2015 - I've Killed a Level, Badge me!

Thanks, Cherie, I am so addicted that I am continuing to off the many series I have started!

Unfortunately, I have only killed off one series so far, and started 7 new ones.

Killing one and adding 7 sounds about right. ☺

@Janice Don't I know it. Though, before I started, I kept running out of books to read, so this is actually excellent. Thanks for the badge, it is super cute!

And well done everyone else trying to stay hot on her heels!!

No, Rebecca is on Level 14. She definately leading the pack!

Not that Janice goes out of her way to set up the Yearly challenges so that YLTO members can compete with each other, but we seem to do it regardless. First we compete with the titles. Then the lists. Then who can be first to get a badge, or read a book, or what ever. Then to see who can get the most levels done. And then to see who can read the most books. It is just in our nature.
What you said about my being the biggest serial killer is not exactly correct. Not counting Rebecca who is in a speciall class all her own, you have actually finished off more series than I have. I have only killed one series on each of my five levels. I have a lot of series to go. ☺
This challenge really "challenges" us to decide how we want to go about earning the level badges. It all comes down to how many books we want to read and how many books are in the series we choose to kill off. Along with that, it comes down to how many books we want to read for the new series we start. There are so many different ways to compute the points for the levels.

The major premise is to challenge ourselves. Like Cherie says, the rest just kind of happens. A little friendly competitiveness doesn't hurt.

I see that you found it. Any time you want to look at your badges, head over to the Wall of Fame folder.

I primarily just compete with myself too. But, seeing others do so well gives me motivation.

The task-completion oriented individual inside of me thanks you.

Also, Nancy H has reached the heights with Badge #5. Don't stop though Nancy. There may be surprises at the end of the year."
Thanks, Janice. I am continuing and my goal is to kill off at least 12 levels and maybe even 24 series by year's end. Badges or no badges, I am now completely hooked on this challenge.
