Thanks, Janice. I just looked at it and it is great! You are doing a wonderful job with the badges! I am already working on the next one!
Cherie wrote: "Congratulations, Nancy! Double homicide in Level 2 - way to go!"Thanks, Cherie. I am finding that I like this 'serial killing' stuff!
Not dragons the creature but the dragon reborn, the man, the hero of wheel of time. And 1 book was all dragon for the series I started so dragon is quite apprpriate really. Thanks

You just slid past me, Dawn. I am still making my way through the last two books on my level 4 list. Congratulations! (Thanks for giving me the last title for the City Watch series. I was missing that. ☺)
It never occured to me when I saw it on Rebecca's wall that it was populated with multiple Slicks. I still think they are too cute looking though. :0)
Well Slick is a handsome devil, he and his buddies can't help it.For the newbies, Slick was born when I said that I read at a snail's pace. We used to be able to import ticker tapes and I used a snail to show my progress. Somehow, he was named Slick. Over time, he kind of morphed into a slug and now he's a shape shifter and alternates between snail and slug form. He's kind of become the group's mascot.

I remember hearing the story last year, when we were starting the chunkster challenge.
I think I'm in for the long haul, Dawn. I'm still reeling from the mind boggling number if books I have to look forward to reading and the number of books I already have on hand to choose from. Does that stop me from buying more books or looking at more series to consider? A big NO to both! I spent three hours yesterday evening looking up all of the Discworld book titles and editing my paper list into all of the rightful series (at least as posted on GR). I still need to edit my series thread to update them. I am not sure if I will add the others, but I am glad I have the list. My first post in my challenge thread is getting too unwieldy to edit easily, especially from my tablet. I wish we could insert sometimes.
Cherie wrote: "Hey Marcus! Welcome to becoming a serial killer!"Thanks...it just feels right somehow :-)
Woo-hoo! I did much better in the month of January than I thought I would. 6 series killed off! Have I mentioned lately that I LOVE this challenge?!? Level 3 done and two more series killed:
2 more series caught up:
Home for the Homicide - Jennie Bentley - #7 in series - done! Points 70+5 = 75
Hasty Death - Marion Chesney - Edwardian Mystery series - done! (4 books in series) 40 + 5 = 45
Another one read:
Wife of the Gods - Kwei Quartey - 5 points
Total for Level 3: 125 points
Hi there! Is this thread where I report my kill? I've posted on my thread as well (https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...) . Since this is my first challenge I don't have a wall and am not sure how to get one. But I am excited about it! (Since I don't have an exotic name - I'm the one with the bunny with glasses on her profile). Thanks! And as I saw is a tradition for some from a different YLTO thread - rabbit, rabbit!
Yes, you do have a wall, Susan. It was created this morning and there are already a couple of badges on it. Go have a gander... or should I say 'hop on over'.https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
