I needd her to be with Rowan. I mean, I know Sarah kept saying they were friends. But gosh, look at Olicity, from Arrow, they were friends before and now, well.

Dorian. Definitely Dorian. I mean, I ship her and Rowan so hard, but I love their platonic relationship and I wouldn't buy it if it changed. Chaol I really disliked in Heir of Fire; he was so wishy washy and it cost Dorian, Sorscha, and Aedion their lives, basically.

I don't think she is going to end up with Rowan because he is just a friend to her from what we have read in HoF. She needed someone to help her move past what happened in CoM, and Rowan did that for her. Aedion...well, I just have a feeling that they aren't going to get together, because from what we have seen, Aedion feels like he needs to protect her more than be her mate. And though he did say he would be anything to her, I don't believe that Celaena/Aelin would ask that of him. I am thinking it would be either Chaol or Dorian...I can't narrow it down from there because my heart can't do that at this time....

I don't mind, actually, as long as Rowan and her stay as JUST friends.

Dorian needs to learn how to control his magic, and both Celaena and Rowan could help him out there. I don't think he will end up with her though. The memory of Sorscha is probably too painful.

And Chaol, well... he's still a good match.

Celaena might forgive Chaol when she learns how he has protected her and Aedion in her absence which might reignite their romance but kind of think its done now. I think she loves Rowan for all he has done for her since they met and I think he loves her but not sure it is enough they will always be strong friends. Now that leaves Dorian as I dont think Aedion is in the running (yet). They both have something to bring to the table plus uniting the 2 continents and freeing the magic has got to be good for both of them. Cant wait to find out but then theres the witches mmmmm lots of threads to think about ☺

I think Aelin and Chaol sort of just burned that bridge, i mean i used to ship them from the beginning so hard i started cussing during every moment with Dorian. But i mean she and rowan really have something and it is a sort of taboo to them i think to speak of it. now i am a die hard Rowan and Aelin shipper. during heir of fire she sort of rebuilt who she was and celaena sarthodien may have been with chaol, but celaena didn't have magic, she wasn't fae, she forgot her past. Aelin has more empathy more mature than celaena ever was and ever will be. When celaena became aelin she accepted her past and her future and dropped the pen name. Rowan was such a big part of that, that bond would never be broken with them i believe. Chaol realized what a great person aelin could be right after she left. So i think celaena/chaol wont work anymore because celaena doesn't exist and never truly did.
