Same ISBN but 2 different covers.

Hi, I've done some simple edits as a Librarian but I've just tried to add an edition of a book that isn't on Goodreads and encountered a problem. The ISBN for the book is the same but the cover has changed. I want to add the latest edition but I don't want to overwrite the old one or create any confusion. The ISBN in question is 9781857988482. How do I create the new edition with the same ISBN but keep the old one?

Okay so usually in this case you check the librarian log and see if there's been any image cover changed in the older entries. If not then you can proceed to make an ACE (alternate cover edition).
Just add the book without the ISBN but add all the other details. Then you make a librarian note in the description and in the librarian note feature to alert people that it's an ACE and shouldn't be deleted.

Thanks for your help. I've added the edition without the ISBN and with a librarian note. I hope it's right.

Definitely is right, thought next time when you add a cover you should try to crop out the white spaces. I don't know if it's just me but I just think it looks better and neater.
