Yes maybe, although maybe it’s nostalgia from when they were last all friends. I think if you go to a boarding school it’s more of a team affair than just a normal school, especially in England.

Are both narrators messing up the truth? Omg so many questions!!

The ushers sound suspicious. Somebody died when they attended school. I wonder if they were involved? This has got to be connected to what Johnno was seeing.
Also, there’s something sinister going on with Will. Aoife seems to be the only one to find him shady and I low-key trust her instincts. (hide spoiler)]

Also, this is a really weird observation. Hannah mentioned her sister, Alice, had an ex who leaked the videos of them together. Jules mentioned Will liked filming them together and even the ushers mentioned that Will distributed pictures. Could the ex-boyfriend be Will? A name wasn’t mentioned, so I don’t know… And how is this all linked?

I’m starting to think that Will was murdered but I’m entirely sure why and who. My brain is all fuzzy trying to connect everything haha

Edit: I just realized! Jules got a note saying that she shouldn't marry Will. Could someone from Will's past (an ex-girlfriend or maybe even the boy they called Loner) be involved? Knowing how toxic he can be? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ yeah the note has to have come from somewhere, and someone who knew Jules pretty well as it went to her house. And i think it was Charlie or Hannah who said at the beginning that maybe Will is only in it for Jules’ money, and I’m starting to think maybe they’re right... I feel bad for Olivia, but maybe there’s something suspicious about her as she is the only one who has revealed her secret, or maybe she’s just the one with the nicest heart? There’s got to be something to with Hannah, I don’t know if its normal, but it seemed kind of strange that she was left to sit on her own in the wedding, because Charlie was sat at the front.
Also about Hannah, both her and her Mum mentioned that june was a morbid month for them, i wonder why?

Things have started to pace up a little. People's secret are finally coming out. I feel so bad for Olivia. She doesn't deserve a sister like Jules. I mean, How can Jules be so self-centered..?

And Johnno, his chapters are becoming much more depressing now. Being betrayed by the person you considered to be your best-friend is the worst feeling ever. He has got a motive now. Though I don't really see him as the killer.

I like Hannah and Aoife. I don't see anything particularly wrong about them. So far, my favorite characters.. (hide spoiler)]

That is a really good observation, i would say. I, too, very much believe that Will is going to be murdered. Now, a lot of people have their own reasons to dislike him.

I am curious about Aoife's family as well. She mentions that a part of graveyard is where her family is buried. What exactly happened? (hide spoiler)]

Yeah..I too was a bit confused about the solving of the murder. I haven't read anything like this before, So I have no idea how these type of mysteries turn out to be.. if there's a detective or if it gets solved by someone "accidentally"..

Omg! I had never once considered that Will might be Steven!! I did consider the possibility of him being Olivia's ex-boyfriend, Callum (in the very beginning, before Callum's name etc. was mentioned) and also after Emma's update, as Alice's boyfriend.
But him being Steven?? That explains Olivia's strange behaviour ..that must have been really hard for her. What a total dickhead Will is!!

I know right! I’m not sure if you saw my update on this book, but I’m kinda annoyed that we haven’t got to the murder yet. I’m worried that the solving it but is going to be rushed, and that’s my favourite part of any mystery.

Finished (view spoiler)[The ending was too abrupt and nobody solved the mystery which was pretty anti-climatic. I wasn't really surprised that Aoife was the murderer because I always suspect the least suspicious. I read too many mysteries so maybe that has prepared me for anything lol

It's kinda poetic justice that Johnno got arrested and Will killed. In the end, they did not get away with what they did to Loner. Kinda felt bad for Johnno though... I wanted to know more about Hannah/Charlie and Jules/Olivia. Overall, I enjoyed the writing style and the slow burn but it was an average read, unfortunately. (hide spoiler)]
