She couldn't just walk away from Koa, their chemistry was too natural. What would they do?
Levi couldn't think about what if scenarios. She needed to get out and do it. Taking a deep breath, Levi turned her car off and exited it, grabbing her clutch and clicking the fob to lock it. She opened her clutch bag and put her keys in, taking her phone out and finding her and Koa's conversation.
Levi to Red 🔥
Hey! I'm here and walking across the street right now. Let me know when you're here Red.
Koa's fingers were clenched around her phone as she made her way down the street, she was nervous as hell for this dinner. Yet she was so ready for it, they needed to be a bit more honest with one another, obviously. She just had to be careful with how much she revealed, it mattered. At least to Koa it did. She was a few feet from the entrance when her phone dinged, she looked down and read Levi's text, a smile crossed her face, she looked up and around for the woman that was melting her heart. She zeroed in on her quick, and moved around people to approach her.
"Damn, how do you expect me to behave with you in an outfit like that babe?" She asked as they neared one another, she let out a low whistle before leaning in and kissing Levi on the cheek. "You're something else," She commented before taking Levi's hand, hoping this was an okay action. They were after all taking space, or they were last night. So she wasn't sure of the boundaries here, but she knew that she felt more comfortable with Levi's hand in hers around all of these people waiting to be seated. There was no telling the amount of threats that could be there, and she was keeping an eye and ear out for anything out of the ordinary. "Lets do this, yeah?" She asked, ready to go drop her beautiful girlfriends name to get their table.

Levi entered the restaurant and soon she set eyes on Koa, a smile forming on her features as she made eye contact with her lover. She swept her eyes up and down her girlfriend’s figure openly as she finally closed the space between them, Levi’s cheeks gaining slight flush. “I could say the same for you,” the woman said as Koa pressed a kiss to her cheek. Levi returned the favor and felt ease when Koa reached for her hand, Levi grabbing it and intertwining their fingers eagerly. The talk that they were going to have might be hard but it would definitely deepen their relationship. Now how much Koa was going to ask… well Levi was going to keep it as honest as she could. There was nothing to hide about her job, unless Koa started asking other questions. Then… well… answers might have to start being filtered.
Levi nodded and guided them to the host stand, giving the host her name and after the girl behind the podium found it they were being whisked away to their table. It was a table with an amazing skyline view of LA, so romantic and intimate. Perfect for their conversation. Levi sat down, placing her clutch on the table and looking over to Koa. She looked immaculate under the candlelight. “How was your day babe? Tell me all about it, what did you do today?” Rather break the ice with something easy before they dived straight into other topics.
