My week three book. :) I really love the movie and Jane Austen's books, but I haven't read this one all the way through yet!

Might I also recommend the BBC series from 2008? It's quite good, and while I confess to being fond of the movie, also a better adaptation. :)Just out of curiosity, you have previously read some of the book? Whereabouts have you reached?
I don't quite remember; it was a few years ago when I was going through an Austen phase, so her books have somewhat blurred together in my mind. It's part of the reason why I want to read the book - so that I can sort it out again.I've heard that the series was better than the movie. I've heard something similar about Pride and Prejudice, since I was a big fan of the Keira Knightley Movie, and a friend told me to watch an earlier film version instead. I still haven't gotten to it; I'm really bad at catching up with movies/tv shows. But I'll add the BBC series to my list!
I will be reading this one during week 2 - the classic romance week :) maybe afterwards I'll catch up with the movie!
I just read this in December (when I was supposed to be studying for exams). So far it isn't my favourite of Jane Austen's books, but I still loved it of course! I have a big soft spot for Emma now that I've read it, which might be partially influenced by my love of Clueless haha...Looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks about Sense and Sensibility! :)
Well, maybe classic romance is not for me after all... I did not enjoy the book! I know it is Jane Austen and all, but it was a tedious read for me and pretty much predictable :(
